Perfectionism And “A Sense Of Urgency” Are Characteristics Of White Supremacy, According To NASA

Footage shared on social media reveals NASA’s diversity, equity, and inclusion training features engineers claiming they “feel shame” for being white and taking part in “white supremacy culture.”

The video was shared by conservative outlet TENET Media, and features two sections of the DEI training program.

The first element features a white woman explaining how she felt her actions to support minority groups did not go far enough, adding that she held “a lot of shame and regret” for her previous decision making. She also said she was looking forward to the DEI session to make her workplace “more anti-racist” going forward.

In another clip from the seminar, another speaker shared a slide containing characteristics of “white supremacy culture.” Such traits apparently include perfectionism, fear of open conflict, individualism, a sense of urgency and the idea that “progress is bigger, more.”

“These are those different characteristics that you probably see coming up a lot in our workspaces, especially in the practice of science,” she told the seminar. “Perfectionism; a sense of urgency – I’m sure all of us are feeling a sense of urgency about some of the deadlines we may have right now.”

NASA’s DEI training caught the attention of many online, including X owner Elon Musk.

Others questioned whether the space agency had its priorities in order.

There was also a reference to the astronauts stranded in space.

California Democrats Want To Give Illegal Aliens $150,000 Towards Their First Home

California could approve a new measure that would make illegal immigrants eligible for up to $150,000 loans for down payments using taxpayer funding.

The proposed legislation, introduced by California Democrat Joaquin Arambula, would permit illegal aliens to apply for a state-sponsored down payment for 20% of their first mortgage under the Dream for All home loan program.

While currently low-income first-time buyers are already eligible, Arambula’s bill aims to extend this to “tax-paying illegal aliens,” as if there is such a thing.

“This bill would specify that an applicant who meets all other requirements for a loan under the program including, but not limited to, any requirements imposed on the agency in administering the program by specified entities, and who is otherwise eligible under applicable federal and state law, shall not be disqualified solely based on the applicant’s immigration status,” the legislation states.

If passed, the bill will free up $300 million from the state’s general fund. All applicants will still be required to go through the state lottery system which, in the past year, saw less than 10% of eligible residents selected for government assistance.

California’s currently in the political spotlight given it’s the home of Democratic Party nominee Kamala Harris. Her tenure as Vice President has seen illegal immigration skyrocket since January 2021, with conservative critics labeling her the “border czar” under Joe Biden’s administration.

Many were critical of the state’s plans to use taxpayer dollars to fund housing for illegal aliens.

Others came up with alternative solutions in response to the bill.

CNN Commentator Stuns Liberal Panel Into Silence At The DNC

For much of the past week, the Democratic National Convention has been a non-stop Donald Trump-bashing affair.

Absent of new ideas and influential policy, the DNC has largely focused on the so-called risks of a Trump presidency rather than addressing the issues currently facing America.

It’s a desperate measure. Although the former president has been a domineering figure in U.S. politics for the best part of a decade, he was only commander-in-chief for four of those years. By contrast, the Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years – a fact which a conservative commentator on CNN pointed out on a panel discussion day three of the DNC.

Commentator Scott Jennings, addressed the liberal panel following the speech by Minnesota Gov. and Kamala Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz.

“The gaffe that I still see in all of these speeches, as good as they were, is that she’s in the White House right now,” Jennings said on CNN. “Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years.”

“For all the talk about divisions and problems in the country and people are hurting, Democrats have mostly controlled this country…. and somehow, it’s still all Trump’s fault and somehow she hasn’t been at the center of it. So to me, that’s still the glaring hole of this campaign that hasn’t yet been solved at this convention. How do you explain all the problems that will be solved, by the person who is currently in there, for the past 3.5 years, that is supposed to already be working on solving them?” he asked.

With CNN’s commentators stunned into silence, many on social media praised Jennings for his remarks.

Others noted the reaction from CNN’s liberal pundits.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Affordable Housing Plan May Be Better For Millions Of Americans Than Kamala Harris’ Proposals

As the presidential election looms ever closer, attention is turning to an issue which affects tens of millions of Americans: affordable housing.

The inflation of housing prices has not been matched by an equivalent rise in median household incomes. The price-to-income ratio, which once hovered around 4:1 across the nation, has skewed in recent years with houses becoming ever more unaffordable for millions across the country.

Keen to earn the votes which will secure them a four-year term in the White House, presidential candidates are drawing up affordable housing plans to ensure more Americans can get onto the property ladder.

X user Omega Rio, known by his handle @GibsonAubr11146, shared a comparison between Democrat nominee Kamala Harris and independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for a $425,000 mortgage.

