Teen Vogue Article: Trump’s Trans Surgery Ban for Minors is a ‘Death Sentence’

A Teen Vogue article warns that Trump’s executive order against chemical and surgical gender transition for minors puts them at risk of death.

On January 28, 2025, President Trump signed the “Protecting Children From Chemical And Surgical Mutilation” order, banning the chemical and surgical mutilation of individuals under 19 years of age.

The EO says the government will “not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called ‘transition.’” It also directs the government to “enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.”

Citing a debunked study, the writer says Trump’s order gravely endangers children with gender dysphoria by putting them at risk of self harm.

The argument stems from a 2024 Trevor Project study of 61,000 trans individuals between 2018 and 2022, when 48 anti-transgender laws were enacted across 19 states. It found that “anti-transgender laws significantly increased incidents of past-year suicide attempts among transgender and nonbinary youth by as much as 72%.”

“I don’t want to mince words here: stripping trans youth of their gender affirming care is a death sentence,” Angelica Christina Torres, a Stonewall Inn board member, said in an interview published on Teen Vogue.

She argued that preventing transgender kids from undergoing irreversible medical interventions exposes them to bullying, thus pushing them towards depression and self harm.

“These Executive Orders create an even larger target on their backs for cisgender students to continue attacking and harming transgender youth, further pushing them towards self harm, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and in some cases, suicide,” Torres said. “Gender affirming care is often the only shred of hope and joy that our vulnerable youth can hold onto.”

“Gender-affirming care is lifesaving, and I can personally speak to that experience,” said the “proud alumni of the nation’s first fully accredited LGBTQIA+ high school, The Harvey Milk High School.”

However, conflicting studies have found that the risk of self-harm for transgender students increased two years after they underwent “chemical and surgical” sex-change operations.

In particular, a more recent and extensive study of 107,583 patients published by The Journal of Sexual Medicine found that individuals who received chemical and medical interventions for sex change exhibited “significantly higher” rates of depression, anxiety, substance-use disorders, and suicide two years after the operation.

“Mental health outcomes included depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, substance use disorder, and body dysmorphic disorder, assessed over two years post-surgery using clinician-verified ICD-10 codes.”

Depression rates among male subjects who medically or chemically changed their sex more than doubled (25%) compared to those who did not transition (11.5%).  Anxiety rates among the same group of males also more than quadrupled (12.8%) compared to those who remained intact (2.6%).

Similarly, women who chemically/surgically transitioned reported higher rates of depression (22.9%) compared to those who did not undergo medical interventions (14.6%). These negative outcomes were reported two years after the subjects had medically transitioned, thus suggesting long-term effects or lifetime regret for mutilating their bodies.

The study recommended “ongoing, gender-sensitive mental health support for transgender individuals’ post-surgery.” Undoubtedly, children suffering from gender dysphoria could benefit from the same mental health support and care without the need for medical mutilation to reduce the risk of suicide.

Meanwhile, Trump’s executive order warned that children who transitioned must face the “horrifying tragedy” of being unable to have their own children. They also face a lifetime of health complications and skyrocketing medical bills to address various health problems introduced by the highly invasive procedures.

Additionally, gender transition also comes with unexpected sobering realities for which the children are likely unprepared, thus pushing them towards self harm.

AOC’s High-Flying Hypocrisy: First Class to Bernie Sanders Socialist Rally

AOC's High-Flying Hypocrisy: First Class to Bernie Sander's Socialist Rally

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been caught flying in luxury to speak with Bernie Sanders on a Fighting Oligarchy tour in Las Vegas.

That’s right, AOC traveled first class to Las Vegas for one of these events in March.

This is just another example of AOC’s hypocrisy, which also goes against her professed beliefs about climate change.

It makes you wonder why it is so hard for those who push socialism and far-left talking points on the masses to set an example for their followers.

Critics say AOC’s travel preferences show how she battles inequality one “mimosa at a time.”

Ocasio-Cortez was snapped in the roomy first-class cabin of JetBlue Flt. 511 on March 19 as she departed for Las Vegas, where she spoke at a Sanders rally titled “Fighting Oligarchy.”

