We all know that everything in Hollywood is fake, but we love to forget that so we can be swept along in the suspension of disbelief. We know that movie scenes are often shot in front of what appear to be city buildings, but they’re really just plywood painted fronts with nothing behind them. But we have a much harder time accepting that the actors and actresses we like to watch are not the characters they play. Often, they’re simply not very interesting or intelligent people (when they’re not being downright obnoxious). 

Americans were disappointed several years ago to realize that everyone’s favorite Austrian-American, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was not the bad-ass he portrayed in Conan: The Barbarian, or The Terminator. Underneath the steroid induced muscles and the carefully shepherded accent, Schwarzenegger turned out to be just another Hollywood liberal. Or, maybe it was his Austrian heritage that made kneeling to tyrannical government authority so appealing to the actor. 

During the second year of the so-called Covid “pandemic,” Schwarzenegger joined nearly every other A-lister to insult and belittle Americans who didn’t want to be forced to take a “vaccine.” Echoing the demented President Joe Biden who told the nation that his patience was “wearing thin” with adult Americans who exercised freedom of choice, Schwarzenegger shocked the viewing public with this video interview:

“There are still people that live in denial, there are still people that don’t believe in masks,” he said. “The only way we can prevent it is we can vaccinate it, wear masks, do social distancing, wash your hands all the time, and not just to think about ‘well my freedom is being kind of disturbed here’. No, screw your freedom.”

Prepare to be shocked again. The former California Governor (allegedly as a Republican) joined the shrews on The View this week to talk about illegal immigration and the riots in Los Angeles protesting the immigration crackdown on illegals. Co-host Joy Behar obviously thought she was going to goad Schwarzenegger into taking the standard Democrat/liberal stance. In other words, she was sure that the actor would agree with her that the real problem was immigration police enforcing the law, not the fact of brazen border jumpers setting fire to their host country. 

Schwarzenegger, astonishingly, spoke as an immigrant himself in the tone that immigrants used to use, gratitude for what the country has given him. He didn’t express “solidarity” with the rioting illegal aliens. Instead, Schwarzenegger said, “You have a responsibility as an immigrant to give back to America.”

Not everyone was in a forgiving frame of mind:

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has claimed that the city could face labor shortages if illegal immigrants are targeted amid the ongoing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.

During an interview with Katie Couric, Bass blamed President Donald Trump for sparking anti-ICE protests that have led to days of unrest in the city.

“My biggest fear is the impact that all Angelenos will begin to feel when the labor of immigrants is absent,” Bass said.

“We’ll feel it in the construction industry. We’ll feel it in hospitality. We’ll feel it at grocery stores. People will begin to notice.”

She also said that the situation could significantly affect families that rely on services provided by immigrants.

“You think about the mothers who have nannies and housekeepers. They will feel it when there’s nobody to do childcare and there’s nobody to take their kids to school,” she continued.

“You know, you will feel it when your gardener goes away, and you don’t know where he or she is. So Angelenos will feel the absence of immigrant labor.”

Bass said she spoke with one resident who reported that local grocery store shelves were empty due to a lack of workers available.

“[T]o have parents who are not sure they could go to work, or to be fearful of letting their kids go to school, it disrupts families,” Bass said.

“It creates unbelievable pressure and tension. You can imagine the mental health impacts on the children, especially the children that are old enough to remember the last Trump administration or were old enough to remember COVID,” she added.

Bass also maintains that immigration raids launched in Los Angeles contributed directly to the current wave of anti-ICE protests.

However, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) indicated it will not alter course.

“Secretary Noem has a message to the LA rioters: you will not stop us or slow us down. ICE will continue to enforce the law and arrest criminal illegal aliens,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said Wednesday in a statement.

ICE operations continue to ramp up amid unrest in several major cities, with a focus on identifying and arresting illegal immigrants with criminal records.

DHS was clear that its enforcement priorities remain unchanged.

The latest political dance craze sweeping the nation is admitting to everyone that you’re an illegal alien with no right to be in the U.S. and daring the authorities to do anything about it. Remember when you used to keep bad things hidden because you knew that you’d get in trouble? That’s all over now. If you’re on the left, and especially if you’re gay, brown, black, gender-confused, disabled, or anything-not-white, all the bad and illegal things you’ve done make you a Very Good Person but Also A Victim. 

Did you know we’ve got illegal aliens serving as elected Congressional representatives? Don’t take my word for it, take it directly from the source. Here’s Rep. Kaohly Vang Her of Minnesota proudly telling the world her family broke the law when coming to the U.S., and that she’s an illegal alien. 

“So his parents are illegal in this country,” she said, telling a story of how her own father lied on immigration paperwork about family relationships. “I am illegal in this country.”