The Vice President is offering a payment plan where first-time homeowners received a $25,000 down payment from the federal government. Accumulating 6.5% interest, the monthly repayment will equate to $2,686 per month, with a total loan cost of just below $1million over a 30-year period.

By contrast, Kennedy’s payment plan does not feature a down payment. Instead, new homeowners will receive a government-backed loan at a 3% interest rate. This results in a monthly payment of $1,791 – just under $1,000 less per month than Harris’ plan – coming to a total of $645,053 across three decades.

“Kennedy’s plan not only is the better option for the cost of the mortgage, but it also doesn’t cost the taxpayers a dime. In contrast, Harris plans to use tax funds to pay for other people’s down payment,” Rio said.

One social media user drew a comparison with student loans.

Others had praise for the independent candidate.

There was also criticism for Harris’ proposals.

Kamala Harris’ Proposed Platform Will Open Floodgates To Illegal Aliens

The Democratic National Convention has offered a first glimpse into Kamala Harris’ platform she will implement if elected President of the United States on November 5.

One particular pledge caught the eye of conservative commentators on X, and is a damning indictment of a Vice President who served as Border Czar amid an unprecedented influx of illegal immigrants into the nation.

Director of the Center for Homeland Security & Immigration at the America First Policy Institute, Rob Law, shared details of what he called the “most radical amnesty bill ever written” under Harris’ proposed U.S. Citizenship Act.

The Act pledges to only remove noncitizens if they have been convicted of a felony, or at least three misdemeanor offenses. Alas, those who have used taxpayer funded welfare, or voted unlawfully in a U.S. election, will still be offered amnesty.

Furthermore, illegal aliens who have been convicted of an offense beyond a ten-year period prior to their citizenship application will also enjoy an ineligibility waiver.

Social Security numbers will also be provided to each “lawful perspective immigrant,” meaning even those who do not ultimately acquire citizenship will still possess a Social Security number prior to a decision on their status.

Last, but by no means least, the bill proposes returning those who were deported under the Trump administration for “humanitarian purposes, to ensure family unity, or if such a waiver is otherwise in the public interest.”

Law concluded that the “radical bill rewards illegal aliens and traffickers while putting Americans last.”

Georgia’s “Far-Right” Election Board Irks The New York Times

Georgia, once again, will be a state to watch in this year’s presidential election.

The state’s voting record in 2020 became the subject of a nationwide controversy when Joe Biden pipped Donald Trump to the state’s 16 Electoral College votes by a majority of just under a razor-thin 12,000. The close result led to a nationwide debate over the integrity of elections in the U.S., as well as a completely bogus and politically motivated indictment against Donald Trump.

Trump’s dispute over the result saw constant criticism from the mainstream media, including the New York Times. Many brushed aside legitimate concerns as unevidenced claims – something which Georgia’s election board has now sought to rectify ahead of the upcoming election.

Effectively, the board has introduced new measures to ensure that repeat of the 2020 controversy won’t happen again. Going forward, they’ll be including a mandatory 3pm deadline on the Friday after an election to ensure a fair ballot, and also giving increased power to audit the vote. In a 3-2 decision on Monday, the board voted to expand the powers of county election boards to investigate vote tallies before certifying them – which is controversial only to those in favor of cheating.

The New York Times, however, described the board as a “far-right takeover” with “new power to influence results in 2024.”

There are two issues with such rhetoric.

The first is that effectively mirrors the criticism aimed towards Trump in the aftermath of 2020; if you don’t like the result, you can claim it was rigged. The other, perhaps more prudent, is that the NYT is effectively accusing the Republican-controlled board of manipulating the process in favor of a candidate – something it ridiculed Trump for doing three years prior.

It’s ironic that Democrats can call anyone “election deniers” – when it’s evident that everyone is aware elections can be rigged. The only difference is who is believed to be doing the rigging.

Social media users also offered their own insight on the story.

Another noted the NYT’s use of the term “far-right”.

Pro-Palestine Protests To Dominate DNC… Including Feminists & LGBTQ+ For Palestine

The Democratic National Convention began today (Monday, August 19) and, as expected, there’s going to be a lot of protests… from other leftists.

Despite the nonsensical efforts by Kamala Harris’ campaign to offer a fresh start from the administration she is currently a fundamental part of, protesters will nevertheless be gathering outside the convention in Chicago, IL.

The elephant in the room cannot be avoided. A small but growing portion of the party’s leftist elements are pro-Palestine. Desperate attempts to negotiate a ceasefire by Secretary of State Antony Blinken have only resulted in a renewed ground offensive by Israeli forces – reducing the likelihood of a peace agreement.

Tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters are expected to descend on the four-day convention, including the Feminists & LGBTQ+ for Palestine group. While many of us thought “Queers for Palestine” was peak stupid – this manages to surpass even them.