The next day, she allied along with her socialist comrade at the event.

REACTIONS:

In another example of hypocrisy, we reported last month that Bernie Sanders paid his stepson an estimated $800,000 to run his organization.

The Sanders Institute, a 501(c)(3), paid David Driscoll around $150,000 in 2023, including benefits.

Driscoll has been on the payroll since at least 2018.

Sanders’ Institute claims between $200,000 and $300,000 in contributions and grants annually, so the question is, where does it get the money to pay its staff?

According to Federal Election Commission records, in 2023, Sanders quietly funneled $200,000 from his campaign’s coffers to his wife’s nonprofit Institute.

Anti-Trump-Musk Protesters Hit the Streets, Make a Little Noise, Even Less Sense

Protests targeting President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk were held Saturday in several liberal-leaning cities across the United States.

Demonstrations occurred in urban areas such as New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., but turnout remained modest, and messaging remained largely consistent with slogans seen in past election cycles.

Organized primarily through social media platforms and progressive networks, the protests were billed as expressions of opposition to what organizers referred to as the “authoritarian agenda” of President Trump’s second term and what they labeled as “corporate overreach” by Musk, CEO of X and SpaceX.

The events marked some of the first nationally coordinated anti-Trump protests since the president’s re-election in 2024, but initial reporting and eyewitness accounts suggest the events were smaller and less energized compared to earlier protest movements such as the Women’s March in 2017 or Black Lives Matter demonstrations in 2020.

In New York City, approximately a few hundred people gathered in Union Square, holding signs and chanting slogans opposing Trump’s economic policies and Musk’s business dealings.

Several protestors expressed concern about Trump’s renewed use of tariffs and what they described as attacks on academic freedom and immigration enforcement actions targeting student visa holders involved in campus unrest.

“We’re here to show that not everyone supports what’s happening in Washington,” one protestor told a local outlet.

“We reject the hate and the corporate collusion.”

In San Francisco, demonstrators focused more heavily on Musk, with signs criticizing his ownership of X, as well as his influence in technology and political conversations.

Some attendees cited concerns over content moderation and alleged disinformation, though they did not provide specific examples when asked by reporters.

Despite the online promotion of the events, many of the protests saw lower-than-expected participation.

In several cases, protestors were outnumbered by journalists, police, and counter-protestors.

Footage circulating online showed sparse gatherings and signs featuring recycled slogans, with little clarity on specific policy goals.

The protests were covered by several national media outlets, with some commentators noting that the demonstrations were largely confined to urban centers where Democratic voter majorities are firmly established.

There were no reports of large-scale disruptions or arrests as of Saturday evening.

President Trump, who has not directly addressed the protests, has continued to focus on economic and immigration policy in recent weeks.

His administration’s enforcement actions on college campuses and new tariff plans have drawn international attention, particularly following responses from the United Kingdom and other trade partners.

Elon Musk has also not commented publicly on the demonstrations.

In recent months, Musk has remained active on X, where he frequently engages with political and cultural issues and has defended his platform’s approach to free speech.

While some activists described Saturday’s events as the beginning of a new wave of progressive mobilization, critics noted the lack of new messaging or clear direction.

The protests appeared to largely reflect opposition to Trump’s return to office rather than any coordinated legislative or electoral strategy.

Officials in cities where demonstrations took place confirmed that police maintained a presence at protest sites to ensure safety, but no major incidents were reported.

As the Trump administration continues to roll out policy changes in its second term, political observers expect further demonstrations and organizing efforts.

However, the scope and influence of those efforts remain uncertain as Democratic leaders regroup following the 2024 election loss.

Kamala Harris Crawls Back Into Spotlight to Trash Trump Again

Former Vice President Kamala Harris resurfaced Thursday to speak at the Leading Women Defined Summit in Dana Point, California, where she sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s second term and warned against what she described as a growing silence in the face of “unconstitutional threats.”

