Illinois Gov. Confirms He’ll Try to Block Trump Immigration Agenda

The Democrat Gov. of Illinois pledged to block red state National Guard troops from carrying out raids against illegal immigration, saying it’s “just not something we’re going accept.”

Gov. J.B. Pritzker is one of several blue state leaders who’ve created the “Governors Safeguarding Democracy” (GSD) alliance in the wake of Donald Trump’s election. Trump’s appointment of Tom Homan as border czar has (fortunately) not helped to ease Democrat tension over the forthcoming administration’s plans to tackle illegal immigration. In fact, they’re more scared than ever before to see law and order enforced.

Illinois has one of the highest populations of illegal immigrants in the country, according to data from the Pew Research Center. It ranked 6th nationwide in 2022, with 400,000 illegal aliens making up around 5% of the state’s overall population. Government estimates of illegal aliens tend to be massive underestimates. For example, as the federal government estimated “only” 11 million illegals living in the U.S., one Yale study had the figure double that – and this was before the Biden administration and the border crisis that followed.

Pritzker defended the GSD alliance, referring to a recent 60 Minutes interview with Homan where he touched on the return of workplace raids. The Illinois Gov. said: “We also just want to make sure there isn’t a violation of people’s rights with raids that are done in coordination [with] local law enforcement. We think that’s improper and in Illinois, that’s not something that we would condone.”

One social media user noted Pritzker’s apparent shift in tone towards illegal aliens, having previously pleaded Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to stop sending illegals to his state.

Pritzker took out a full-page ad in the Austin American-Statesman newspaper, publishing a letter he sent to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. The letter urges Abbott to stop sending migrants to Chicago. 

“The next few days are a threat to the families and children you are sending here. I am pleading with you to at least pause these transports in order to save lives,” Pritzker wrote to his Texas counterpart. “I plead with you for mercy for the thousands of people who are powerless to speak for themselves. Please, while winter is threatening vulnerable people’s lives, suspend your transports and do not send more people to our state.”

He used winter as an excuse – but never expressed any enthusiasm for taking in those illegals during any other seasons.

Others were convinced that preventing National Guard troops from conducting enforcement would cut federal funding to the state.

There were also questions as to whether Pritzker’s opposition conflicted with the view of the country, and his state.

Eric Adams Scraps Controversial Migrant Food Voucher Program In Wake Of Election Result

New York City mayor Eric Adams has ended a controversial scheme in which the city’s migrants would be given vouchers in order to pay for food.

The scheme, launched in March 2024, provided non-citizens with pre-paid debit cards to purchase food. Since the program was launched, the city has provided more than $3.2 million in debit cards for more than 2,600 migrant families living in hotels.

Mayor Adams’ office said the “pilot program” would not be renewed following its one-year trial, with the city moving towards “more competitive contracting for asylum seeker programs.”

The decision comes in the wake of Donald Trump’s overwhelming victory in the 2024 Presidential Election. Adams, like Trump, has been criminally investigated by the federal government. When they were filed in Sept. 2024, Adams blamed the charges, which include bribery, conspiracy, fraud and two counts of soliciting illegal foreign campaign donations, on his opposition to the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of the border crisis.

Many on social media noted how the announcement came shortly after Trump’s resounding victory earlier this week.

Others believed that Adams may seek to form an alliance with the President-elect who is a New York native.

John Fetterman Stumbles After Joe Rogan Lays Out Democrat Plan To “Rig” Swing States

Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman couldn’t help but agree with podcast host Joe Rogan amid concerns that fast-tracked citizenship for new arrivals in the country could impact future elections.

For years Republicans have warned of a plot to relocate illegal immigrants to swing states, granting them citizenship (and thus voting rights). Everything we know about the demographics of illegal aliens tells us they’d vote Democrat if they could – and even the illegals who gained citizenship through the Ronald Reagan amnesty went on to overwhelmingly vote Democrat, so it’s not like they’d have party loyalty if Republicans granted them it instead.

Rogan noted these concerns on his podcast with Sen. Fetterman – the only Democrat to appear on the Joe Rogan Experience amid a flurry of Republican guests including Donald Trump. In a discussion over the controversial “bi-partisan border bill” which would have given amnesty to two million illegal aliens every year.

