Kam Kam Brings Back Her Fake Southern Accent

Readers, set down for a spell wid me, y’hear?

Oh, sorry—got caught up in the down-home authenticity of Kamala Harris on the campaign trail. People talk about the word salad she usually serves, but there’s something off about the dressing, too.

What is her accent? How many does she have? And which one is real?

These are not easy questions to answer. Depending on where she is and who she’s talking to, Kamala Harris can sound like a typical Millennial corporate girl-boss who thinks vocal fry makes her sound serious, or like she’s trying out for a pancake syrup commercial in old Dixie.

You could hear it in her recent softball interview with CNN’s Dana Bash (also with her security blanket, running mate Tim Walz). Harris alternated between the low-pitched croaking vocal fry that some women use to sound “serious,” and a high-pitched, little-girl-with-a-small-mouth cutesy tone. Her voice can’t decide what it wants to be, because Harris cannot decide who she wants to be.

Well, really, she wants to be all things to all people, which is likely why she changes up her speaking pattern so drastically depending on her audience. Some would call that smart politics; others would call it sociopathy.

Let’s look back at just a few weeks ago when Kam Kam was speaking to an audience in Georgia. Remember, this is a woman who grew up in solidly middle class Berkeley, but she can’t even be honest about that. Even the New York Times, partisan as it is, called her on the carpet for having “virtually erased Berkeley, her hometown, from her campaign biography.”  Whatever her natural accent, it’s highly likely to sound like a middle class kid from California.

So where in tarnation did this drawl come from?

You can watch a video of her most recent drawl below – which also includes three minutes of other cases where Harris did exactly this.

Let us render the most recent into the written word for you:

“You awl hay-alped us do that and you goan help us agin in twunneh-twunneh-foe-wer.” Given how eager she is to portray herself as an integral part of the historic civil rights movement (“And, you know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day. And that little girl was me.”), one half expects her to say she was the little girl in the old Shake-n-Bake Commercial, too.

Southern-fried Kam Kam is out on the trail again, this time—strangely—in Detroit. Watch that below – and then compare it to how she spoke in Pittsburgh when she delivered the exact same line. As you were expecting, she magically adopted a new accent within hours (both clips are in the video below):

Slay, kween?

We know what we think of this linguistic legerdemain, but let’s see what the internet thinks!

OK y’all this one done burnt my biscuits:

Tee-hee.

Uh-oh, someone dragged Hillary into this:

Kamala Harris Slammed For Alleged Flip Flopping On Border Wall

Kamala Harris has been accused of flip flopping over the southern border wall – or at least that’s what *she* would like you to believe.

Progress on the brainchild of Donald Trump has been largely stagnant since January 2021, with Democrats strongly opposed to its very existence.

The Democratic nominee previously described the wall as “un-American” and “a medieval vanity project”. She’s also called it a “complete waste of taxpayer money” and “stupid” during her tenure as Sen. for California.

In the video below, you can see a compilation of all the times Harris slammed the concept of a border wall – always for the purpose of attacking Trump.

However, keen to shake off her detested label of the “border czar”, Harris has voiced strong support for an (extremely weak) bipartisan immigration bill which she claims was held back by Trump-supporting lawmakers in Congress. Axois broke the story, with the headline “Harris flip-flops on building the border wall.”

The Vice President’s support for the bill has been known for some time; however, allegations of flip flopping came to light when Sen. James Lankford told Axios that the bill “requires the Trump border wall” in order to pass Congress.

As such, conservatives struck at the opportunity to accuse Harris of flip flopping.

It also raised questions as to whether Harris’ pinching of the idea from Trump signaled a disappointing campaign.

There is, of course, whether her pledges will ever see the light of day.

As if flip-flopping on the issue wasn’t bad enough, Harris’ flip-flop is in name only. Or put differently; she wants you to think she’s flip-flopped on the border, but all she’s changed is her rhetoric, not her actual stance.

As Matt Palumbo pointed out, “While various publications have claimed that Harris has flip-flopped on a border wall, that’s not entirely true.” He went on to quote a report from Just Facts that found; That claim is demonstrably false and is based on a misrepresentation of the Senate Border Act of 2024, which has been repeatedly misportrayed as a “tough” border bill. Axios’ article, written by Alex Thompson and Hans Nichols, claims that Harris promised to build a wall because she announced at the “Democratic National Convention last week” that she “would sign the recent bipartisan border security bill.” And according to a statement obtained by Axios from Republican Senator James Lankford (OK), the bill “requires the Trump border wall.”

Palumbo continues; “Harris’ support of this bill isn’t even anything new – the media is just trying to portray is that way because the border is Harris’ biggest weakness. The bill she’s  backing is one that Biden wanted passed – which is enough to tell you it doesn’t actually do anything to secure the border. Furthermore, per Agresti, the bill only makes funds for a border wall available – but it doesn’t actually require a border wall to be built. The only possible reason for making such funds available but not mandating them to be used for their claimed purpose is because they don’t actually want them to go towards a border wall.”

