President Donald Trump’s Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, used the site of former President Joe Biden‘s fake Oval Office to address some members of the new media outlets that have been granted access to the press pool.
Leavitt used the fake set to emphasize the difference between the last and current administrations.

“This beautiful…auditorium…he used this like it was a fake Oval Office, weirdly, oddly. He was missing in action. He called lids at two in the afternoon!” Leavitt urged.
“That is NOT acceptable around here!” she added.
“The president is willing to to talk to anyone — not just journalists — who have really been posing as journalists, but are actually left wing activists,” she further asserted.

🔥HOLY SMOKES: @PressSec just EXPOSED the total sham that was the Biden White House "fake" Oval Office set:
"This beautiful…auditorium…he used this like it was a fake Oval Office, weirdly, oddly. He was missing in action. He called lids at 2:00 in the afternoon!"
Last month, The New York Postreported that Trump’s top aide also gave a behind-the-scenes look at the “fake Oval Office” used by Biden during several photo ops.
The faux White House rooms the last administration used were posted to Alina Habba’s half-million social media followers. They included state-of-the-art lights, screens, and teleprompters.
“We’re in Biden’s fake Oval Office, everybody,” Habba said in the video posted to X.
“I now know why, I now get it,” the Trump lawyer said before directing the person behind the camera to turn around.
Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., issued a stark warning to fellow Democrats during an appearance on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” Friday night, sharing a personal story that he said highlighted major concerns about his party’s leadership, particularly in California.
During a panel discussion, Maher asked Schiff to address the current state of the Democratic Party, especially in how it governs liberal strongholds like California.
Schiff acknowledged the challenges facing his party, saying, “So we’re gonna have to change how we do business in California. We’re gonna have to address people’s legitimate concerns about crime.”
Schiff recounted a personal experience from two years ago in San Francisco, when his luggage was stolen from his car.
He admitted that he had been warned not to leave valuables inside his vehicle but chose to ignore the advice.
“And what was most memorable about the experience for me as I went to this Target in South San Francisco, 10 o’clock at night, and I’m getting the toiletries I’m gonna need for my next two days in the city,” Schiff said.
“First of all, I had to get the clerk, which is hard to find, to unlock the shampoo or the whatever. So that’s one thing.”
He continued by describing what happened at the checkout counter.
“And then I get to the cashier. The cashier asked me if I want one of those Target bags with a little bullseye on it. And I said, ‘Yes, that Target bag is gonna be my luggage for the next two days,” Schiff said.
According to Schiff, the cashier then asked what had happened, and after he explained the situation, she responded bluntly.
“She basically said in not so many words, ’Yeah, Democrats are a**holes.’ And I thought, you know, if the cashier in South San Francisco at 10 o’clock at night believes that Democrats are a**holes because the shampoo was locked up and my stuff got stolen out of the trunk, we’ve got a major problem that we have to address.”
Maher responded to the story, saying, “That’s an awesome story. That says a lot. I hope all the Democrats listen to that story.”
GOLD STAR FOR THIS GENIUS!
She said, "Yeah, Democrats are assholes."
And I thought, if the cashier in South San Francisco at 10 at night believes that Democrats are assholes because the shampoo is locked up and my stuff got stolen out of the trunk, then we have a problem. pic.twitter.com/YSiAOA39on
Schiff went on to express optimism about new leadership in San Francisco.
He mentioned Democratic Mayor Daniel Lurie, saying Lurie is “helping lead the way in how we kind of reinvent how Democrats are doing governance.”
The exchange comes amid ongoing concerns about public safety, theft, and governance challenges in major Democrat-led cities.
San Francisco, in particular, has been under scrutiny for its handling of crime, retail theft, and broader public dissatisfaction, issues that have gained national attention over the past several years.
Schiff’s comments reflect growing acknowledgment among some Democrats that public frustration over crime and quality of life issues is becoming a political liability, even within traditionally loyal urban voter bases.
His remarks on national television further signal the internal debate underway in the Democratic Party on how to respond to these challenges ahead of upcoming elections.

Democratic political strategist James Carville unleashed another tirade on his podcast Politics War Room, asking whether Americans should wait for President Donald Trump to fully become “Hitler” before taking action.
During the episode “Is Trump Really Like Hitler?” Carville responded to recent remarks made by CNN host Michael Smerconish.
Smerconish said that while many people dislike Trump, he should not be treated as if he were Hitler.
However, Carville didn’t agree.
“Do we wait until he’s Hitler? At what point do you say, ‘This guy is a threat?’”