“[Republicans’] fear is exactly what I talked about, that these people will be moved to swing states and that that will be used to essentially rig those states and turn them blue forever,” the UFC commentator said.

Fetterman stumbled, calling for an “honest conversation.” However, before he could continue, Rogan interjected and noted the services illegal aliens would receive, thus making them fond of the Democrat-controlled government.

“You could see how you import 10 million people over the course of four years illegally and then move a significant number of them to swing states and then provide them with all these services and then give them a path to citizenship,” said Rogan. “You could essentially rig those states.”

Fetterman had little in the way of response, mustering, “Undeniably. Immigration is changing our nation. And I think it’s generally for a good.”

Many on social media felt that Sen. Fetterman had admitted something the left once described as a “great replacement” conspiracy.

Others said that the clip was a good example as to why Harris would not appear on Rogan’s podcast.

Bill Clinton Hints Laken Riley Would Still Be Alive Today If Kamala Harris Had Done Her Job

Bill Clinton admitted that 22-year-old Georgia student Laken Riley, who was allegedly killed by an illegal alien, would still be alive had they been “properly vetted.”

The former president was speaking in the swing state for Kamala Harris. In reference to a previous ad by Donald Trump’s campaign, Clinton spoke about the killing of Laken Riley, who prosecutors believe was slain by Venezuelan migrant José Antonio Ibarra.

Riley’s death in Feb. 2024 sparked widespread debate over illegal immigration, with heightened focus on Vice President Harris who had previously been tasked with securing the border by President Joe Biden.

Despite donning a Harris-Walz cap, Clinton admitted Democratic nominee’s failings on his trip to Georgia.

“If they’d all been properly vetted, [Riley’s death] probably wouldn’t have happened,” the former president admitted. “If they’re all properly vetted, that doesn’t happen, and America is not having enough babies to keep our population up. So, we need immigrants that have been vetted to do work, and [then] there wouldn’t be a problem.”

Many felt that Clinton had become the latest Democrat to endorse former president Trump.

Others noted that the Democrats had changed their position on immigration since Clinton’s presidency.

Thing That Never Happens Happening in Maine: Illegals Voting

Let’s list some of the things that the media and Democrat establishment says there’s “no evidence” for. All of these things are actually true, and backed up by the evidence the left claims doesn’t exist. 

  • That the “Russian collusion” Democrats claim Donald Trump engaged in with the 2016 election is just a hoax. Hell, Hillary Clinton arranged for the “Steele Dossier” to be compiled, with its lewd and ludicrous allegations against Trump. 
  • That presidential son Hunter Biden’s laptop was filled with video, images, and records showing Hunter doing hard drugs and frolicking with prostitutes. Twitter banned the country’s oldest newspaper, the New York Post, from the entire platform simply for publishing an investigation. All mainstream media refused to cover the story, or blatantly lied, claiming it was “disinformation.” It was not. All of it was true. 
  • That there were zero election irregularities in 2020, there’s no evidence at all, not even a little tiny bit, that even one vote was not properly accounted for. But, of course, there’s more than enough evidence of electoral shenanigans to justify investigations that will never happen. 

That’s what we’re told by the left: “there’s no evidence.” There’s no evidence for any wrongdoing on the part of any Democrat ever, and nothing a Republican suspects is ever true and it must never be investigated. This is just a lie. It is not a disagreement. It is not a “differing interpretation.” It is a brazen, deliberate lie. 

Being a conservative in 2024 is to be constantly frustrated by the predictable revelations about Democrat malfeasance. Sooner or later, the truth comes out, and the skullduggery they all assured us never took place turns out to have taken place. But by the time we learn about it, it’s a “non-story.” Neither the Democrat establishment nor the mainstream media (entirely leftist) ever have to apologize. They never pay any consequences. 

It appears the same dynamic is starting again in the state of Maine. LibsofTikTok brings us this news:

The newish reporting outlet Maine Wire did the work. They found evidence in government documents that illegal aliens were fraudulently billing Medicaid (that’s your tax dollars). But they also found that some of these illegal aliens were registered to vote. Worse, these aliens cast ballots in elections, for Democrats, naturally.

Records show the legal and illegal aliens billing Medicaid, known in Maine as MaineCare, for hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expenses. They were provided to the Maine Wire by a whistleblower concerned about potentially fraudulent billing practices at a healthcare provider in Maine.

