Furious Stephen Miller Demands Reparations for All Americans Harmed by Unchecked Illegal Immigration

United States Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller has identified the right group of Americans who are rightly entitled to reparations for harms resulting from bad government policies.

Over the years, the debate has ignited strong emotions from the left that believe children of former slaves were entitled to reparations based on race alone. U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass) even sponsored House Bill H.R. 40, dubbed the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act.

However, Miller threw a new wrench in the works by making a strong case for reparations for all Americans who have endured the negative effects of uncontrolled illegal immigration, whose harms, he said, could take more than a lifetime to enumerate.

Appearing on Newsmax, Miller responded to arguments that the deported alleged MS-13 gang member, Kilmer Abrego Garcia, should receive $1 million in daily compensation for each day he spent in his home country of El Salvador after Trump’s deportation.

“Where is compensation for Americans… where do they go to get their reparations?” Miller asked.

He listed various groups of Americans harmed by the former administration’s open borders policy. They include millions of schoolgoing children who can no longer learn to read and write because their schools need hundreds of translators to cater to non-English speaking learners, disrupting the entire learning process.

“We had an entire generation of Americans, multiple generations, in fact, have been robbed of educational opportunities,” Miller lamented.

Others qualifying for reparations due to unchecked illegal immigration include city residents who can no longer access basic services that have been overstretched by illegal immigrants. Urban dwellers who also have endured increased crime and have been internally displaced when foreign gangs, like Tren de Aragua, take over cities and apartment buildings, are also entitled to reparations.

“Entire cities. Look at Los Angeles…once a paradise of safety, security and prosperity, entire neighborhoods occupied and controlled by foreign gangs,” he added. “Where do all the residents who have been displaced, who have been forced out of Los Angeles? Where do they go to get their reparations?”

Similarly, victims of the immigration-fueled fentanyl crisis and angel parents of children killed by illegal aliens. Recently, Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen faced backlash after making grand gestures in support of the deported alleged MS-gang member while barely acknowledging one of the angel moms in his backyard.

At least 6 illegal immigrants, including an El Salvadoran national, have been convicted or accused of murder in Maryland, while over 13,000 alien murderers countrywide are living outside ICE detention. Maryland also peaked in fentanyl-related deaths in 2021 when Biden took over, with “Black individuals, males, and adults aged 31–60” mostly affected.

“What about the victims of fentanyl poisoning brought in by Democrats’ open border, hundreds of thousands of moms and dads whose kids are dead and buried in the ground,” Miller continued. “Where do they go to get their reparations from the government, and then all the women who have been raped, who’ve been beated, who’ve been murdered.”

Ironically, the Democratic martyr was twice accused of domestic violence by his American wife and slapped with a restraining order.

“[What about] All the dads who’ve been shot dead and our home? All the police officers who have been slain by illegal aliens in ambush attacks in the line of duty?” Miller asked.

Others include hundreds of thousands of childrens trafficked into the country, raped and assulted during the process and placed with unvetted guardians who could be their traffickers. According to Miller, all Americans are entitled to reparations due to decades of illegal immigration that have robbed the country of its wealth, prosperity, and security.

“We can spend the rest of our lives trying to document those harms,” he added.

“Where does our whole country go to get repaid for all of the wealth, all of the prosperity and security that has been stolen from us by decades of uncontrolled, illegal mass migration? Because we all deserve reparations…for what has been stolen from us.”

Ironically, Democrats do not demand compensation for scores of Americans illegally kidnapped and held in foreign hellhole prisons, including those still captured in Gaza by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas, without due process. Additionally, Democrats have been fighting to prevent the deportation of pro-Hamas demonstration organizers, who have declared war on Western civilization.

Maryland Senator Flies to El Salvador to Soothe Poor Scared Gangbanger

As you know, in 2025 America it’s normal to care infinitely about the wellbeing of illegal aliens who jump our border, but to care nothing at all about the safety of Americans. Democrat politicians have been falling over themselves for years bellyaching about “due process” for third-worlders who respect our country so little that they sneak in and then complain about the quality of the free food America gives them.