The bizarre combination of the rainbow and Palestinian flags are unlikely to be seen anywhere else, not least in the Gaza Strip. While the West Bank is comparatively more tolerant to the rights of homosexuals, the Hamas-controlled Gaza contains some of the harshest persecution against LGBTQ+ individuals in the world.

It’s contradictory, at the vest best, and virtue signaling at the worst.

Indeed, it’s hard to imagine the group’s support will be wholly welcomed in the Palestinian state.

Others think it’s stupidity which prompts such support.

As always, a meme can explain anything.

Voter Registration Data: GOP Picks Up Hundreds of Thousands of Voters While Democrats Hemorrhage Millions

Voters have left the Democratic Party en masse over President Joe Biden’s tenure, according to new data shared on X.

Overall, Republicans saw a net gain of nearly 400,000 registered voters since November 2020, while Democrats have hemorrhaged nearly 3 million. Democrats suffered net losses in every state except California ( where they gained a net 71,058) – a state which only Democrats could think is heading in the right direction.

The Democrats have seen major losses in Florida (-979,487) and New York (-410,386), as well as the swing state of Pennsylvania (-329,289). Pennsylvania, which holds 19 Electoral College votes, has also witnessed losses for the GOP albeit on a much smaller scale (-1,466).

Republicans have seen gains in California (+148,823), Florida (+151,456), and New Jersey (+152,918), though the margins aren’t enough to flip California or New Jersey by a long shot. Both the GOP and the Democrats have lost around 130,000 registered voters in Colorado, while New York (-49,674) and Massachusetts (-61,042) have been particularly unfriendly to Republicans – though that’s hardly a surprise.

The swing states also tell an interesting tale. The Democrats have lost around 260,000 registered voters in Arizona and Nevada, but these have not necessarily translated into a pro-Republican electorate with the GOP losing just over 75,000 registered voters in these two crucial states. Still, the result is a net positive for Republicans.

Michael Pruser, who shared the figures, addressed important questions from users on X.

Indeed, if the majority of voters are dissatisfied with their choices, then we could be in for an interesting election.

European Union Accused Of Election Interference After Letter Warning Of Elon Musk Of “Legal Obligations”

The European Union threatened X owner Elon Musk with “legal obligations” prior to his interview with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Musk held a landmark two-hour conversation with the former president on Tuesday, August 12, in what marked Trump’s return to the platform from what he was once permanently banned.

Writing “in the context of recent events” in the United Kingdom – which is no longer a part of the EU – European Commissioner Thierry Breton reminded Musk that the broadcast would be accessible to European citizens. Furthermore, Breton warned of the “obligation to ensure X’s compliance with EU law”.

“This notably means ensuring, on one hand, that freedom of expression and of information, including media freedom and pluralism, are effectively protected and, on the other hand, that all proportionate and effective mitigation measures are put in place regarding the amplification of harmful content in connection with relevant events, including live streaming,” Breton wrote.

“This is important against the background of recent examples of public unrest brought about by the amplification of content that promotes hatred, disorder, incitement to violence, or certain instances of disinformation.”

X CEO Linda Yaccarino described the move as an “attempt to stretch a law intended to apply in Europe to political activities in the U.S.”, adding that it “patronizes European citizens, suggesting they are incapable” of drawing their own conclusions from the discussion.

Social media users were largely in agreement with this sentiment.

Others suggested that the EU was afraid of the possibility of another Trump presidency.

Harris Campaign Caught Editing News Article Descriptions In Google Search Results

Kamala Harris’ campaign has been using a technique in order to manipulate headlines and descriptions on Google in a bid to appear supported by mainstream media outlets.

First reported by Axios, the practice involves editing headlines within Google search ads so it appears that major publishers are in support of the Vice President and Democratic Party presidential nominee. Outlets such as NPR, the Guardian, Reuters, and CBS News are among those reportedly affected.

In one scenario where The Guardian ran a story about Harris’ views on abortion, supporting text underneath (from the Harris campaign) adds, “VP Harris is a champion for reproductive freedom and will stop Trump’s abortion bans.”

The move has caught many off guard. While permissible under Google’s own policy, the sponsored content replicates news articles in a way that means it’s not immediately evident that the text has been written by the Harris campaign.

The Guardian has stressed the need to ensure its “trusted brand was being used appropriately and with our permission,” while CNN, USA Today and NPR said they were unaware of the practice being used against them.

Google has confirmed that the impacted content is “easily distinguishable from Search results” and no policies have been broken. It also noted that the Trump campaign has refrained from the practice so far.

Many on social media were critical of the campaign tactic.

Others questioned the legitimacy of the Harris campaign.

There were also some concerns over the processes at Google.