The former Clinton strategist urged Smerconish to bring in historians such as Anne Applebaum or Timothy Snyder—authors who have written extensively about authoritarian regimes in Europe—to give historical context when discussing authoritarianism and political extremism.
Carville also referenced a recent New York Times guest essay by comedian Larry David, My Dinner with Adolf. This essay satirized HBO host Bill Maher’s controversial White House visit, a fictional account aimed at portraying what some view as the dangers of normalizing Trump.
Carville then cited a quote from Barney Fife, a fictional character on the 1960s television show The Andy Griffith Show, to illustrate how he believes Trump should be dealt with.
“I’m going to quote the great Barney Fife: ‘Nip it. Nip it in the bud,’” Carville said.
“That’s what I say. Nip it, nip it in the bud. Don’t wait.”

A Minnesota state fiscal policy analyst under Governor Tim Walz will not be charged after admitting to vandalizing six Teslas, causing a reputed $21,000 in damages.
Dylan Bryan Adams, 33, was caught on surveillance video keying different Teslas in the Minneapolis area.
One victim of the Tesla vandalism told the Minnesota Star Tribune that the marks on her car appeared to be a failed attempt to carve a swastika.
“Our main priorities are to secure restitution for the victims and hold Mr. Adams accountable,” Hennepin County Attorney’s Office spokesman Daniel Borgertpoepping stated.
“As a result, we will file for pre-charge diversion to best facilitate both of those goals. This is an approach taken in many property crime cases and helps to ensure the individual keeps their job and can pay restitution, as well as reducing the likelihood of repeat offenses.”
“Criminal prosecution remains a possibility should unlawful behavior continue.”
“Participants in the county attorney’s diversion program are expected to sign a contract which could include conditions like community service and restitution payments,” the Star Tribune noted.

“The Minneapolis Police Department did its job. It identified and investigated a crime trend, identified and arrested a suspect, and presented a case file to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges. This case impacted at least six victims and totaled over $20,000 in damages. Any frustration related to the charging decision of the Hennepin County Attorney should be directed solely at her office.
Our investigators are always frustrated when the cases they poured their hearts into are declined. In my experience, the victims in these cases often feel the same.”
“We are reviewing the matter at this time,” Minnesota DHS stated to the Star Tribune.
“State employees are expected to follow our code of conduct and hold themselves to the highest ethical standards through their words and actions.”
Mary Moriarty, the Hennepin County Attorney, was a former public defender who became Hennepin County Attorney in January 2023.
“She vowed to make police more accountable and change the culture of an office she believes had long overemphasized punishment without addressing the root causes of crime,” KFGO reported in July 2024.
Attorney Gretchen Gray-Larson said her colleagues who kept working in the office were unhappy, adding, “People are afraid to talk. The morale is horrible.”
United States Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller has proven himself to be the biggest threat to the left’s propaganda since he started speaking to the media. He recently took a swipe at the supporters of violent illegal aliens, including terrorists and wife beaters.
Appearing on Fox News, he slammed the poorly rated Democratic Party that supports open borders, communism, and violence. Recently, the country was engulfed in Tesla vandalism, seemingly encouraged by some Democratic Party leaders.
“I think it’s just emblematic of the fact that the Democrat Party has been thoroughly, completely radicalized. They are an open borders party. They’re a communist party. They’re a party that excuses violence and left-wing terrorism. They are a party that’s polling at 21%,” Miller said on Hannity.
Miller warned that the Democratic Party’s popularity would continue to fall if it keeps fighting for illegal alien gang members from foreign countries, because most Americans wish to make the country safe.
An Axios/Ipsos poll found that 66% of Americans support the deportation of illegal immigrants, explaining why many elected Trump, who had promised the biggest mass deportation in history. Another Pew Research Center poll found that 97% of Americans support removing violent illegal aliens, while 52% support removing those who have committed non-violent crimes.
“But if they keep fighting to spring illegal alien gang members loose from foreign countries and bring them back to terrorize our families, that 21% will go down to 15% and 10% and lower and lower because Americans, above all else, expect their government to keep them safe. And Donald Trump is fighting harder to keep our families safer than anyone who has ever sat behind that resolute desk.”
Miller finally launched a more direct attack aimed at Democrats fighting to smuggle back a deported foreigner, who had entered the country illegally.
“We’ve reached a point in American politics where we have one party led by President Donald Trump that fights for Americans, and a second party, I guess led by AOC, that fights for illegal aliens, but not just illegal aliens. Criminal, wife-beating terrorist illegal aliens,” Miller added. “Two immigration judges, as you said, found that he was a member of MS-13, as did the arresting police department here nearby in Prince George’s County.”