We’ve watched while leftist politicians go to bat for the scum of the third world while our wives, daughters, and sisters are raped and murdered by these “guests.” But the ante has been upped by Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, who is allegedly so moved by the plight of Kilmar Abrego Garcia that Van Hollen flew to El Salvador to visit him. Abrego Garcia is the Salvadoran national–he was illegally in the U.S.–deported last week to El Salvador amid a flurry of conflicting court rulings and interpretations.

Two immigration courts in the past found that the man was a member of the international criminal gang MS13 and was eligible to be deported. At some point, another court ruled at the time that he could not be deported to his home country of El Salvador for fear that the gang he belonged to there would hurt him. That gang, which is different from MS13, no longer exists in El Salvador.

Abrego Garcia ended up back in El Salvador after the federal government deported him, which set off a round of absolute hysteria among Democrat politicians about “due process.” Maryland’s Van Hollen took it farther than anyone by getting on a plane to El Salvador and demanding that the Salvadoran government let him meet with the deportee. After being rebuffed twice, Van Hollen ended up sitting down with Abrego Garcia somewhere, though it is unclear how this happened, and where the deportee is being incarcerated.

See how concerned and paternal Van Hollen looks? The Maryland Senator made sure to tell the U.S. press that Abrego Garcia was “traumatized.”

It gets even more unbelievable. Abrego Garcia’s wife, Jennifer, who is tearfully pleading for his return and calling him a loving husband and father, filed court papers against her husband several years ago alleging domestic violence against him. It’s not clear why she is now so supportive of his return. For a time in 2021, Jennifer Garcia had a protective order against her husband.

All of that appears to be news to Senator Chris Van Hollen, who could not even identify Jennifer at a press conference. Watch him call out her name and look around in bewilderment as the woman realizes he doesn’t even know who she is.

Oh yes, X/Twitter users had some commentary:

And take a look at this picture of  Van Hollen and Abrego Garcia in El Salvador, with humorous captions added. Does this look like a prison to you?

President Donald Trump is not letting this go. He reminded the American public on social media that Abrego Garcia is not a “Maryland father” as the media insists, but a foreign national gangbanger:

Naturally, liberals feel very tenderly toward the violent and non-American:

There are none so blind as those who have decided that they will not see:

Border Czar Tom Homan Flattens CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Live TV

Image Credit:© Thomas Bender / Sarasota Herald-Tribune / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Tom Homan, the border czar under President Donald Trump, appeared on CNN Thursday night and strongly refuted claims made by host Kaitlan Collins regarding the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a known MS-13 gang member, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The tense exchange followed renewed media criticism after Abrego Garcia was deported to El Salvador despite past court rulings and legal challenges.

WASHINGTON D.C., USA – FEBRUARY 4, 2025: Kaitlan Collins speaks ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump news conference in the East Room of the White House.

Abrego Garcia illegally entered the United States in 2011. According to the Trump administration, two separate court rulings confirmed his membership in the violent transnational MS-13 gang.

Those rulings formed the basis for his classification as both an illegal alien and a designated foreign terrorist, prompting his removal from the United States.

In 2019, an immigration judge allowed Abrego Garcia to remain in Maryland due to safety concerns if returned to El Salvador.

However, since then, conditions in El Salvador have shifted significantly, and President Nayib Bukele has launched a nationwide crackdown on gang violence, leading to the near-eradication of MS-13 in the country.

Despite the immigration judge’s 2019 ruling, the Trump administration proceeded with deportation, citing updated security assessments and Abrego Garcia’s designation as a terrorist.

A subsequent ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court directed the administration to “facilitate” his return to the U.S., following pressure from lower courts, including an Obama-appointed judge who urged federal authorities to not only facilitate but “effectuate” the return.

El Salvador, however, has refused to comply. President Bukele has publicly stated that he will not allow Abrego Garcia to return to the United States, and the gang member remains in Salvadoran custody.

