ICE Charges 14 Illegals in Massive Social Security Theft Scheme

ICE Charges 14 Illegals in Massive Social Security Theft Scheme

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced that fourteen illegal aliens have been charged with defrauding the Social Security Administration and stealing American citizens’ identities.

A total of 14 illegal aliens, 12 of whom are from Honduras, were charged with aggravated identity theft, misuse of Social Security numbers, and making false statements.

The defendants, including one Guatemalan and one Mexican national, were indicted on separate dates over the past two years.

If convicted, the individuals face a minimum penalty of two years—up to 12 years—in federal prison, ICE said.

The arrests came amid an ongoing operation that included ICE, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Department of Labor, and several local law enforcement agencies in Florida.

The Trump Administration has vowed to crack down on identity theft committed by illegal immigrants after an Arizona woman recently pleaded guilty to defrauding U.S. companies while making $17 million for herself and North Korea.

Christina Marie Chapman, 48, pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiracy to commit identity theft, wire fraud, and laundering monetary instruments, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

Chapman assisted foreign IT workers who posed as U.S. citizens to work remote jobs for more than 300 American companies.

According to the news release, the scheme generated almost $17 million in illicit revenue for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) government.

Meanwhile, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) confirmed it will work with ICE to help locate and detain illegal aliens with outstanding deportation orders.

The agency has also developed a new task force to locate and detain illegal aliens engaged in Social Security fraud and identity theft.

As we reported earlier this month, Elon Musk said he expects arrests in connection to a significant Social Security fraud operation involving illegal aliens and the stolen identities of over 400,000 Americans.

Musk confirmed the fraud was part of a broader effort to exploit the U.S. welfare systems and voter rolls by illegal immigrants.

While responding to a caller in Pulaski who asked about Social Security fraud, Musk said, “Yes. In fact, I believe someone is going to be arrested tomorrow.”

“This is someone who actually stole 400,000 Social Security numbers and personal information from the Social Security database, and was selling Social Security numbers and all the identification information in order for people to basically steal money from Social Security.”

“This is a particular avenue of fraud for illegal immigrants and for voter fraud, because the main way that identification is established in the United States is via Social Security,” Musk explained.

“So if you compromise the Social Security system, you can basically get people de facto registered to vote, even if they’re not citizens, and to get a bunch of benefits and milk the system. It’s pretty insane.”

Major Victory: Impartial Judge Allows Trump to Register All Illegal Aliens in a Mandatory Federal Database

Despite a staggering number of legal challenges trying to undermine President Trump’s attempts to secure our border, the republican head of state continues to score significant victories.

On April 10, federal judge Trevor N. McFadden of the US District Court for the District of Columbia US ruled in favor of the administration’s request to demand that all illegal immigrants above 14 years register in a mandatory database. Registering in the mandatory database would allow authorities to track undocumented individuals and engage with them when required.

Judge McFadden, a Trump appointee, was responding to a lawsuit by the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights and the United Farm Workers, who claimed that the Department of Homeland Security violated the Administrative Procedure Act. It is mind-boggling that someone who violated the United States Constitution by entering the country illegally can seek the protection of the same constitution.

Ironically, Judge McFadden was the one who ruled in favor of the liberal news media outlet Associated Press (AP) when Trump banished it from the Oval Office’s  East Room, suggesting that the Trump win was not political. Liberals had a field day, thanking Judge McFadden for restoring their First Amendment Rights, but are potentially unlikely to appreciate the recent ruling in Trump’s favor.

Nonetheless, any logical American wonders how illegal immigrants, who entered the country by breaking our rules, are entitled to the protection of the same laws that require notice-and-comment procedures to involve American citizens in the lawmaking process to make their voices heard.

Seemingly, it was a long shot by the ambulance-chasers, who expected a liberal rubber-stamp judge to issue a restraining order without considering the facts of the case.

It is a common-sense practice for the government to collect personal information for all American-born citizens for communication purposes. We all update our addresses to make sure that we can receive mail, including that from the government. That information is usually required on most government forms.

However, Democrats will attempt to convince you that people who broke the law to enter the country illegally have special privileges and should not provide that information.

Meanwhile, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), illegal immigrants who fail to submit their fingerprints or current addresses will face stiff penalties. Individuals below 14 years will also be required to submit information regarding their parents or legal guardians.