“We’re seeing people stay quiet. We are seeing organizations stay quiet. We are seeing those who are capitulating to clearly unconstitutional threats. And these are the things we are witnessing. Each day in the last few months in our country. And it understandably creates a great sense of fear. Because you know there were many things we knew would happen.”

As Fox News reported, the speech marked one of Harris’ most public appearances since her loss to President Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Though she lost the race in November, Harris took the stage with renewed energy and referenced her earlier warnings about Trump’s return to office.

Vice President Kamala Harris greets the crowd in Jenison Field House on the Michigan State campus Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024.

“I’m not here to say I told you so,” she said, pausing before adding with a laugh, “I swear, I wasn’t going to say that,” drawing laughter from the audience.

The appearance also came as reports surfaced detailing how Harris and her 2024 running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, were reportedly stunned by the outcome of the election. According to journalist Amie Parnes, Harris “was completely shocked,” by the defeat.

Parnes, co-author of the new book Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, spoke on the podcast “Somebody’s Gotta Win with Tara Palmeri,” which aired Thursday.

The book, co-written with NBC reporter Jonathan Allen, details the 2024 campaign and the political fallout following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race, which placed Harris at the top of the Democratic ticket.

Harris’ criticism of Trump on Thursday comes amid ongoing legal and market challenges tied to several of the president’s initiatives. A number of Trump’s executive actions remain tied up in court proceedings, and markets reacted sharply this week to his new tariffs, which have disrupted global trade activity and caused significant stock market volatility.

Thursday’s address was not Harris’ first public appearance since the election. In February, she gave a speech while accepting an award during the NAACP Image Awards. During that appearance, she also took indirect swipes at Trump and Department of Government Efficiency chief Elon Musk.

While Harris has remained mostly out of the spotlight since the 2024 election, her remarks at Dana Point suggest she plans to re-engage publicly as Trump’s administration continues to roll out new policy directives.

DNC Chair Announces New “Shadow Government” to Thwart Trump’s Agenda

DNC Chair Announces New "Shadow Government" to Thwart Trump's Agenda

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has announced a new “shadow government” dubbed the People’s Cabinet in an effort to derail President Donald Trump’s MAGA agenda.

The announcement came not long after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz called for a “shadow government” to oppose Trump and advocated for what he called “alternate press conferences” to force Democrat-approved talking points on the public.

Days later, DNC Chair Ken Martin announced he is turning it into an official operation to thwart Trump.

The People’s Cabinet will consist of “experts, leaders, and everyday Americans,” while in reality, it’s nothing more than a bunch of bureaucrats and radical activists hell-bent on destroying America.

According to Martin, the project will counter “lies” and bring so-called “accurate information.”

In other words, they will spin more lies and disrupt Trump’s common-sense moves to fix the mess left by Joe Biden.

This is nothing but political subversion.

As Trump works to rebuild the economy and protect America’s future, Democrats are doing everything they can to disrupt his efforts.

Moreover, the featured names in the People’s Cabinet should tell you everything. Here are some — via The Gateway Pundit:

Robert Reich, a far-left economist and co-founder of a group that traffics in class warfare and fearmongering.
Mandela Barnes, who couldn’t win over voters in Wisconsin but is now being recycled to bash Trump’s policies on the national stage.
Heidi Heitkamp, a former senator who wants to lecture rural America after voters sent her packing.
Martin O’Malley, failed presidential hopeful, now reinvented as a “defender” of Social Security against imaginary threats.

The plan will also include “rapid response” efforts to attack Trump’s policies, disrupt his messaging, and suppress conservative voices online.

“I’ve been traveling across the country nonstop since I started this job, and what I hear over and over is that Americans want us to challenge Trump’s unimpeded lies, confront his reckless agenda, and offer a better alternative,” said DNC Chair Ken Martin.

“Trump has stacked his Cabinet with out-of-touch billionaires and know-nothing loyalists who are wreaking havoc on the lives of working people across this country, with total disregard for the harm they’re causing our families – from stripping away their health care coverage, to jacking up their costs at the grocery store, to putting the lives of service members at risk.
The People’s Cabinet is made up of experts, leaders, and everyday Americans from across the country who will equip communities with the reliable, accurate information they need to fight back against the worst of the Trump and Republican agenda.”