Kamala Harris Pledges To Build Less Homes Per Year Than Her Administration Currently Is

Vice President Kamala Harris is on a thematic rampage in a bid to secure the votes required for a term in the White House.

Of course, it could be argued that a better approach for Americans would be to enact the required changes while she is in a position of political power rather than her whistlestop tour to secure four more years of it.

This week when talking about housing Harris pledged to build three million homes over four years to address the housing shortage her administration is partly responsible for.

“My mother saved for years to buy a home. I was a teenager when that day finally came – I remember how excited she was,” Harris wrote on X. “Right now, home ownership is out of reach for too many Americans. When I am President, we will end the housing shortage by building 3 million homes and rentals.”

The problem? That would actually mean building less housing!

The United States is currently building 1.4 million homes a year, nearly double Harris’ target of 750,000 a year.

And that’s despite the fact that housebuilding figures have already been substantially reduced under the Biden-Harris administration with figures falling for the first time since the 2008 Global Financial Crisis: “According to U.S. Census Bureau, single-family new home starts, which comprised 66.8% of total 2023 home starts, fell 6.0% from the prior year to 944,500 units. Multi-family starts were down 14.4% from 2022 to 468,600 units. Looking ahead, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) forecasts 2024 total housing starts to decrease 3.4% to 1.37 million units, with single-family starts rising 4.7% but multifamily starts decreasing 19.7% from 2023.”

It’s sometimes a wonder how she has any supporters at all. Then again…

There is ultimately a question of what influence Harris would have.

This Was the Craziest Moment of the DNC – And Few Have Seen It

Throughout the election campaign, the Democratic Party’s commitment to democracy has been questioned as to whether it truly stretches beyond the party name.

In the past month alone, the Democrats have selected a presidential candidate who failed to win a single primary, while also reportedly fighting to keep Donald Trump-endorser Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the ballot in key swing states – and fighting to keep off far-left third-party candidate Cornel West.

However, under-the-radar footage from the Democratic National Convention suggested the party’s loyalists’ true attitude towards democracy.

Kelley Robinson – the first “queer, Black, female” president of the leftist Human Rights Campaign – showed her true colors on the DNC’s “LGBTQ+ Kickoff” on Monday, August 19. She’s also a Harris surrogate.

“We can’t just worry about protecting democracy. In this moment, we’ve got to reimagine it with people that look and love like us at the center,” Robinson said in one of the many references to Trump that week. “And I think for us right now is about reimaging freedom and this American story in a way that is more revolutionary than what our founders actually put down on that little piece of paper, but instead is the type of democracy that is by and for all of the people in this country. That’s the opportunity that we have.”

“That little piece of paper”, as she called it, is the Constitution.

Many thought Robinson’s comments alluded to communism.

Her reference to the Constitution did not go unnoticed either.

And this is hardly the first time she’s made headlines. Last year, she went viral for not being able to answer the question of if there’s a difference between men and women during a congressional hearing.

California Democrats Want To Give Illegal Aliens $150,000 Towards Their First Home

California could approve a new measure that would make illegal immigrants eligible for up to $150,000 loans for down payments using taxpayer funding.

The proposed legislation, introduced by California Democrat Joaquin Arambula, would permit illegal aliens to apply for a state-sponsored down payment for 20% of their first mortgage under the Dream for All home loan program.

While currently low-income first-time buyers are already eligible, Arambula’s bill aims to extend this to “tax-paying illegal aliens,” as if there is such a thing.

“This bill would specify that an applicant who meets all other requirements for a loan under the program including, but not limited to, any requirements imposed on the agency in administering the program by specified entities, and who is otherwise eligible under applicable federal and state law, shall not be disqualified solely based on the applicant’s immigration status,” the legislation states.

If passed, the bill will free up $300 million from the state’s general fund. All applicants will still be required to go through the state lottery system which, in the past year, saw less than 10% of eligible residents selected for government assistance.

California’s currently in the political spotlight given it’s the home of Democratic Party nominee Kamala Harris. Her tenure as Vice President has seen illegal immigration skyrocket since January 2021, with conservative critics labeling her the “border czar” under Joe Biden’s administration.

Many were critical of the state’s plans to use taxpayer dollars to fund housing for illegal aliens.

Others came up with alternative solutions in response to the bill.

Democrats Cast Doubt On Reality Of Kamala Harris’ Price Control Policy

Kamala Harris’ plans for “communist” price controls on grocery items has been a focal point for her otherwise lackluster policy commitments so far.