Roughly 300,000 unaccompanied minors could not be traced because they did not provide their personal information or their guardians’, raising fears that they might have been trafficked and are in their abusers’ custody.

I double-dare you to find a Democrat who believes that any American-born minor should live in total obscurity without knowing whether they were dead or being abused by their traffickers. Nonetheless, they are willing to sacrifice anything, including the welfare of immigrant children, to make a political statement.

Meanwhile, the ruling was a major victory for Trump’s mass deportation plans. DHS recently directed all illegal immigrants who registered via Biden’s CBP One app to self-deport when it was still convenient. Failure to do so will result in property loss, civil and criminal prosecution, prison sentences, and even a permanent ban from legally entering the United States. Over 900,000 illegal immigrants who registered via the app will be affected.

Without the CBP One database, it would be difficult to know the number of illegal immigrants in the country or even communicate with them. Luckily, some federal judges are willing to consider the facts without involving their personal political prejudices.

Trump’s Self-Deport Plan Gains Steam as DHS Hits 5,000+ Removals, Deadline in Talks for Rest

President Donald Trump announced Thursday that his administration is preparing to implement a strict self-deportation deadline for illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States.

During a Cabinet meeting at the White House, Trump said immigrants who leave voluntarily within a forthcoming 60-day window may have the opportunity to return legally in the future. Those who fail to comply, however, will be barred from applying for legal reentry, as Fox News reported.

2020 National Convention WASHINGTON, DC – AUGUST 27: U.S. President Donald Trump gestures after delivering his acceptance speech for the Republican presidential nomination on the South Lawn.

“We’re going to work with people, so that if they go out in a nice way, and go back to their country, we’re going to work with them right from the beginning on trying to get them back in legally,” Trump said after hearing remarks from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

“So it gives you real incentive, otherwise they’ll never come back — they’ll never be allowed once a certain period of time goes by, which is probably going to be 60 days.”

The plan is part of a broader voluntary removal initiative underway by the Trump administration, which is encouraging illegal immigrants to self-deport through the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Home app.

According to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data, more than 5,000 individuals have chosen to self-deport in the past month alone.

“It’s a very big self-deport operation that we’re starting,” Secretary Noem stated during the meeting.

She explained that under current law, including the Alien Registration Act and the President’s Executive Orders, undocumented immigrants who fail to register their status with the federal government could face criminal charges, fines up to $1,000 per day, and permanent bans on reentry.

Noem also noted that DHS is working to ensure that deported individuals receive some form of support upon returning to their countries of origin.

She pointed to ongoing programs in Mexico, El Salvador, and Colombia that offer food and housing assistance to deportees.

“[We are] making sure that these folks have the opportunity to go home, so that they can get the chance to come back to America is important.”

The administration has not yet finalized the exact date the 60-day clock will begin, but the measure is expected to roll out in the coming weeks as part of a broader effort to restore law and order at the southern border and ensure compliance with immigration laws.

Fox News Digital contacted the White House for comment, but no response was received before publication.

Two Reasons Leavitt Says U.S. Criminals Could Be Deported to El Salvador Hellhole Prison

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed this week that American citizens could be deported to a high-security prison in El Salvador under specific conditions, following a proposal floated by President Donald Trump, as reported by The Daily Mail.

The idea centers around the Terrorism Confinement Center in El Salvador, a facility known for its extreme security and harsh conditions.

Often referred to as a “black hole of human rights,” the prison has gained international attention for its treatment of violent criminals. The proposal, according to Leavitt, is not yet a formal policy and remains under legal review.

“It is an idea he has simply floated,” Leavitt told reporters during a press briefing. She emphasized that if implemented, the deportation policy would target two specific groups: individuals with “heinous and violent” convictions and “violent repeat offenders.”

“These would be heinous, violent criminals. These are violent repeat offenders.”

The concept was inspired by a February offer from El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, who stated his country would be willing to accept convicted criminals, including U.S. citizens, into the massive prison facility in exchange for a fee.

“We are willing to take in only convicted criminals (including convicted U.S. citizens) into our mega-prison… in exchange for a fee,” Bukele wrote in a post on X.

President Trump praised the proposal during remarks on Air Force One. “I love it,” he said. “If he would take them, I’d be honored to give them. I don’t know what the law says on that, but I can’t imagine the law would say anything different. If they can house these horrible criminals for a lot less money than it costs us, I’m all for it.”