Recently, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) also suggested that Democrats would retaliate against countries cooperating with Trump to deport “American citizens.” Tommy Vietor had allayed fears from the Latin American diplomatic community that Democrats would “take action against any foreign government that participates in the extraordinary rendition of American citizens.”
Seemingly, that was Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s message when he visited El Salvador to free Kilmar Abrego Garcia from his home country and return him to the United States. Some Republicans have requested that Sen. Hollen be investigated for potentially violating the Logan Act, which prohibits unauthorized diplomacy.
“When we come back to power — and we will — are not going to look kindly upon people who facilitated authoritarianism in our country,” Raskin confirmed.
Jamie Raskin: "When we come back to power — and we will — are not going to look kindly upon people who facilitated authoritarianism in our country."
Undoubtedly, the Democratic Party does not respect our opinions on various matters, from allowing men in women’s sports, deporting violent criminals, to chemical and surgical gender transitions for minors. American voters should fight for democracy by ensuring that the party never returns to power until it learns to respect the will of the people.
DNC Vice Chair David Hogg and former Trump White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus engaged in a sharp exchange Sunday during a segment on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos, centering on the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia and growing tensions within the Democratic Party.
The discussion turned combative after Priebus criticized Hogg’s pledge to spend $20 million to primary incumbent Democrats.
“It’s $20 million out of the DNC’s pocket,” Priebus said.
“You can’t be on the board of the fishing and forest company and on Greenpeace at the same time.”
He added that if he were in charge of the DNC, Hogg would be “removed from the party.”
Hogg’s spending plan has drawn criticism within Democratic ranks, with one veteran Democratic strategist reportedly calling him a “contemptible little twerp.”

"I don't know if I have standing, but I might give the DNC $10 to sue him. He's a contemptible little twerp if you ask me." pic.twitter.com/D0TrZT59g0
Priebus, who served as RNC chairman from 2011 to 2017 before joining President Donald Trump’s administration, expanded his criticism beyond Hogg.
He described the Democratic Party as fractured and lacking direction.
“The Democrats are a complete mess. They have no movement… They have no message… They have no leader,” Priebus said.
“It doesn’t get any worse than that. You’re defending Harvard, you’re traveling to El Salvador to defend MS-13 gang members.”
The comment referenced a recent trip by Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., who traveled to El Salvador on Friday to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Garcia, an illegal alien who had been living in Maryland, was deported and imprisoned in El Salvador’s high-security CECOT facility, a prison known for housing violent gang members.
The deportation occurred despite a U.S. court order that had halted his removal.
Democrats, including Van Hollen, have condemned Garcia’s deportation, arguing it violated legal protections and resulted in his imprisonment without due process.
Van Hollen stated he went to advocate for Garcia’s release, but Salvadoran authorities informed him upon arrival that Garcia had already been transferred to another facility.
The Trump administration has previously stated that Garcia is affiliated with the violent MS-13 gang.
Supporting that assertion, officials cited records indicating that Garcia’s wife once accused him of domestic violence—though no criminal charges were filed.
Hogg interrupted Priebus during the exchange and challenged the administration’s claims regarding Garcia’s ties to MS-13.
“This was not an MS-13 gang member, and you damn well know that,” Hogg said.
“The administration admitted this was wrong. In America, we have due process. We are a land of law and order, and this administration is repeatedly showing time and time again they do not care about what the Supreme Court says. They do not care about the rule of law, and you cannot defend sending people to another country where they don’t have rights.”
Priebus pushed back, pointing to public polling and intelligence assessments.
“Every intel community agency said Garcia was MS-13,” he stated, adding that a majority of Americans support deportation of individuals who are in the country illegally.
The segment underscored widening divisions not just between Republicans and Democrats, but within the Democratic Party itself, as figures like Hogg pursue more aggressive challenges to long-time incumbents.
It also brought renewed attention to the administration’s immigration enforcement policies, particularly regarding suspected gang members and individuals deported despite pending legal orders.
Van Hollen’s visit to El Salvador follows ongoing scrutiny from Democrats and immigrant advocacy groups over the Trump administration’s renewed emphasis on mass deportations and stricter immigration enforcement.
No further comment has been released from the DNC regarding Hogg’s spending campaign or Priebus’ suggestion that he should be removed from party leadership.
The 24-year-old daughter of failed vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz posted a video on TikTok claiming that Jesus Christ would have been deported by the Trump administration, even suggesting he would have been accused of being part of the deadly criminal gang MS-13.
Walz appeared to be referencing 29-year-old Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the MS-13-linked illegal alien who was recently deported to El Salvador under the Trump administration.