Georgia Dems Walk Out of Chamber in Support of Sex-Changes for Criminals

Democrats across the country are playing Backwards Morality Day every day now. Here’s how you can play along with them:

  1. Find the most unsympathetic cause.
  2. Find equally unsympathetic, even monstrous people associated with the cause.
  3. Call the monstrous cause and the unsavory people “marginalized” and “victims.”
  4. Dems will go all in on the monster cause and work to make new monsters.
  5. Profit!

It sounds absurd because it is, and it is also true. Remember Trump’s speech to Congress, and how the Dems refused to clap for a 13-year-old boy with terminal brain cancer? Remember how every single one of them, including the Democratic women, refused to vote for a bill that would protect girls from having to play against boys (“trans girls”) in sports or share their locker rooms with them?

The rules are simple. If you’re a bad person, the Dems love you. If you’re a criminal, the Dems love you. If you’re an illegal alien, the Dems love you. If you’re a normal American citizen, they absolutely hate you and want to do everything they can to drain more of your tax dollars to give away to dangerous, violent, or perverted scum. More below.

It’s not just in Washington, either. The Democrat politicians at the state level haven’t even begun to recover their sanity; they’re still living in woke world. Maybe they think if they keep pretending they’ll wake up one day and find that Donald Trump’s election was just a bad dream. Colorado leftists have introduced a bill that would deprive parents of custody in divorce cases if the parent won’t address their “trans” child (no such thing) by their made-up fake name. California’s legislature just nixed a bill that would have barred boys from girls’ sports teams.

Now in Georgia, Democrat lawmakers threw fits and walked out of the chamber to protest a Republican-backed bill. What was it? A bill to stop the taxpayer funding of sex-change surgeries for prison inmates. Yes, really.

Their fellow leftists applauded their colleagues as they left chamber as if they’d all just marched across the Edmund Pettis bridge or re-liberated the slaves.

Let’s see what the public thinks.

Hmm. Seems like the Democrats are out of step with sane Americans. Let’s see if we can find some support for the liberal champs.

Nope. Doesn’t seem to be much. Most responses sound like this:

Gavin Newsom Rages as Trump Cuts Planned Parenthood Funding in California

Gavin Newsom Rages as Trump Cuts Planned Parenthood Funding in California

California Gov. Gavin Newsom reacted angrily to President Donald Trump shutting down federal funds that went to abortions provided by Planned Parenthood.

In a press release, the abortion provider confirmed that nine of its affiliates were informed that the Trump administration would temporarily withhold their Title X funding over possible violations of Trump’s executive orders.

Newsom decried the order on social media:

“Woke up this morning to the Trump Administration freezing ALL of CA’s Title X funding,” he wrote.

“It’s a Republican-founded program — Richard Nixon of all people established it in 1970. This is just plain cruel.”

Newsom said Title X funds paid for “basic reproductive care,” including birth control, cancer screenings, and STD testing.

The executive order, which Trump signed in January, ended “the use of Federal taxpayer dollars to fund or promote elective abortion.”

Planned Parenthood was also suspected of violating Trump’s prohibitions against diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, including providing abortion services to illegal aliens.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund CEO and President Alexis McGill claimed the action would lead to a deterioration in women’s health.

“President Trump and Elon Musk are pushing their dangerous political agenda, stripping health care access from people nationwide, and not giving a second thought to the devastation they will cause,” said McGill.

“We know what happens when health care providers cannot use Title X funding: People across the country suffer, cancers go undetected, access to birth control is severely reduced, and the nation’s STI crisis worsens,” she claimed.

Shelby McMichael, communications manager of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, said:

“Given the first Trump Administration’s actions to restrict Title X and force abortion providers like Planned Parenthood out of the program, and the subsequent reversal of those rules under the Biden Administration, we know that the temporary withholding of California’s Title X funds means that access to critical family planning services is once again threatened, with real, serious impacts on patients and providers.”