When she’s not promoting concepts which she previously voted against, the Democratic nominee has sought to play on the concerns of voters over the cost of living, specifically the essential goods which have risen in price during her tenure as Vice President. Rather than fixing the issue while in an office of political power, “Comrade” Kamala has opted to introduce a price cap on goods under the condition she wins the election on November 5.

It’s an extremely Keynesian approach to an economy which has historically relied on free market forces, and has even concerned some of the less progressive factions within the Democratic Party.

In fact, a Politico article this week gave doubt that her price cap policy would ever pass Congress. Speaking under anonymity, several Democratic lawmakers told the publication that price controls would be unlikely to pass Congress: “But such a bill has no chance of passing Congress anytime soon, even if Democrats win the White House and Congress this November, according to six Democratic lawmakers and five Democratic aides who were granted anonymity to discuss the matter candidly. These people said Democrats in Congress have privately been telling critics that this part of the Harris plan is not viable,” Politico reported.

“Rather, they’ve argued it’s a messaging tactic — a way to show that she understands food prices remain an economic burden for many Americans and to redirect voters’ anger about inflation to corporations, in a way that progressives in particular have cheered,” they continued.

Politico also noted that the proposal “has also alarmed food industry officials and even some left-of-center economists, who’ve warned such policies can hurt more than they help.”

It marks yet another flaw in the Harris campaign. The month-long wait for Democratic in-fighting has returned, even if the concerns are less public than they were with Joe Biden’s insistence to carry on his campaign. Even if successful in November, Harris would be unable to deliver on what is currently a key campaign pledge.

There is, nevertheless, always the executive order route…

Arizona Mayor Has Citizen Arrested for Criticizing City Council in Public

If you’re not afraid of losing the country you love and kissing your constitutional rights goodbye, you will be after you see this.

The video below shows the Mayor of Surprise, Arizona, ordering the arrest of a local woman to eject her from a public meeting of the Surprise City Council. Local resident Rebekah Massie took her turn at the podium during the public comments period in order to criticize the city attorney and his salary.

Free speech is on life support.

When you listen to the nearly three-minute video, Surprise Mayor Skip Hall tells Massie to stop talking. Why? Because she was criticizing city councilors and city staff by name, which Hall claimed was against the rules.

Huh? It is amazing what petty tyrants will do when they think they can get away with it, and Hall clearly thought he was going to get away with it. He did, in the moment. An obedient cop who seems unfamiliar with the First Amendment dutifully dragged Massie out in full view of everyone. Like cowards, the entire city council sat their mute while Massie was unconstitutionally silenced. It doesn’t seem like anyone in the crowd had her back either.

They always appeal to “the rules,” these commissars. Rules they made up, and rules they believe supersede the United States Constitution. Mayor Skip Hall was keen to point out the rules printed on speaker sign-up forms:

“Oral communications during the City Council meeting may not be used to lodge charges or complaints against any employee of the City or members of the body…”

Convenient, no?

It looks like Hall and his city council are going to have to face some legal and perhaps financial discomfort, as legal experts say it looks like Rebekah Massie has a good first amendment case against the city.

Constitutional law attorney Robert McWhirtier told local media, “I think that she may have a case against the City of Surprise.” The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) thinks so too. The group is mainly devoted to protecting the constitutional rights of students on college campuses, but it has begun to pick up broader free expression cases that the woke-compromised American Civil Liberties Union will no longer touch.

Public reaction on social media will both inspire and disappoint you. Many Americans who understand their constitutional rights are four-square behind Massie.

Another user is asking a question we bet Mayor Skip Hall would find “inappropriate.”

Sadly, your fellow Americans also include people who don’t understand their own rights, and don’t seem to think they need them in the first place. It’s amazing how many adults seem to actually believe that ice cream social rules govern what citizens may and may not say in government meetings.

This user is correct, but what he cites is beside the point.

The rules of free speech are not limited by one party’s subjective perception of being “attacked.” No American has to prove she didn’t “attack” a government official in order to be allowed to criticize them.

Kamala Harris’ “Marxist” Father Absent From DNC

Kamala Harris’ estranged father did not attend last week’s Democratic National Convention, according to media reports.

Donald Harris, 86, has had a long-estranged relationship with the Vice President and Democratic Party presidential nominee – evident from Kamala’s acceptance speech on Thursday, August 22, where her father was almost seldom mentioned.

“At the park, my mother would say, ‘Stay close.’ But my father would say, as he smiled, ‘Run, Kamala, run. Don’t be afraid. Don’t let anything stop you,’” Harris said in her only mention to her father. “From my earliest years, he taught me to be fearless.”

It is unclear whether Donald was not invited to the DNC, or chose not to attend.

Born in Jamaica, Donald and Kamala’s mother, Shyamala Gopalan Harris, divorced in 1971 when the now-Democratic nominee was only eight years old. The 86-year-old has since stayed largely out of the political spotlight with his daughter’s rise to prominence, and his views have been described as “combative Marxist economist” by the Economist.