As reported earlier this week, Democrats have come under fire for expressing support for the return of the MS-13 member to the U.S.
In the video, Walz said:
“If Jesus were alive today and in the United States, this administration would already have taken him and removed him from this country without due process, claimed he was a member of the MS-13 gang as a way to try to justify not giving him due process, as if there is any justifiable reason to not giving somebody due process.
Some people don’t want to talk about that. It truly is baffling how clear and laid out everything is and there is [sic] still people standing by it.
I believe in the good of people, and like, humanity, humans, you know, deep down at our core, like, we care about each other.
But that’s really being tested, because how anyone is OK with this is terrifying to me.
But yeah, if you look like me, speak up, speak out, because we might be the only ones safe from what’s coming and some of the only people that are able to stop it.”
Watch:
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that they have overwhelming evidence that Garcia was involved in MS-13.
“Two judges found that he was a member of MS-13. That finding has not been disturbed. Intelligence reports found that he was involved in human trafficking,” Homeland Security said.
“He is an illegal alien from El Salvador. He claimed fear of being returned to El Salvador because he would be persecuted by MS-13’s rival gang, Barrio-18. Jennifer Vasquez, Garcia’s wife, petitioned for an order of protection against him. She claimed he punched her, scratched her, and ripped off her shirt, and bruised her.”
MS-13 is well known for its extreme violence and brutality in gang warfare, which intensified under the previous Biden administration.
“One of the largest and most violent criminal organizations in the United States is MS-13, which has over 10,000 members in as many as 40 states,” ICE states.
“The gang is known for its extreme violence, including its brutal initiation rituals and acts of intimidation and retaliation against rival gangs, law enforcement officials and community members.”
Several House Democrats declined to explain their opposition to a bill aimed at preventing non-citizens from voting in U.S. elections, according to footage obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The legislation, titled the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, would require states to obtain proof of citizenship before registering individuals to vote and to remove non-citizens from existing voter rolls.
Despite widespread public concern about election integrity, only four Democrats broke with their party to vote in favor of the bill alongside House Republicans.
Meanwhile, several other Democratic members of Congress either declined to answer questions or insisted that non-citizen voting is not a real issue.
During interactions recorded by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida was asked, “Congresswoman, why do you want non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections?”
She did not respond.
The individual continued, “Why do you not want to keep American elections safe and secure?” The congresswoman offered no reply.
Other Democrats questioned included Reps. Mark Takano (CA), Jasmine Crockett (TX), Greg Casar (TX), Eric Sorensen (IL), Tom Suozzi (NY), Seth Moulton (MA), Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (FL), and Lateefah Simon (CA). Rep. Suozzi stated that claims about non-citizen voting are a “myth,” referencing tech executive Elon Musk.
“That’s actually a myth that, what’s his name, Elon Musk was on a show where he was talking about non-citizens voting in New York. It’s just not true,” Suozzi said.
Some Democrats did state they oppose non-citizen voting. Cherfilus-McCormick, Casar, and Jared Moskowitz (FL) said they did not support allowing non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections.
Contrary to claims that the issue is overblown or nonexistent, several recent cases suggest that non-citizens have appeared on voter rolls and, in some cases, voted in elections.
In 2023, officials in Alabama, Texas, Virginia, and Ohio reported a combined total of approximately 17,000 non-citizens discovered on state voter rolls.
These states took steps to remove those individuals ahead of the 2024 general election.
In Arizona, America First Legal filed a lawsuit against Maricopa County, alleging that 35,000 registered voters had not provided proof of citizenship.
The suit resulted in all 15 Arizona counties conducting reviews, ultimately removing nearly 50,000 registrants who had failed to verify citizenship status, according to Fox News.
Oregon’s automatic voter registration system also led to the addition of non-citizens.
The Oregon DMV reported that 118 non-citizens were placed on voter rolls; at least 13 voted.
In a separate issue, the DMV mistakenly sent the names of 1,619 individuals to the state’s Elections Division, of which 17 are known to have voted.
There have also been federal cases involving non-citizens who cast ballots.
Two illegal immigrants, Angelica Maria Francisco of Guatemala and Carlos Abreu of the Dominican Republic, pleaded guilty to falsely claiming U.S. citizenship and voting in federal elections.
In Michigan, a Chinese national allegedly registered and voted in the 2024 election, according to statements from Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office and the Washtenaw County Prosecutor.
The Department of Justice has filed lawsuits against states like Virginia and Alabama in attempts to halt voter list cleanups.
The four Democrats who voted in favor of the SAVE Act were Reps. Henry Cuellar (TX), Jared Golden (ME), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA), and Ed Case (HI).