Yes, readers, that’s supposed to be a proud “mic drop” moment in 2025, admitting that you’re not a citizen and that you’ve been illegally elected to the United States House of Reprentatives. This is what the left considers a proud, bold stance. But will anyone do anything about it? It’s hard to see how, since law-breaking-if-you’re-a-leftist seems to generate so few consequences in the 21st century.

It’s not just elected officials doing it either, but illegal gay aliens from Vietnam who post bitchy comments online about what Vice President JD Vance wears. He calls himself “Derek Guy,” but who knows what his name may be. Guy wrote a long, teary post about how his family may have come here illegally, but they’re good people, and good people shouldn’t be deported, etc. 

He may be getting too big for his wash-n-wear britches. Vance noticed the tweet, and he noticed the suggestions from other users that an admitted illegal alien might need some attention from immigration authorities. Vance responded to a tweet with an image from the famous horror movie “The Shining.”

Michigan Secretary of State and 2026 Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson is “appalled” by developments at the anti-ICE riots over the weekend, and she’s taking a stand in support of the “law abiding people” of Los Angeles.

Benson took to X on Sunday to ensure Michiganders understand the leading Democratic candidate for governor adamantly opposes President Donald Trump’s efforts to stop the folks setting their city ablaze to keep illegal immigrants in the U.S.

“As a military spouse whose career is inspired by the bravery of citizens who stood up for democracy during the civil rights movement – and the National Guard who protected them – I am appalled that President Trump is deploying our military to quell protests against his regime,” Benson wrote. “It’s not who we are, it does not make us great, and I pray that no law abiding people are hurt or worse due to this flagrant, tyrannical abuse of power.”

The post followed violent anti-ICE riots across Los Angeles on Friday that compelled the Trump administration on Saturday to deploy National Guard troops to “address the lawlessness that has been allowed to fester.”

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller issued a clear directive Thursday following the arrest of an illegal immigrant involved in a fatal car crash that claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman in Colorado. Miller stated on X, “The entire family will be deported.”

The incident in question occurred in July 2023, when a 16-year-old illegal immigrant from Colombia, driving without a license, struck and killed Kaitlyn Weaver while traveling at 90 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone.

Weaver, a 24-year-old U.S. citizen, died at the scene, as reported by The Western Journal.

Last week, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed the arrest of the Colombian teenager along with his family members, all of whom are also in the country illegally.

“The minor, who was convicted of reckless driving resulting in death, was arrested along with his family who are also illegal aliens,” ICE said in a statement.

Just one week prior to the ICE action, the minor had been sentenced to probation and community service, avoiding jail time despite the fatal nature of the incident.

The sentencing drew widespread public criticism and renewed calls for immigration enforcement reform, particularly concerning criminal cases involving illegal immigrants.

The case has become a flashpoint in the ongoing national debate over illegal immigration and public safety.

Conservative leaders have pointed to it as another example of how current policies can allow those in the country unlawfully to avoid significant legal consequences, even in cases involving the death of an American citizen.

This is not the first time such a case has prompted national attention. Critics have long argued that existing immigration enforcement mechanisms fail to address individuals who have committed serious offenses while in the United States illegally.

ICE has stated that enforcement priorities include illegal immigrants who have been convicted of crimes or pose a threat to public safety.

Stephen Miller, a longtime advocate for stricter immigration policies, has maintained that deportation should be the standard for all illegal immigrants, especially those involved in criminal acts.

In this case, the call to remove the entire family aligns with the Trump administration’s broader approach to immigration enforcement.

Weaver’s death has become a rallying point for immigration reform advocates who argue that more robust enforcement is necessary to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

As of now, ICE has not released the names of the individuals arrested or provided a timeline for removal proceedings.

Legal challenges targeting the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies continue to emerge, with funding for many of the lawsuits tracing back to organizations supported by George Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

Breitbart reporter John Binder has tracked the financial networks behind multiple lawsuits opposing President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda.

The latest legal battle involves a challenge to the Trump administration’s effort to deport violent illegal aliens to third countries, including South Sudan.

The administration began deporting individuals with final orders of removal to South Sudan earlier this year, citing the refusal of some home countries to accept individuals with criminal records.

Department of Homeland Security officials emphasized that the individuals deported had been convicted of violent crimes, including murder, rape, and child sex offenses.

“These were vicious illegal aliens,” DHS officials stated in a public release.

However, in March, the nonprofit Human Rights First joined two other organizations in filing a lawsuit against the Trump administration.

The lawsuit challenges DHS’s authority to deport illegal aliens to countries other than their nation of origin, arguing that such actions are unlawful without sufficient notice to the individuals affected.

Human Rights First has also filed litigation seeking to preserve immigration parole programs established under Joe Biden’s administration.

According to public records cited by Binder, the Soros-backed Open Society Foundations (OSF) has contributed nearly $6.2 million to Human Rights First.