“He is a clear writer. There are few compound nouns or sentences that run for paragraphs. Yet he is still a Marxist and his writings are sprinkled with obscurantist theorizing. Republicans who have mocked Ms. Harris for word-salad speeches will find precedent in her father’s writing,” the Economist wrote of Harris’ father.

Donald Harris was born in 1938 in Jamaica, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of London before moving to the U.S., where he completed a doctorate in economics at the University of California in Berkeley in 1966.

Most recently, Harris and her father cashed in 2019 when the then-Sen. for California joked about smoking marijuana during her college days in an interview with Charlamagne tha God. Her father’s grievances at the comment caused him to respond to the “fraudulent stereotype” of the country in Jamaica Global – and he denounced her campaign.

In response to the article by the New York Post, social media users noted the “Marxist” connection to a candidate her political opponent calls “Comrade Kamala”.

Others noted a similar theme emerging to Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns.

Online Gossip Rag TMZ Falls for Beyoncé DNC Rumor

The entire Democrat campaign for president is nothing but hot air about Kamala Harris, so why not a little more? Breitbart has the bead on what appears to be an orchestrated lie put out by the Harris campaign to pump up numbers at the Democratic National Convention that wound up in Chicago.

Did you hear that pop goddess Beyoncé was supposed to appear? Plenty did, thanks to a rumor that the online gossip tabloid TMZ put out. As it turns out, their source for the claim was Harris’ senior political director and strategist Emmy Ruiz, who knowingly lied and then joked about it after.

The rumor then spread like wildfire, as you can see below in the compilation of liberal news outlets that then pushed it.

TMZ’s gossip originated from Ruiz tweeted out a bee emoji, and because Beyonce”s fans call her “Queen B” therefore Beyonce would be appearing at the DNC. And while that seems like a stretch, that was what Ruiz wanted all along, who joked after fooling the media (who wanted to be fooled) that she only tweeted that because her “6 year old took my phone.”

Is anyone surprised? Harris is an empty candidate with no ideas except how to achieve her own will to power. She’s been rightly mocked by critics across the political spectrum for having a presidential campaign website with absolutely zero policy details and no platform. But it sure is full of pictures of Harris and running mate Tim Walz attempting to simulate human grins.

Harris managed to get an audience at all at one of her first rallies after the apparent “soft coup” that dumped Joe Biden out of the race by giving rally goers a free concert. Superstar rapper Meghan Thee Stallion looks to be the reason anyone turned out, but one thing is certain: it was the first time a presidential candidate featured “twerking” at a campaign rally. That’s no longer remarkable, apparently, as all CNN had to say about the fact that a rapper was thrusting her ass into the audience’s face was that she was wearing a pantsuit just like Kam Kam.

People on social media are mocking the Beyoncé rumor with many saying anyone who fell for it is a fool. But are they? In a country with a major political party that endorses the surgical and chemical mutilation of confused children and calls it “gender affirming care,” is a Beyoncé convention appearance that hard to buy?

Let’s see what people on X have to say.

He’s got a point.

This one will make you titter.

“What A Team!” – Oprah Winfrey Once Wanted To Be Donald Trump’s Vice President

Oprah Winfrey made headlines across the country on Wednesday, August 21, when she appeared at the Democratic National Convention to endorse Kamala Harris – especially for the part where the billionaire claimed to be a victim of income inequality.

The 14-minute speech largely centered around Winfrey’s view that, as an independent, she felt compelled to support Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz over the Republican pairing of Donald Trump and J.D. Vance.

“I’m calling on all you independents and all you undecided [sic],” she told the Chicago crowd. “You know this is true. You know I’m telling you the truth: that values and character matter most of all, in leadership and in life. And more than anything—you know this is true—that decency and respect are on the ballot in 2024.”

“And just plain common sense. Common sense tells you that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz can give us decency and respect. They’re the ones that give it to us,” Winfrey added.

The speech marked a rare foray into politics for the television personality. It also marked, as noted by social media, and change of heart by Winfrey.

Since the late ‘80s, Winfrey held a special fondness for Trump until he became a Republican presidential candidate. She would regularly invite him onto her talk show to discuss the economy, business, and foreign affairs.

In fact, she even suggested she’d be Trump’s running mate if he ever ran for president.

It wasn’t just in public that the two had a special relationship. As shared by the Trump campaign immediately after Winfrey’s remarks, the Chicago native held high praise for the former president after the release of his 2000 book, The America We Deserve, where she responded, “Too bad we’re not running for office. What A TEAM!” after Trump suggested she would be his first choice for vice president.

Social media users noticed the consistency of Trump’s viewpoint…

…while also criticizing Winfrey for her flip away from Trump.