During the CNN interview, Collins relied on the 2019 immigration ruling to criticize the administration’s actions. She asked Homan:

“What would you say to those who worry that the stance of this administration is that if someone is deported by accident, they have no responsibility once they’re in the custody of a foreign government?”

Homan responded:

“He’s in the custody of El Salvador; he’s an El Salvadoran national… The El Salvadoran president has made it clear he’s not going to release him.”

He also reiterated that the Department of Justice is handling the ongoing legal battle, and that future developments will be decided by the courts.

Collins pressed further, citing the 2019 ruling as evidence that Abrego Garcia’s deportation was improper.

“Even though it was an immigration judge that said the one place he can’t go is El Salvador, he could have been deported literally anywhere else…”

Homan quickly responded:

“We keep going back and back… That was years ago, the country was different. That gang no longer exists in El Salvador.”

The interview ended with no resolution but highlighted the ongoing conflict between the judiciary, the executive branch, and international partners over immigration enforcement involving foreign nationals tied to terrorism and organized crime.

Grabbed, Punched, Ripped off Her Shirt: New Evidence on MS-13 Gang Member Deported to El Salvador

More details on the alleged MS-13 gang member deported to a hellhole prison in El Salvador, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who the Democrats fondly refer to as the “Maryland father,” have emerged.

It turns out that Garcia was not the model citizen and shining example of a family man as the Democrats would want you to believe. Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez, whom he married in 2019 while still waiting for his deportation proceedings, has requested two protective orders against him for alleged domestic abuse.

The first order was allegedly taken in 2020, closely followed by another in 2021, which was confirmed by the Department of Homeland Security.

“Kilmar Abrego Garcia had a history of violence and was not the upstanding “Maryland Man” the media has portrayed him as,” the DHS posted on X.

“According to court filings, Garcia’s wife sought a domestic violence restraining order against him, claiming he punched, scratched, and ripped off her shirt, among other harm.”

In 2021, the court granted the protective order directing Garcia to vacate his wife’s residence after determining that he had “punched and scratched” and “ripped off the shirt, grabbed, and bruised” her.

The protective order also prohibited Garcia from entering the residence, contacting, or attempting to contact his wife. The alleged MS-13 gang member was also prohibited from contacting his wife’s mother or entering her residence.

In December 2022, Garcia was also stopped by the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) while transporting seven individuals from Texas to Maryland in a car without a valid driver’s license. According to The Tennessee Star, an officer at the scene reported that the El Salvador native was involved in human trafficking.

The outlet cited two sources disclosing that THP officers discovered that either Garcia or one of the individuals being transported was on the terror watch list. They contacted the FBI under former Director Christopher Wray and were instructed to take pictures of the eight individuals.

“Once the photographs were captured, this source told The Star that the FBI requested THP release all eight individuals and that the THP officers complied with this request,” the Tennessee Star reported.

Meanwhile, as Democrats continue to push for Garcia’s return to the U.S., El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has ruled out smuggling him back to the country.

“I don’t have the power to return him to the United States. How could I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? Of course, I’m not going to do it. The question is preposterous,” President Buleke said.

Additionally, Democrats’ trip to El Salvador to show solidarity with the alleged MS-13 gang member ended in a disaster after they were denied access to the high-security prison. The trip was clearly an insult to the people of El Salvador by politicians who seemingly believe they are above the laws of any country.

The group, led by Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, had vowed to free the “Maryland Father,” illegally “kidnapped” and deported by the Trump administration.

Nonetheless, Garcia’s immigration status is not in dispute, as he was born in El Salvador and entered the United States illegally in 2011 at the age of 16.

In 2019, he was “arrested in the company of other ranking gang members,” and “evidence show[ed] that [Abrego Garcia] is a verified member of MS-13,” according to a DHS filing.

A judge granted him a “withholding of removal” order, stating that he could not be deported to El Salvador for safety concerns due to alleged gang threats, but suggesting that he could be deported to a safe third country.

Since then, El Salvador has become one of the most peaceful countries in the Western Hemisphere, after President Nayib Bukele cleared all the gangs from the streets.