The facility, built to house gang members and violent offenders, currently holds several hundred alleged members of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua gang, who were previously deported by Trump using the Alien Enemies Act.

That law, invoked only three times in U.S. history, allowed the administration to remove individuals deemed national security threats.

The U.S. Supreme Court recently upheld Trump’s authority to deport the Venezuelan nationals, though concerns remain. The court ruled that deportees are entitled to legal notice and an opportunity to challenge their removal—rights some did not receive.

Kristi Noem: “I toured the CECOT, El Salvador’s Terrorism Confinement Center.
President Trump and I have a clear message to criminal illegal aliens: LEAVE NOW.
If you do not leave, we will hunt you down, arrest you, and you could end up in this El Salvadorian prison.”

Disputes have also surfaced over whether all of the deportees met the threshold for removal.

Inside the prison, inmates are locked in crowded cells for 23.5 hours per day, only allowed 30 minutes of movement while chained in a hallway.

Cells are designed to hold up to 100 detainees, outfitted with 80 metal bunks, two toilets, and two sinks—without mattresses. Inmates are not allowed phone access, receive no visitors, and never go outdoors.

Each unit includes a separate, windowless cell for inmates deemed disruptive.

Leavitt reiterated that the president’s team is reviewing the legal feasibility of the move.

“The president has said if there is a legal pathway. He’s not sure. We’re not sure if there is. It’s an idea that he has simply floated.”

Liberal critics have strongly opposed the concept. In a dissenting opinion, Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote:

“The implication of the Government’s position is that not only noncitizens but also United States citizens could be taken off the streets, forced onto planes, and confined to foreign prisons with no opportunity for redress if judicial review is denied unlawfully before removal. History is no stranger to such lawless regimes, but this Nation’s system of laws is designed to prevent, not enable, their rise.”

Jocelyn Benson Contradicts Testimony to Congress, Admits at Least 15 Noncitizens Voted in 2024

“There is no evidence that noncitizens are voting,” Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson told Congress in September.

On Thursday, Benson announced that a total of at least 15 incidents of illegal voting occurred in Michigan during the 2024 General Election, based on a cross reference between Michigan motor vehicle records and the state’s Qualified Voter File. That review covered the vast majority of voters who cast ballots using their driver’s license or state ID, but omitted plenty of others who used a different form of identification, such as tribal or student IDs.

“This is a serious issue, one we must address with a scalpel, not a sledgehammer,” Benson said in a statement. “Only U.S. citizens can legally register and vote in our elections. Our careful review confirms what we already knew – that this illegal activity is very rare.

“While we take all violations of election law very seriously, this tiny fraction of potential cases in Michigan and at the national level do not justify recent efforts to pass laws we know would block tens of thousands of Michigan citizens from voting in future elections,” she said.

JD Vance Slams Media’s Deportation Narrative: “We Do What the American People Want”

JD Vance Slams Media's Deportation Narrative: "We Do What the American People Want"

Vice President JD Vance responded to the media’s narrative on the Trump administration’s handling of mass deportations after several networks reported an alleged innocent father being deported due to an administrative error.

During an appearance on Fox & Friends, Vance addressed the story of a Maryland father, Abrego Garcia, who had mistakenly been deported to El Salvador despite having protected legal status.

Unsurprisingly, the Democrats and media are now using the story to craft a narrative against Trump’s deportation operations.

However, that father was associated with the violent MS-13 gang, according to an immigration judge in 2019.

Vance weighed in on the revelation.

“Back in 2019, an immigration judge looked at all the evidence, looked at all the data, and concluded that this allegedly innocent person that we sent to El Salvador was actually a member of an MS-13 gang,” Vance explained.

“He had also committed some traffic violations. He had not shown up for some court dates.”

“This is not exactly Father of the Year here. This is a person that we don’t think should be in our country.”

Vance also noted that Democrats and the media have zero justification for Garcia being deported.

“This was unquestionably an illegal alien. This was unquestionably a person who broke the laws to get into our country,” Vance said.

“This is unquestionably a person an immigration judge found had zero right to be in the United States of America,” Vance continued.

“We do not ask permission from far-left Democrats before we deport illegal immigrants. We do the American people’s business.”