When the identities of the 18 legal and illegal aliens named in the records were cross-referenced with voting records from the Maine Secretary of State, six of the individuals were registered to vote, five had voted in elections since 2016, and all were registered Democrats.

The individuals range in age from 35 to 74. According to SSN-Check.org, they received their social security numbers at ages ranging from 16 to 58. Four of the individuals received their social security numbers in Maine, while one received their number in Georgia and another received theirs in California.

Let’s see if people on X/Twitter believe this constitutes “no evidence” of illegal alien voter fraud benefiting Democrats.

4% of Haiti’s Entire Population Has Entered U.S. Under Biden-Harris – And That’s Not All

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have been importing an astonishing number of third-world Haitians into the country. That’s right. The administration has been actively arranging and paying for Haitian “migrants” to fly into the U.S. More on this below, but first, we need to prepare the ground. 

It’s astonishing reading news articles in 2024 to prepare for an article like this one you’re reading on Wokespy. Yours truly was a working newspaper reporter about 25 years ago during the very last period in which news organizations still believed, at least partially, in reporting the facts, not editorializing with a political slant. Not so now. In preparing another article about the allegations by Springfield, Ohio residents who claim Haitians are stealing ducks and geese (and household pets) from local parks and neighborhoods, I could not find one story that didn’t sound like a press release from the Democratic National Committee. 

Every single headline and lead sentence said something like, “Vance and Trump repeat baseless claims,” or “Vance claims cats getting eaten without evidence.” There’s a big problem: these claims are not baseless, and it is not true that there is “no evidence.” There is plenty of evidence, and it is the same kind of evidence introduced in actual court proceedings: eyewitness testimony and police reports.

Yet even liberal mainstream media cannot deny every fact. Take this article from Newsweek. The angle is to big up the Biden administration, and Kamala Harris, for an alleged 70 percent drop in illegal border crossings recently. But read carefully. The drop only came after Biden was forced to take action after pressure from Republicans furious at the millions of illegals the administration is welcoming into the U.S. with no vetting. And the drop wouldn’t have been so large in percentage terms if the Biden-Harris admin didn’t let border crossings explode in the first place.

Buried deep in the Newsweek article is this bit of truth. It’s a quote from Customs and Border Patrol: “Through the end of August 2024, nearly 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans arrived lawfully on commercial flights and were granted parole under these processes.”

That’s right. Half a million “migrants” “arrived lawfully” on “commercial flights.” Half a million got a free plane ticket to the U.S. Does any of this sound sane?

There’s another way to look at the numbers that may wake some people up to what’s going on. X (Twitter) user “datahazard” has compiled a chart showing the percentage of each foreign country’s population that has been whisked into the United States.

We’ve brought in six percent of the populations of Nicaragua, Cuba, and Honduras, plus four percent of Haiti’s population. Let’s see what social media users had to say.

Debra’s post highlights something new, too. Every U.S. state is now a “border state.” It used to be that Texas, Arizona, and California got most of the illegals. But even up here in your faithful correspondent’s northeast state of Vermont, you can literally see the population changing by the week as spanish-Speaking “migrants” show up in greater numbers (most of them speak no English, and most of them are single young men).

Kamala Harris Chants “Down With Deportation” In Resurfaced Video

A newly resurfaced video of then-Sen. Kamala Harris in which she chants “down with deportation” has gone viral.

The clip, obtained by the Daily Mail, dates back to 2018 and features Harris alongside husband Doug Emhoff and disgraced hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett. It stems from an annual parade set up to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. which has since been hijacked by Los Angeles leftists.

In the video, Harris – who announced her presidential campaign the following year – chanted “up, up with education; down, down with deportation” alongside several others wearing a “Times Up!” t-shirt.

Former actor Smollett was also featured in the clip, who would later be found guilty of a hate crime hoax in which he claimed two men in MAGA hats attempted to lynch him. Before being thoroughly debunked, the now-Vice President posted about the “attack” on “one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know”.

“This was an attempted modern-day lynching,” she wrote in a still publicly available tweet about Smollett. “No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.”

Many conservatives mocked Harris shortly after the clip was posted online.

Other commentors noted other standpoints Harris may try to distance herself from now that she has a shot at the White House.