Maryland Senator Flies to El Salvador to Beg for Criminal To Bring Back to US

If the past 10 years hasn’t been enough to convince people that Democrat politicians have literally lost their minds and their souls, then the latest from Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen may do the trick. At issue is a man the media insists on describing only as a “Maryland man.” He is not merely, or even really, a “Maryland man.”

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an El Salvador citizen who has been in the US illegally for years before being deported back to El Salvador by the Trump administration. Why was he deported? Because he was here illegally, but also because two immigration courts agreed with border officials that he was part of the infamous international and violent MS-13 gang.

Over the past few weeks the Trump administration and the activist federal courts have been tussling over Garcia. Federal courts have tried to stop the Trump administration from deporting foreign aliens, including Garcia. Some claim Garcia was here “legally” although he’s an illegal (no, it can’t be made to make sense), and judge James Boasberg is hopping mad that the executive branch did not obey his probably-extra-legal order to turn planes around in mid-air and bring illegals back to the U.S.

Whatever the true details of this fine legal wrangling, it boils down to this: The Democrats and the courts are moving heaven and earth to bring back to the U.S. an El Salvadoran man who is in El Salvador. There isn’t any way to look at this and come up with any legal or moral framework that makes sense.

In comes Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, whose heart so bleeds for Garcia that he, Van Hollen, got on a plane to El Salvador in hopes of talking the country’s president into releasing Garcia back to the United States. Yes, really.

You’ve got to hand it to Van Hollen; he has chutzpah. Here he is in front of microphones demanding that El Salvador’s president Naybi Bukele give Garcia, an El Salvador citizen, to him to take back to the U.S.!

El Salvador, in more diplomatic language, told the senator to piss off.

Let’s see what the American public had to say on X.

This one’s brutal and funny.

Piers Morgan Deconstructs the Left over Alleged Pro-Hamas Organizer Mahmoud Khalil’s Deportation

Talk Show host Piers Morgan demolished the radical left by calling them out over their hypocrisy in defending the alleged pro-Hamas organizer fighting deportation.

Mahmoud Khalil is accused of helping pro-Hamas agitators at Columbia University and Barnard College campuses in the aftermath of the October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks. He currently holds a green card, but an immigration judge recently ruled that he could be removed from the country. Khalil’s lawyer says he will appeal, and the individual has until April 23 to apply for asylum.

Appearing on Bill Maher’s “Real Time” program, Morgan pointed out that the left would have responded differently if a white individual had organized pro–white supremacy protests in the same manner as the alleged pro-Hamas activist.

“All right, what if I was a young student at Columbia, there on a green card, British, come in, happy to be here, doing my paperwork, get to Columbia, and I start leading a group which is a bunch of white supremacists, and we start terrorizing black students in the way that they are terrorizing Jewish students,” he stated.

“In that circumstance, would we all be as comfortable with this? Or is it the reality, which was exposed by the mobs at Columbia, which is that for some reason, Jews get treated differently to anybody else when it comes to this kind of thing?”

According to Morgan, if a white immigrant had targeted Black students in the same way pro-Hamas agitators allegedly organized by Khalil were targeting Jewish students, they would be removed almost immediately, and the Left would not raise eyebrows.

Similarly, Morgan pointed out that if the pro-Hamas activist had openly expressed his radical views during his green card interview, his request likely would have been denied.

“What about if he had said all of this at his green card interview? Would he have got a green card? No. If he said, ‘I support a prescribed terror group in the United States,’ you’re not coming in on a green card,” Morgan asked.

“But the idea that he would have said, ‘I support Hamas. I support a global intifada. I support the destruction of Western civilization. Now give me a green card to come and live in America.’  F*** off!”

The alleged pro-Hamas sympathizer incident is hardly the first in which Democrats are showing their double standards. Recently, a group of Democrats said they plan to visit an alleged MS-13 gang member deported to El Salvador in a show of solidarity. Trump has designated MS-13 and Tren de Aragua as “foreign terrorist organizations.”

“Kilmar [Abrego Garcia] was illegally ABDUCTED and deported by the Trump Admin. He must be brought home NOW.”