In April, U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy, appointed by former President Biden to the District of Massachusetts, issued a preliminary injunction temporarily halting deportations to third countries without prior notice.

Judge Murphy’s order required the DHS to provide detained individuals with “credible fear interviews” before removing them to a country that is not their place of origin.

Since the ruling, the Trump administration has deported eight individuals with final removal orders to South Sudan.

All eight had criminal convictions, including for violent offenses such as murder and sexual assault.

Judge Murphy ruled that DHS had violated his earlier injunction and ordered the department to provide additional legal steps before proceeding with further deportations to South Sudan or similar third-country destinations.

Officials from South Sudan have voiced objections to receiving deportees with criminal histories, although there is no formal agreement barring the U.S. from conducting such deportations.

DHS has argued that removal to a third country is necessary in cases where an alien’s home country refuses repatriation, particularly when public safety is at risk.

The ongoing litigation underscores growing tensions between the Trump administration’s push for stricter immigration enforcement and legal challenges supported by left-leaning advocacy groups.

Many of those groups, including Human Rights First, have received substantial backing from the Soros network.

Critics of the lawsuits argue that efforts to block the removal of criminal aliens place American communities at risk and amount to judicial overreach.

The administration has signaled it will continue to pursue third-country deportation options when repatriation to an individual’s home nation is not feasible due to diplomatic or security obstacles.

The case remains active in federal court, with DHS expected to submit further documentation to comply with the judge’s orders.

Additional hearings may be scheduled as the administration continues to defend its enforcement authority.

White House Border Czar Tom Homan criticized Democratic Rep. LaMonica McIver on Tuesday following her indictment for assaulting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during an incident at the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the confrontation took place earlier this month and involved McIver and fellow Democratic Representatives Bonnie Watson Coleman and Rob Menendez Jr., along with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.

The group forced their way into the ICE facility in an attempt to stop the detention of individuals suspected of being in the country illegally. Baraka was arrested during the incident.

Footage from the scene shows McIver in a red outfit repeatedly pushing and striking federal officers during the encounter. She was later charged with assaulting, impeding, and interfering with federal agents.

U.S. Attorney Alina Habba announced the indictment on Monday evening, stating, “No one is above the law — politicians or otherwise.”

McIver responded to the charges on Tuesday, calling them “purely political” and accusing ICE agents of escalating the situation. “They created an unnecessary and unsafe confrontation when they chose to arrest Mayor Baraka,” she said in a public statement.

Rep. Watson Coleman also responded to the incident by launching into a profanity-laced tirade, claiming the situation stemmed from racial bias. “Bullsh*t!” she said when asked why the group stormed the facility, also invoking accusations of “White supremacy.”

Homan condemned the lawmakers’ behavior and rhetoric. “It’s disgusting,” he said.

“While these people are sitting home at night and sleeping in their beds nice and comfortably, the men and women of ICE are on the street, putting their lives on the line to arrest public safety threats and national security threats. She should be thanking them for making her community safer, rather than attacking them.”

Homan also commented on the Supreme Court’s recent 8-1 decision to lift a lower court’s injunction blocking President Trump’s order to revoke Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 350,000 Venezuelan nationals.

The decision gives federal authorities the green light to begin large-scale removals.

“We’re going to have more deportations,” Homan said. “If they don’t have any status to be in the country, that means they need to be deported.”

The administration has pledged to move forward with enforcement, citing national security concerns and the need to uphold immigration law.

Homicides are down nearly 60% in Denver so far this year, according to the newly released report by the Major Cities Chiefs Association.

It’s a significant drop from last year and one of the biggest declines in violent crime rates in the country.

“Violent crime is just about reducing in every city, but we were the city in which it had declined the most,” said Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas.

Thomas says he is proud to have that distinction, and it speaks to the hard work of his officers.

“We’ve been able to see these significant reductions in crime without over policing communities,” said Thomas.

“It’s one of the things we have understood was important and we need to be responsive, but we need to make sure we’re investing as much as we’re enforcing.”

Trump-Era ICE Enforcement is Working

Independent journalist Sara Carter commented:

“This marked decrease in violence comes after intensified immigration enforcement under the Trump administration, which had made the Denver metropolitan area a key focus for removals of criminal migrants.

ICE has acted swiftly, arresting 538 illegal aliens across multiple cities, including Denver. Shortly thereafter, the agency expanded its efforts in Colorado, zeroing in on members of Tren de Aragua.

Breitbart News reports that despite these federal initiatives, local Democratic leaders resisted cooperation with ICE.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and Colorado Governor Jared Polis were among those who worked to oppose the administration’s actions, which prompted the Trump administration to initiate legal action against Denver and state officials for obstructing federal immigration enforcement.”

While the figures should be headline news, left-wing media outlets are downplaying the achievement.

After all, what could be worse for them than proving that Trump’s policies work?
