CNN’s Scott Jennings Slams the Leftist Media’s Narrative on Trump-Epstein Files
Scott Jennings, CNN’s sole conservative voice, destroyed the leftist media’s claims that President Trump sent pedophile Jeffrey Epstein a “bawdy” letter on his 50th birthday, three years before his sexual misconduct became public knowledge. The supposed letter was included in a leather-bound album, which the convicted pedophile hid away.
The propaganda media has taken this story and used it to distract from Trump’s victory in passing the landmark “Big, Beautiful Bill” that slashed over $9 billion in wasteful spending. Jennings was responding to “CNN NewsNight” host Abby Phillip, who brought up the allegations.
“I mean, my reaction to reading this was, ‘So?’” Jennings said. “I mean, 2003, before anything had happened, we know Donald Trump knew the guy. We also know he disowned him and kicked him out of his club. I was waiting all day long for this rumoring of a bombshell. This looks like kind of a dud to me.”
Meanwhile, President Trump warned that he would sue the Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch personally, for failing to acknowledge that the alleged letter is fake.
“The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued,” Trump wrote on the social media network, Truth Social.
The president claimed that Murdoch had promised to address the fake letter, but obviously failed to handle the situation. The Wall Street Journal‘s Emma Tucker was also warned by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt that the letter was fake, but reporedly “didn’t want to hear that.”
As a result of the letter being published, Mr. Trump is Suing the Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp., and Mr. Murdoch personally.
“The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don’t even exist,” Trump added. “President Trump has already beaten George Stephanopoulos/ABC, 60 Minutes/CBS, and others, and looks forward to suing and holding accountable the once great Wall Street Journal.”
In the mean time, CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten was stunned that Trump’s popularity among Republicans soared amid the Epstein outrage that Democrats have tried to foment. According to a CNN poll, Trump’s popularity has increased from 86% to 88% among Republicans. Quinnipiac’s poll found that the president’s popularity had increased from 87% to 90%.
“You might think his approval ratings were going down with Republicans—if anything, they’re going up,” Enten said.
“He is at the apex, or close thereto, in terms of his popularity with Republican voters,” Enten added.
According to Enten, less than 1% of Republican voters feel that the Epstein debacle is among the country’s top concerns.
“On X, all you hear about is the Epstein files,” he said, “but how about out in the real public?”
“Not 1%—one respondent,” he lamented.
“Because the bottom line is most Americans say it’s not high up on their priority list,” he continued.
Enten opined that Trump’s credibility has not suffered because the Epstein debacle hasn’t caused widespread nationwide outrage.
While many Americans want to know the truth behind the Epstein files, other issues, such as border security and the economy, dominate the minds of ordinary people.