Yet, the same Democrats hardly join the grieving families of victims killed by illegal immigrants and violent gangs. Biden even apologized for calling the Laken Riley killer an “illegal” immigrant. Similarly, all but seven Senate Democrats voted against the Laken Riley Act, which aims to prevent more murders by illegal immigrants.

Once again, Democrats prove that illegal immigrants, terrorist sympathizers, and criminals have more rights and are more desirable than law-abiding American citizens.

Stephen Miller Torches Van Hollen for Backing Deported Illegal Alien “Terrorist”

Democratic lawmakers are drawing sharp criticism from Trump administration officials after Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen publicly defended a deported illegal migrant from El Salvador, prompting a broader debate over the Democrat Party’s alignment with individuals removed under criminal deportation orders.

On Tuesday, Sen. Van Hollen announced that he was preparing to travel to El Salvador to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a previously deported migrant who had been living in Maryland.

“I’m flying to El Salvador tomorrow morning to check on his condition and discuss his return,” Van Hollen said in a statement.

The senator added that Garcia “shouldn’t have to spend another second away from his family [in Maryland],” igniting a backlash from Trump administration officials who emphasized Garcia’s legal status and prior deportation order.

“Senator Van Hollen seems to be under the very confused impression that this MS-13 terrorist is his constituent,” said Stephen Miller, senior advisor to President Donald Trump and chief architect of the administration’s immigration policy.

“He is [El Salvador] President Nayib Bukele’s constituent… He is not a ‘Maryland man.’ He is not a Maryland anything,” Miller stated. “He is an illegal alien from El Salvador with a deportation order from the United States.”

Miller added that Garcia’s presence in the United States was already determined to be unlawful by a judge, saying, “Under the Due Process that these Democrats so venerate for illegal invaders, it is legally impermissible for him to have one more minute in this country. So we honor the law and obey the law by getting him out of this country.”

The Trump advisor warned that Democrats’ public defense of individuals with gang affiliations could carry political consequences.

“If the entire Democrat Party was to work itself into a state of emotional hysteria to demand the return of illegal gang members and terrorists to our shores, then that 21 percent [polling support] will soon be 15 [percent] and then will be 11 [percent] and then all they will have left will be actual, confirmed MS-13 members.”

Polling data continues to show widespread support for President Trump’s immigration policies.

According to a Breitbart News report published April 15, 74 percent of voters support the deportation of illegal aliens who have committed crimes.

Additionally, 70 percent support closing the southern border, with only 30 percent opposing the measure.

Despite public opinion, Democrats have continued to pressure immigration authorities and elevate cases like Garcia’s. Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), himself a former illegal immigrant, has pledged to join Van Hollen’s trip to El Salvador.

Garcia’s case initially drew attention due to a 2019 deportation order that was temporarily paused by a judge who cited potential threats from gangs in El Salvador.

However, with President Bukele’s administration undertaking an aggressive crackdown on gang activity — including the detainment of thousands of gang members in the high-security CECOT prison — immigration officials under President Trump argue that the original rationale for delaying the deportation is no longer valid.

ABC News and other media outlets have described Garcia as a “Maryland man,” prompting pushback from Homeland Security officials.

DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin responded by mocking the characterization, reinforcing that Garcia is a foreign national without legal standing in the United States.

The Biden-era narrative around immigration has continued to clash with the renewed enforcement policies of the Trump administration.

The White House has used the moment to highlight ongoing deportation efforts under President Trump, stating in a recent social media post:

“Brutal killers and rapists— all taken off our streets in just the past week thanks to the tireless work of ICE. If Democrats and the media had their way, they would still be roaming free.”

The statement was followed by a list of recent arrests involving illegal immigrants with violent criminal records.

The Trump administration has also expanded diplomatic agreements with several countries to expedite the return of illegal migrants, particularly in cases where prior home-country resistance had stalled deportation efforts.

As the immigration debate intensifies, the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia is emerging as a new flashpoint — with Trump officials casting it as a test of law and order, and Democrats presenting it as a humanitarian issue.

