New White House Press Sec. Tells Liberal Press Corps How It’s Going to Be

Oh, what a difference a change of administration makes. Until a few weeks ago, we had to listen to three years of this from the White House press room:

That’s President Biden’s press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre. You’d be hard pressed to find a presidential spokeswoman who answered fewer direct questions, or who threw more tantrums or scolded more reporters when she didn’t like being questioned on a sensitive topic. 

And what was a sensitive topic? Anything connected to reality. Jean-Pierre would get exasperated and snippy at any reporter who asked about Biden’s obvious senility, or about the legality of his attempts to make American taxpayers pay off the student loan debts of individual students. Or about anything. 

Like the rest of the pathological narcissists in the Democrat party, Jean-Pierre thought very highly of herself. She made sure to point out that she was “making history” by being the first black lesbian to hold her job when she was new at it. Then, on her way out, she waxed self-lovingly about how she contemplates the many little girls “looking at me,” and how she hopes she’s “an inspiration” to them. 

The page has turned. President Donald Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt is just 27 years old, but she has a direct and commanding no-nonsense communication style that would leave seasoned public speakers envious. 

Here she is explaining-telling, not asking-that the administration is putting tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China, for their part in the fentanyl epidemic that “has killed tens of millions of Americans.”

Want more? Leavitt’s got you covered. In the same press briefing, she told the plain truth about the probable origins of Covid-19. But more importantly, she pointed out that Trump and Republicans were smeared as “conspiracy theorists” when they talked about the lab-leak hypothesis that even the CIA is now saying is likely where the disease came from. 

Then, Leavitt heats it up with an unequivocal declaration that no one can expect to get a job in government anymore by trading on their skin color, sexuality, or any other “protected” characteristic. Competence, she said, will be the deciding factor in hiring decisions:

Buttigieg is Back to Referee Trump’s Response to D.C. Plane Crash, Oh Boy!

Liberals are immune to irony. There’s no other explanation. Take former Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg. On January 29, an American Airlines regional flight collided with a military blackhawk helicopter in Washington, D.C.. Tragically, both craft plunged into the Potomac river, and there were no survivors. According to the most recent reports, 67 total people are dead. 

Freshly out of a job, Buttigieg seems to still be working for the ousted Biden administration. He’s on social media blasting President Donald Trump for his response to the aviation accident.

The irony is palatable; Buttigieg is incompetent, always was incompetent, and has no business at all criticizing the Trump administration’s response to the recent plane crash. Parachuted by Biden into the role of Transportation Secretary with no experience behind him but being the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Buttigieg could not be relied on to even show up to major disasters involving the nation’s transport infrastructure. 

Remember the massive train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, in February of 2023? A Norfolk Southern freight train derailed. Thirty-eight cars went off the tracks, and some of them contained toxic chemicals. Making matters worse, authorities burned some of them off, leading to a huge plume of toxic smoke that forced local residents to evacuate. Despite the media’s lack of coverage on the details at the time, locals started posting videos showing thousands of dead fish floating in contaminated rivers after the accident. Years later, the state’s natural resources department admitted that at least 38,000 wild animals were killed by the toxic cloud. 

Where was Transportation Secretary Pete? Nowhere to be found for weeks after the disaster. People on the ground were furious and didn’t buy his excuse that he waited to visit until after the most important responders had done their work. Overall, his tenure as Transportation Secretary got mixed reviews, with some praising what he did with the budget he had, while other commentators pointed to numerous transportation disasters—train derailments, near-misses at airports with planes nearly colliding—on his watch.

Ex-Vice President Mike Pence took aim at Buttigieg taking two months’ of “paternity leave” from his job in the middle of crises after Buttigieg and his male partner adopted newborn twins. “When Pete’s two children were born, he took two months’ maternity leave whereupon thousands of travelers were stranded in airports, the air traffic system shut down, and airplanes nearly collided on our runways,” ABC News reported Pence saying. 

However history may eventually view his tenure, the American people don’t seem to think very highly of Buttigieg or his Monday morning quarterbacking over Trump’s response to the Jan. 29 plane crash. Stars and Leftists Melt Down Over Deportations, But Fans Don’t Care

Americans should expect that it’s going to take some time for leftists and Democrats to accept the reality of what they’ve lost. And they have lost everything; the White House, the Senate, the House, and the Supreme Court. They’ve also lost majority support in the public on almost every issue that obsesses them from “transgender” ideology to soft-on-crime policies to coddling and paying for millions of illegal immigrants. 

But you can tell that the leftist establishment doesn’t yet believe this is real. They’re trying the same histrionics and absurd accusations against conservative government officials that they’ve been using since they lost their minds over Donald Trump’s first term as President. 

The media establishment, for some reason no one has been able to figure out, seems to have no higher priority than wrapping its emotional arms around illegal aliens. We’ve seen the highest number of border jumpers in history under the Biden presidency, and somehow, dangerous young men from third world countries with no papers set Democrat hearts aflutter. 

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is flapping her Muppet gums about how the price of coffee is going to rise because President Trump issued an ultimatum to Columbia. A few days ago, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, refused to allow two U.S. military planes filled with illegal Colombians from landing in the country. Apparently, he thought he had this option, but he didn’t. Over the weekend Trump threatened immediate tariffs against all Colombian imports, and the country folded like the cheap South American socialist dictatorship that it is. Not only are they “happily” taking back all their countrymen, but the president is sending his own plane to help. All while the price of coffee remains unaffected.