In response to Democrats’ lack of explanation, the NRCC issued a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation, criticizing their refusal to support basic voter safeguards.
“Democrats continue denying reality to explain their pathetic votes against requiring proof of citizenship to vote,” said NRCC spokesperson Ben Petersen.
“The American people deserve better than these Democrats who treat our sacred ballot box like an open border.”
Former Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen downplayed the feasibility of reviving American manufacturing during a recent interview, calling the idea a “pipe dream” and questioning whether it should even be a “desirable goal.”
As Breitbart reported, the remarks come at a time when major tech companies are investing heavily in U.S.-based production, challenging her position.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen speaks during the McCain Institute’s 2024 Sedona Forum at Enchantment Resort on May 3, 2024 in Sedona.
Yellen, who led the Federal Reserve from 2014 to 2018 and later served as President Joe Biden’s Treasury Secretary from 2021 to 2025, made the comments Monday during an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box.
She criticized the impact of former President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariff policy, suggesting it created uncertainty for businesses and households.
“Things have been just chaotic,” Yellen said. “The reciprocal tariffs put on and paused … This is really creating an environment in which households and businesses feel paralyzed by the uncertainty about what’s going to happen — it makes planning almost impossible.”
When asked about the future of domestic production, Yellen dismissed the idea of bringing back American manufacturing, saying:
“Perhaps it’s to bring back American manufacturing, but I really think that’s a pipe dream, and not something that is likely to be accomplished. And we could even raise questions about whether or not, in a broad-based way, that’s a desirable goal.”
Her remarks sparked swift backlash from conservatives, including Kentucky businessman Nate Morris, a potential Republican Senate candidate.
“The very same leftwing elites who are responsible for gutting our manufacturing base, screwing over our workers and building up the Chinese Communist Party,” Morris wrote on X, “are upset because President Trump is committed to putting America First and ending their globalist agenda.”
The very same leftwing elites who are responsible for gutting our manufacturing base, screwing over our workers and building up the Chinese Communist Party are upset because President Trump is committed to putting America First and ending their globalist agenda. https://t.co/ZwIvUhgpk4
Yellen had previously criticized Trump’s economic strategy during an interview last week on CNN, where she described the Trump-era tariffs as “the worst self-inflicted policy wound I’ve ever seen in my career inflicted on our economy.”
“The Trump tariff plans are doing immense damage to our economy,” she told CNN’s Anderson Cooper during her first televised interview since President Trump returned to office.
The same politicians who sold American workers out to foreign countries for decades now say an American manufacturing renaissance is a "pipe dream" that isn't even a "desirable goal."
Despite her remarks, American investment in domestic manufacturing continues to surge.
On the same day as Yellen’s comments, tech giant Nvidia revealed plans to expand its AI operations within the U.S. The company announced it will build AI supercomputers in Texas and invest up to $500 billion into American AI production infrastructure.
“The engines of the world’s AI infrastructure are being built in the United States for the first time,” said Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang.
“Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the incredible and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthens our supply chain and boosts our resiliency.”
The contrast between Yellen’s skepticism and Nvidia’s multibillion-dollar commitment highlights an ongoing divide over the future of U.S. industrial policy under the renewed America First agenda.

Following President Donald Trump’s exchange with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, where he accused the network of hating the country, host Dana Bash addressed the remarks while appearing visibly bothered and frustrated.
“CNN over there doesn’t want to put [the numbers] out because they don’t like putting out good numbers … because I think they hate our country. It’s a shame, really,” Trump said.
Bash rebuked Trump for accusing the network of withholding positive information about his administration from the public out of hatred.
Trump was asked by that country’s leader why the media does not promote the number of immigrants his administration has deported.
“Well, they get out … but the fake news,” Trump said, gesturing toward reporters gathered in the room.
“CNN over there, doesn’t want to put them out because they don’t like putting out good numbers … because I think they hate our country. It’s a shame, really.”
Bash pushed back on Trump’s comments about her network.
“I just want to say for the record … CNN does not hate our country,” she said.
“That should go without saying. I’ve been here for 32 years. And I see a rhetorical device in him trying to say such a thing. That said, I want to focus on the news that we heard.”
Watch:
Trump also interrupted CNN’s Kaitlan Collins after she attempted to ask a question on tariffs.
As Trump opened the floor to reporters, scanning the room for questions, Collins began to ask, “On tariffs, is there an update…”
However, Trump swiftly cut the CNN reporter off, refusing to let her finish.
“No, not you,” Trump immediately replied in response to Collins.