Trump Unveils Plan to Pay Illegals to Self-Deport: “We’ll Work to Bring the Good Ones Back”

Trump Unveils Plan to Pay Illegals to Self-Deport: “We’ll Work to Bring the Good Ones Back”

President Donald Trump has revealed new plans to get illegal aliens to self-deport from the United States without disrupting specific economic sectors.

During an interview with Fox News‘s Rachel Campos-Duffy, Trump reiterated his support for legal immigration while announcing plans to fund illegals’ departure before America will “work with them to get them back in as quickly as we can.”

“We’re gonna give them a stipend. We’re gonna give them some money and a plane ticket, and then we’re gonna work with them — if they’re good — if we want them back in, we’re gonna work with them to get them back in as quickly as we can,” Trump said.

During the interview, Trump was shown a clip of a Mexican national who made a life for himself and his American-born children after illegally entering the United States 20 years earlier.

“I look at this man. I say, this is a guy that we want to keep,” Trump told Campos-Duffy.

“I’ll probably take heat for saying it.”

The man had voiced support for Trump’s re-election, though he could not vote, and even agreed with the President’s deportation efforts.

Trump responded to his own question about whether the man was slated for deportation and told Campos-Duffy, “No, he didn’t say that. Good … I don’t think he’s in any danger of it.”

“We’re doing a self-deportation, and we’re going to make it comfortable for people,” Trump said.

“And we’re going to work with those people to come back into our country legally,” explained the commander-in-chief.

“If a farmer can give recommendations to people … we’re gonna be very soothing in terms of, perhaps, letting that farmer … take responsibility,” he expressed after also bringing up hotels.

Watch:

Trump reminded that expelling violent criminals remained the administration’s primary objective.

The news came after a Maryland jury convicted 24-year-old Salvadoran national Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez of the kidnap, rape, and murder of Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old mother of five children.

“Moments ago, the Illegal Criminal, who was allowed into our Country by Crooked Joe Biden, was convicted of the heinous murder of Rachel Morin,” the president posted on Truth Social.

“Rachel was a beautiful mother of five from Maryland, and her life was taken at the hands of a monster who should have NEVER been here in the first place.”

“The Fake News should be focusing on the beautiful life and tragic death of this Maryland Mother, rather than the so-called ‘Maryland Father,’ who is actually an MS-13 Gang Member and Foreign Terrorist from El Salvador,” added Trump.

“We will never forget Rachel Morin, and are committed to protecting women like her across our Country. We will deport Illegal Murderers, Rapists, and Criminals. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

INSANE: Gov. Newsom Blows Another $2.8 Billion to Save Free Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants

California Governor Gavin Newsom has spent $2.8 billion to bail out the state’s Medicaid program, Medi-Cal, which is overstretched by illegal immigrants. Last month, Newsom had requested another loan of $3.4 billion to cover the ailing program’s $6.2 billion deficit.

The new funding will only cover medical expenses for 15 million beneficiaries, including 1.6 million illegal immigrants, until June.

The number of illegal immigrants living in California is estimated to be about 3 million (2.6 million in 2022, according to DHS), suggesting that over half were receiving free healthcare.

Additionally, the cost of covering them has increased from the projected $6 billion to $8.4 billion for the fiscal year 2024–2025. However, the cost will fall slightly for the next fiscal year to $7.4. Trump’s deportations could also significantly reduce the cost.

Newsom had previously boasted that the deep blue state could provide healthcare for everyone regardless of their immigration status due to certain cost-cutting budget reconciliation measures and strategic investment.

“With these new investments, California will become the first state to achieve universal access to health care coverage,” he said.

“We’re investing California’s historic surplus to accomplish transformative changes we’ve long dreamed of — including this historic Medi-Cal expansion to ensure thousands of older undocumented Californians, many of whom have been serving on the front lines of the pandemic, can access critical health care services,” he added.