Watch:

The vice president also slammed Democrats for having a “weird” and “mistaken placement of priorities” when it came to defending illegals.

For instance, Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin demanded Trump return the recently deported Venezuelan gang members to the United States.

“I call on my colleagues to demand that the Trump Administration comply with all judicial orders while appealing whichever ones they want to appeal, and to demand the return of people unlawfully taken to El Salvador on that so-called plane full of ‘gang bangers,’” Raskin said on Tuesday.

Watch:

Vance said the deportation efforts are meant to make the country safer.

“We need to make our country stronger. We need to create jobs. We need to make our streets safer,” Vance told Jones.

“What is it about congressional Democrats that get more angry at deporting violent gang members than they do at the victims of those violent gang members.”

“I don’t even understand where they’re coming from. They’ve gone off the deep end, and they gotta come back to reality.”

Immigrants Argue That 2,100,000 Non-Citizens Getting Social Security Numbers Is Major Concern

Veroniksha / Tinseltown / Shutterstock.com

Legal immigrant Elon Musk and second-generation immigrant, Valor Equity Partner’s Antonio Gracias, went viral Sunday, for revealing that an estimated 2.1 million non-citizens received Social Security numbers in 2024, up from 270,000 in 2021.

A video shared on X showed Musk and Gracias on stage discussing the data at a 100-minute town hall in Green Bay, Wisconsin, ahead of today’s (April 1) state Supreme Court election, according to Business Insider.

“This isn’t political,” Gracias explained about the data, noting that his parents and siblings are all first-generation immigrant and that he is pro-legal immigration. The issue appeared to be within a process that allowed non-legal immigrants arriving over the northern and southern borders to apply to work permits and immediately receive a Social Security number without an interview or even showing a form of identification, MoneyControl reported.

How Did This System Work?

In order to fully understand how so many people received Social Security numbers in 2024, Gracias went to the border and spoke to border patrol. “I went to Laredo and I went to Bronzeville. Elon went to Eagle Pass. You walk up to a Border Patrol officer and you tell them you want to come in. They have a couple of choices. They could charge you with a misdemeanor or a felony under thirteen twenty-five or they can make an administrative offense like a parking ticket basically,” he explained.

“They were told to do that, make an administrative offense under the last administration. And you go walk across the border, they do what’s called a release your neurocognizance, and they give you an NTA, notice to appear, which appear to judge. The wait times on judges are like average six years, you’ll get GROC, you’ll see it on immigration judges. There’s only seven hundred of them. This is five point five million people,” Gracias continued.

“So what happens then? Once you’re in the country and you’ve got asylum through one of these pathways, we’ve mapped the whole thing out, you can apply for a work document. You file a seven sixty-five, it’s the work form. You get this form called the seven sixty-six, That’s the authorization. And then Social Security Administration automatically sends you in the mail your Social Security number. No interview. No ID.”

Criminal Issues

Human traffickers are estimated to have made $13 to $15 billion off the process described by Gracias, that money moving “around the world.” Much of this money came from those looking to come to the U.S. illegally who paid cartels to help them.

“There are thirty thousand children that have not appeared on the notice to appear already. ICE knows this. Thirty thousand children, two hundred and seventy thousand children didn’t even get notices to appear. ICE told us that kids are being trafficked back and forth across the border to complete families to make this easier. This is a human tragedy,” Gracias continued. He also noted that countless people likely died on their journey to the U.S.

“The tragedy the human tragedy this created is extraordinary. That’s the real problem. This is America. We don’t do this here in America. We don’t do this here in America. People come here legally, and that’s great. Elon came here legally. My parents came here legally. That’s the way to do it. This is outrageous.”

Political Concerns

Musk argued that this was allowed to happen because former President Joe Biden and his administration were “asleep,” allowing for “a massive large scale program to import as many illegals as possible, ultimately to change the entire voting map of the United States and disenfranchise the American people and make it a permanent, deep blue, one party state from which there would be no escape.”

He later added that the process constitutes what he considers “the biggest voter fraud thing in history by far.” Had the system been “left unchecked, it would have succeeded.”

“The voter ID requirement in this state is super important because of this. It’s a Social Security number. It’s not supposed to be a Federal ID number, but it basically is. That’s how you access all the benefits. This is why we need voter ID, because this thing is not secure,” Gracias argued. “You could walk into a Social Security office today, today as an adult America, and get a Social Security number enumerated with simply answering six or seven simple questions and showing some forms of ID that are not federal ID.”