KCRA reported:

McMichael said the organization would call on the state to take action and make investments to preserve reproductive freedom.

McMichael also noted that California’s Title X network served more than 500,000 patients last year.

Beyond California, the Title X program provided essential services for more than 4 million people across the U.S. in 2018.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services declined to say which laws or executive orders the groups are being investigated for violating, though the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association said some of the letters cited civil rights laws.

Democrats Do a Lucy-and-Ethel At the Candy Factory

In one of the most famous episodes of the classic TV series I Love Lucy, Lucy and Ethel get jobs in a chocolate factory. You know the drill. They’re manning the conveyor belt carrying finished chocolates as they come out of the machine needing to be wrapped and packaged. Slowly but surely, the conveyor belt speeds up and the ladies are having trouble keeping up.

When the speed gets more than they can handle, Lucy and Ethel try to manage the runaway candy belt by stuffing chocolates in their mouths and shirts. It never occurs to them to just stop, reassess the situation, and take a different approach. They either can’t think differently, or they have no way to convince the operator to slow the whole thing down, so they try to keep it all together in a way that ends up ruining the candy and costing them their jobs.

That’s how the Democrat party is “handling” the country’s swing to a conservative mood after the election of Donald Trump to the presidency. The usual hysterics on major media just keep doing more hysteria faster—witness CBS’ Margaret Brennan laughably blaming the Holocaust on free speech in Germany.

Or take failed Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz (Governor of Minnesota), whose advice to a recent crowd of party faithful was to double down on the lunacy. Referring to the racist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies that America has soundly rejected, Walz says the Democrats can win if they just push more of those, and harder.

“We got ourselves in this mess because we weren’t bold enough to stand up and say ‘you damn right we’re proud of these policies. We’re going to put them in, and we’re going to execute them’,” said Walz.

Oh, dear.

Speaking at a rally put on by the Christopher Street Project, a PAC that aims to elect so-called “transgender” people to political office, the best the Dems can do is to pull a Lucy-n-Ethel. Take this woman, who tells the crowd that “her” “pronouns” are: he, she, they, and them. She works for Planned Parenthood as a nurse, she tells us from behind her Covid mask, and she’s very worried about lots of things.

https://twitter.com/EndWokeness/status/1906843790737916171

Next up at the same event, we have Democrat Rep. Judy Chu of California delivering her message “loud and clear” in a strangely strangled, screeching voice: “Trans rights are human rights and human rights are trans rights!” At least she achieved symmetry.

This kind of thing is of course red meat. . .I mean, plant-based protein. . .to the lunatic left, but how’s it playing in digital Peoria? Here’s what X/Twitter users had to say.

Not so good so far.

Jasmine Crockett’s Attack on GOP Rep Goes Viral After Unintentionally Targeting Kamala Harris

Jasmine Crockett’s Attack on GOP Rep Goes Viral After Unintentionally Targeting Kamala Harris

Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) put her foot in it this week after inadvertently criticizing former Vice President Kamala Harris and fellow Squad members during a swipe at a Republican colleague.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Crockett slammed Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) for marrying a white woman.

“If we continue to put into office skinfolk, who are definitely not our kinfolk, such as Byron Donalds, who are going to continue to say… the fact that you was sitting around talking about life was better under Jim Crow?” she said in the now-viral clip.

“Like, is this because you don’t understand history?” the Democrat says in a viral clip circulating on X.

“Or literally it’s because you married a white woman, so you think that whitewash you?” she quipped.

When host Charlamagne tha God noted that Donalds “couldn’t even be married to a white woman under Jim Crow,” Crockett yelled, “Correct!”

“It’s a joy to call him out,” she continued.

“It’s like they give him his talking points, and he’s like, ‘Yes massa, I got it.’”

Watch

During Crockett’s rant, she accidentally criticized Harris, whose husband Doug Emhoff is white, as well as fellow Squad members Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Summer Lee (D-PA).

Crockett also made headlines this week after referring to her state’s Republican governor as “Hot Wheels” because he uses a wheelchair, which she failed to apologize for.