The program officially launched in January 2024, although the Golden State has been offering free healthcare for illegal immigrants up to 26 years of age since 2019. During its launch, Newsom lauded Medi-Cal as “a major milestone in the state’s progress toward universal health coverage.”

However, the free coverage for illegal immigrants comes at a cost, as many Californians are forced to compete with noncitizens for the same resources, leading to poor coverage.

Subsequently, Californian Republican lawmakers have questioned the program’s sustainability and criticized state Democrats for prioritizing illegal immigrants over legal residents.

“Just now, Senate Democrats rubber-stamped another $3 BILLION for Newsom’s free healthcare for illegal immigrants—on top of the $9.5 billion already spent,” tweeted California Republican state Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones.

“Meanwhile, healthcare access is plummeting. Wait times are growing. Democrats have made their choice: legal residents come second. We must stop new enrollments of illegal immigrants and rein in this unsustainable program before it collapses entirely.”

Others, such as Assemblyman Carl DeMaio (R-75), have called for Gov. Newsom to be investigated for potential Medicaid fraud.

“AUDIT NEWSOM! I’ve officially requested an investigation into Gavin Newsom’s Medi-Cal scandal. He’s bankrupted the program by giving $10B in free healthcare to illegal immigrants—and there’s strong evidence he illegally tried to get federal Medicaid reimbursements.”

California has a $68 billion budget deficit, largely caused by a shortfall in revenue as many taxpayers continue to flee the state and are replaced by illegal immigrants.

While the Golden State experienced net negative domestic migration (-239,575), its population increased slightly (+0.6), bolstered by international migration (+361,057), which includes illegal immigration.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins: Why Did the U.S. Deport an Illegal Gang Member?

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins does not like conservatives, Republicans, or Donald Trump. Note one bit. Collins has difficulty presenting any stories featuring Trump without telegraphing her disdain through irrelevant, needling questions, and sour looks on her face while in the anchor chair.

The two got a chance to face each other in person during a meeting Trump held in the Oval Office, before the press, with El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele. Bukele is known for his tough on crime stance; he launched a hard crackdown on drug gangs on other criminals in 2020 which sent the crime rate in his country plummeting. The contrast with the then-Biden administration’s weakness—many would call it encouragement—toward lawlessness could not have been starker. While violent crimes like murders decreased in 2023, that was compared to a surge during 2021 that Democrats would like to attribute to “the pandemic,” but that tracks with the administration’s turning a blind eye to lawlessness like the BLM riots in 2020 that resulted in dozens of deaths and $2 billion in property damage.

Trump and Bukele have been working together to deal with violent gang members who illegally jump the U.S. border. The deal between the U.S. and El Salvador allows the U.S. to ship these criminals to El Salvador where they’ll go to prison, in exchange for American money.

What’s got many Americans riled is the news that an illegal alien deported from the U.S. to El Salvador, Abrego Garcia, who a court ruled was improperly deported. The judge ordered the U.S. to “facilitate” Garcia’s return. Countering this, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Garcia is an illegal alien whom immigration courts had already determined was a member of the international MS-13 gang.

That’s what the oval office fight was about. CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked the president what he was going to do about getting Abrego Garcia out of a Salvadoran prison. Trump advisor Stephen Miller said the U.S. could not tell El Salvador what to do with a non-U.S. citizen in his country’s custody. Miller called the very idea “arrogant,” and dressed down Collins and the U.S. media.

Prolific X user Collin Rugg has video of the exchange:

Miller reiterated that Garcia was illegally in the U.S., and that he’s a known member of a violent international gang. Collins kept pressing, asking if the administration “was saying” that it wouldn’t ask for Garcia’s return. He noted that a recent Supreme Court decision allowed the U.S. to deport Garcia again, in the future, if El Salvador, “in its sole discretion,” returned the man to the U.S. Spoiler: El Salvador is not going to do that.

Collins seemed to have trouble understanding that the U.S. can’t demand that El Salvador return its own citizen. It is unclear why she and other members of the left would want a Salvadoran gang member back in America.

The response from X users was pretty unanimous, with most people saying that Collins lost this one badly.