Trump’s Mass Deportation Plan on Record Pace Despite District Judge Interference

Since President Donald Trump returned to the White House in January, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported over 100,000 individuals and made more than 113,000 arrests, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) source who spoke to The Post on Monday.

The surge in removals comes as part of President Trump’s renewed immigration enforcement strategy, which began immediately after his Jan. 20 inauguration.

On his first day in office, he declared a national emergency at the southern border, deployed thousands of troops, suspended the asylum system for those entering the country illegally, and launched a nationwide deportation effort.

“He’s doing what he was voted in to do. Point blank!” an ICE source told The Post.

ICE has reportedly reached full capacity in its detention facilities and is now asking Congress to approve funding for additional beds.

The request comes after ICE arrested 32,000 individuals in the first 50 days of the Trump administration’s mass deportation initiative.

Although officials have not released detailed information on how many of the detainees are convicted criminals or what their national origins are, sources believe that the majority of deportees are being sent to Mexico.

In addition to ramping up arrests and removals, President Trump has implemented measures targeting transnational criminal organizations.

One such move involved invoking the Alien Enemies Act, a rarely used statute dating back to the 18th century, to deport members of Venezuelan gangs without trial.

On Sunday night, 17 alleged gang members from Tren de Aragua and MS-13 were transferred in shackles to a high-security prison in El Salvador, despite a federal judge having blocked the use of the Alien Enemies Act earlier in the month.

Illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border have also dropped significantly.

DHS sources described the decline as “the Trump effect,” attributing the drop to the administration’s strict enforcement policies and emphasis on consequences for those entering the country illegally.

“Illegal entries into the United States are no longer a backdoor way to getting status,” a DHS source said.

In March, just under 7,000 illegal migrants crossed into the U.S., marking a 94% drop compared to the 137,000 who entered during the same month in 2024 under Joe Biden.

February also saw a sharp decline, with approximately 8,300 crossings—reportedly the lowest monthly total in at least 25 years.

“Everyone who is caught is charged and does time,” a DHS source stated.

“Migrants are scared there are consequences now.”

Most of the illegal crossings in recent weeks have occurred in the San Diego and El Paso border sectors, according to sources familiar with the data.

If the current pace continues, 2025 could see the lowest number of illegal border crossings since 1968.

President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies remain one of the defining issues of his administration, with ICE and DHS agencies moving swiftly to implement the directives.

As deportations continue to rise and border crossings decline, the administration has signaled it will continue pushing for greater resources to maintain and expand the current crackdown.

Dem Rep Rashida Tlaib Seems Upset That Terrorists Are Being Killed by Americans

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is facing bipartisan backlash after responding to reports of U.S. military airstrikes against Iran-backed Houthi militants in Yemen by criticizing the response to a national security leak rather than the actions of the armed group. The controversy stems from a Signal group chat reportedly used by top U.S. officials, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, to discuss classified details related to upcoming military strikes.

According to reports, Jeffrey Goldberg, editor of The Atlantic, was accidentally added to the chat, prompting immediate concern from lawmakers.

“This is an outrageous national security breach, and heads should roll,” Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA) told Axios, a quote relayed by reporter Andrew Solender on X.

Tlaib replied to Solender’s post, writing, “More heat for using a group chat than for the bombing itself.”

Her response drew swift criticism across political lines, particularly due to the nature of the U.S. airstrikes, which targeted Houthi operatives classified as a terrorist group.

Critics accused Tlaib of once again appearing to minimize or dismiss the threat posed by militant organizations.

“They’re bombing terrorists, Rashida,” Townhall editor Katie Pavlich wrote in response to Tlaib.

Former CNN anchor and current NewsNation host Chris Cuomo added, “You want them to attack more Americans?”

“I mean, yeah, because killing Iranian-backed jihadists is a good thing,” wrote Jerry Dunleavy, Chief Investigative Correspondent at Just the News.

President Donald Trump authorized the strikes earlier this month, citing a pattern of Houthi aggression in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden targeting U.S. and allied maritime and aerial assets.

“They have waged an unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American, and other, ships, aircraft, and drones,” Trump said.