She also allegedly assaulted a conservative journalist after the young man asked whether she condoned the nationwide acts of vandalism against Tesla cars and dealerships.

Wisconsin Voter Integrity Battle: 5,000 Allegedly Illegal Registrations Submitted

Image Credit: © Jovanny Hernandez / Milwaukee Journal Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Ahead of Wisconsin’s high-profile elections on Tuesday, an election integrity watchdog, Fair Elections Wisconsin (FEW), has raised concerns about nearly 5,000 allegedly illegal voter registrations in Milwaukee.

The group claims these registrations were used to cast ballots in the November election, and their challenge to the city’s voter rolls has sparked controversy.

On Wednesday, FEW President Justin Gavery submitted a list of 4,878 allegedly illegal voter registrations to the Milwaukee Election Commission (MEC).

According to the group’s review of data from the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) and the U.S. Postal Service’s National Change of Address database, the registrations involved voters who had either moved out of the county or state before the October 24, 2024, deadline for voter registration.

Among the 4,878 registrations in question, FEW found that 281 voters had moved out of the county before the cutoff date, while 377 had moved out of state.

Additionally, the review found several other discrepancies, such as 2,926 addresses with missing or incorrect apartment/suite/unit numbers, 540 voters who had moved from their registered address, and 501 physical addresses that had been changed to P.O. boxes.

Other issues included 217 voters who had no forwarding addresses on file, 24 who used commercial addresses (such as UPS or FedEx stores), and 11 who registered using a U.S. Post Office address.

FEW formally challenged these voter registrations, calling for an investigation into the irregularities and urging the commission to take appropriate action.

The group’s legal challenge asked that those who had registered unlawfully—such as with a UPS store address—be prosecuted, that postcards be sent to correct any errors, and that the names be moved to inactive status if they were found to be incorrect.

Gavery told Just the News on Thursday that the commission initially attempted to dismiss the group’s challenges.

However, after mentioning the potentially illegal votes cast in the November election, FEW was able to push the issue further.

“We had them cornered, so they did a closed session,” Gavery said.

After about 30 minutes of waiting, the commission reconvened and informed FEW that their challenges would not be accepted.

When Gavery pressed the commission on whether they were interested in investigating potential voter fraud, he said the response was dismissive.

“Meeting adjourned,” he was told.

Gavery clarified that the voter registrations had not been cross-referenced to determine political party affiliation, so the issue is not partisan.

“This isn’t a partisan issue,” he said, pointing out that the registrations could involve both Republican and Democratic voters.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission did not respond to a request for comment on Friday regarding the challenges.

As the state gears up for elections on April 1, including high-profile races for the Wisconsin Supreme Court and a proposed constitutional amendment on voter ID, the issue of voter integrity continues to be a topic of concern.

Voter ID is already required by Wisconsin state law, but the upcoming vote will decide whether to enshrine this requirement in the state constitution.

State Rep. Rob Kreibich, who supports the constitutional amendment, wrote in January that the amendment would protect the integrity of Wisconsin’s voting system.

“For clarification, photo ID is already required by Wisconsin State Statute. But a ‘yes’ vote would amend the Wisconsin Constitution to include this requirement,” he explained.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court race is another closely watched contest, with Democratic-backed Judge Susan Crawford facing off against Republican-backed Judge Brad Schimel.

Polls show the race is tight, with both candidates tied at 47% support among likely voters, according to a March poll by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce.

The election has seen significant spending, with reports showing that the race could reach $100 million in total expenditures.

More than $17 million has been spent by groups supporting Schimel, including contributions from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has also donated $3 million to the Wisconsin Republican Party.

Crawford has raised more than $25 million, with support from progressive figures like George Soros and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker.

With early voting already surpassing previous years’ totals by nearly 50%, the race is shaping up to be one of the most expensive and contentious in the state’s history.

Early voting ends Sunday, and Wisconsin voters will have a chance to decide the future of their state’s Supreme Court and constitutional amendments.