“Joe Biden’s response was pathetically weak, so the unrestrained Houthis just kept going.”

“The Houthi attack on American vessels will not be tolerated,” Trump added.

“We will use overwhelming lethal force until we have achieved our objective.”

The Houthis, officially known as Ansar Allah, are a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization backed by the Iranian regime. They have been responsible for multiple attacks on civilian and military targets in the region, including U.S. ships, and have received global condemnation for their actions.

Rep. Tlaib has previously made headlines for controversial statements regarding foreign policy. In July 2023, she held up a sign in Congress reading “War Criminal” and “Guilty of Genocide” while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an address. Later that year, she was censured by the House for promoting Hamas propaganda and making inflammatory comments in the aftermath of the October 7 terror attacks in Israel.

In May 2023, Tlaib appeared at an art show featuring material that advocated for the elimination of Israel and glorified individuals linked to terrorism. Following the Hamas-led attack on Israel in October, she made a public statement amplifying false reports about an Israeli strike on a hospital — a claim that was later debunked.

Her comments were cited as contributing to unrest in Washington, D.C., where hundreds of protesters were arrested after entering federal buildings. The body of criticism directed at Rep. Tlaib continues to grow as lawmakers and commentators question her repeated alignment with extremist narratives.

The latest comments surrounding U.S. military action against the Houthis have renewed calls for disciplinary action in Congress.

Bernie Sanders Bends the Knee, Supports Trump’s Border Security: “Nobody Thinks Illegal Immigration Is Appropriate”

Senator Bernie Sanders has shocked everyone by supporting President Trump’s efforts to secure the border and curb illegal immigration. Sen. Sanders was responding to a question by This Week’s host Jonathan Karl, who asked him if Trump had, so far, done anything right.

“I think cracking down on fentanyl, making sure our borders are stronger,” Sanders replied.

“Look, nobody thinks illegal immigration is appropriate, and I happen to think we need comprehensive immigration reform, but I don’t think it’s appropriate for people to be coming across the border illegally.”

Sanders’ change of tune is surprising considering that he proposed giving taxpayer-funded health insurance for illegal immigrants.

Nonetheless, he opposed mass deportations, which he said would destroy the country. Trump has so far focused on removing dangerous criminals, including Tren de Aragua gang members and illegal aliens with a criminal history.

“He wants to deport 20 million people who are in this country who are undocumented,” Sanders said.

“Well, you do that, you destroy the entire country.”

“Because I got news for you, Trump’s billionaire friends are not going to pick the crops in California that feed us.”

“They’re not going to work in meatpacking houses,” he continued. “That’s what undocumented people are doing.”

Ironically, Democrats did not believe former President Obama’s deportations would affect crop picking. Hillary Clinton also ran on a secure border platform, which the Democrats did not believe (or pretend to believe) would affect food security at the time.

Recently, vocal anti-Trump Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett said Trump’s deportations were an attempt to bring back slavery by sending black people back to the fields.

“As they have decided to go after immigrants and these — and things like that, and they’ve said, ‘Oh, they’ve taken your black job, they’ve taken your black jobs,'” she said.

“Not really, they are obviously jobs that they want us to go back to, such as work in the fields, alright?”

“Those immigrants that come into our country, they work the fields, something that we ain’t done in a long time,” added Crockett. “And clearly, he is trying to make us go back to the fields.”

Another Democrat, Rep. Hank Johnson (GA) said Trump’s deportations return black Americans to the slavery and cotton-picking era.

“It puts us back to when America was ‘great,’ and we were picking cotton and doing the productivity that they’re putting my Latino brothers and sisters who migrate here to do that work because we are not suited intellectually to do it anymore.”

Meanwhile, while Sanders only approved Trump’s effort to secure the border, most Americans believe he was fulfilling his campaign promises.

According to a February 2025 CBS News/YouGov poll, more than two-thirds (70%) of Americans believe the president has kept his word.

On border security, 59 percent of Americans approved his deportation efforts, while 41 percent opposed it. Similarly, 64 percent of Americans supported the deployment of U.S. Troops to the southern border to curb illegal immigration and drug smuggling, compared to 36% who opposed the deployment.

Trump’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war also received the support of most Americans (54 percent), while 46 percent disapproved.

Other promises that Trump has delivered include banning men out of women’s sports, which 79 percent of Americans support, by signing the “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order.