Enforcing boundaries with tough consequences works, but this is a new concept for leftists. ABC’s anchor Martha Raddatz sat down with “border czar” Tom Homan and spluttered in shock when he confirmed that, yes, Americans are going to see military planes deporting illegals every single day. She seemed genuinely disoriented at the very ordinary, standard practice of, well, deporting people who are here illegally. Homan was unflappable and refused to comfort her or tell her that the U.S. is going to be “nice” about the issue. Take a look. 

Hollywood stars are having similar difficulties adjusting to the new reality that looks more like normal than anything we’ve had for 10 years. Former Disney child star and recording artist Selena Gomez just learned a hard lesson about being a ridiculous child about protecting illegal aliens. The rich, young singer, who is herself an American, doesn’t see herself that way. In a tearful video full of what the young call “ugly crying,” Gomez whimpered and wiped her eyes over the pain of seeing “her people” treated this way. 

Her people? Does she really mean to say that illegal border jumpers and criminals are “her people?” Why are her fellow American citizens not “her people?” To her shock, Gomez’s fans hit back at her online histrionics so hard that she pulled down the video.

It looks like people are getting tired of the “turn on the tears and then film them for sympathy” act that’s become so common among celebrities and woke activists. 

With these kinds of theatrics, it’s impossible to tell how much of the emotion is genuine and how much of it is a complete put-on. But it does seem plausible that young starlets like Gomez really are so emotionally damaged that they’re actually moved to tears by things that make sense to the rest of us. There’s a reason the status of “child star” invokes images of exploitation and pushy stage parents for most people. Whether performers like Gomez can come back to reality is an open question.

Teacher Has Some Tough Talkin’ for the Feds: How’s That Gonna Work Out?

Back when America had families, most people remembered trying to get away with things before Dad got home. Many a mother–or babysitter–could be heard to say, “Just wait until your father gets home.” That signaled that shenanigans were coming to an end, your room had better get cleaned, and your backside might smart tomorrow. 

Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States is the biggest daddy-coming-home moment this country has ever seen. On his first day in office he signed hundreds of executive orders, just as he promised. With the stroke of a pen, Trump wiped out Joe Biden’s demented reinterpretation of laws meant to protect female students, clarifying that the word woman means “woman,” not “man who says he’s a woman.” 

He closed every single Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) office in the federal government and put every single employee working for such on unpaid leave. No more tax dollars will be siphoned off by leftists posing as good people while they practice illegal racial discrimination against white people, men, and normal Americans. He shocked the cosmopolitan world elite at Davos by telling those globalist bastards that from here on out, the U.S. recognizes only two sexes: the real ones, male and female. 

For leftists who’ve been in the cultural catbird seat for too long, the transition will be difficult. Predictably, many of them are squawking tough, acting as though their TikTok sass will be enough to let them continue getting away with whatever they want. 

Here is one such case, a transgender “woman” public school teacher with super strong words of warning about any customs and border agents who dare to enforce immigration law in school. 

Quoth the instructor: “ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) can now raid classrooms, and as a high school teacher I just wanna make one thing clear,” it croaks. “If someone tries to come in my classroom and take one of my students, one of us [head waggle] isn’t leaving the classroom. Play with me.”

I think we can imagine how that would go.

In his description on the video, the teacher, now named “Katie,” attempts to pretend the clear threat in the video isn’t actually a threat, while explicitly confirming he’s only saying he’s only saying that for legal reasons.

No the brightest bulb, clearly.

Somehow, it seems more likely that this morbidly obese man with a fetish is going to be the one who loses that showdown.

Utah College Girl Confronted With Male “Dorm Mom,” And SHE Has to Move

When parents think of sending a daughter off to college, they usually have some concerns for her safety. University years are often filled with drink, drugs, and partying, and even “good girls” can find themselves caught up in a youth lifestyle that can lead to bad outcomes. 

One of the ways young women and their parents have traditionally tried to increase safety in college is by choosing female-only dormitories. These have been widely available at U.S. colleges for decades. But in the age of “trans” where everyone gets to simply assert what sex they are and be treated as if the statement were true, there’s nowhere for young women to get away from men in their living spaces. It’s impossible to find out how many schools actually respect single-sex living quarters, but this “queer” organization, Campus Pride, gleefully reports that 470 U.S. colleges offer “gender-inclusive housing.”

That’s what one mom just found out when she sent her daughter to Utah State University to stay in the Merrill Hall dormitory. Though it is not clear from the University’s website whether Merrill Hall is officially “co-ed,” mother Cheryl Saltzman believed it was a women’s-only living space. If you try to search for this information, all you get from the University’s website is a proud declaration that “gender-inclusive housing is available in Wasatch Hall.”

The whole statement is nauseating enough to reprint here in the original Wokeish: “Utah State University is committed to making each resident feel welcomed and included in our campus communities, particularly through room options welcoming to all gender identities, expressions and preferences.”

Here’s what welcomed Saltzman’s daughter when she moved into what she thought was a girls-only dorm:

That’s “Marcie.” Brace for it: “Marcie” is the “Dorm Mom.”

X commentator Eric Moutsous has more details. You won’t be surprised to learn that “Marcie’s” mother thinks it’s just fine and dandy, saying only that she wanted other students and parents to be “comfortable” with her son living among the girls. Young men from stable families rarely put on what looks like a teddy and label themselves a “girl.”

Mother Cheryl Saltzman’s posted her account of the situation in a Facebook post, reading:

A biological male (trans with she/her pronouns) just moved into my daughter’s dorm (Merrill hall) on Utah State university’s campus… it is a girls only dorm

The woman I called was impatient with me…

You can move into the dorm with the gender that you identify, I did read that last night in the contract. However the contempt toward anyone uncomfortable with it, is genuinely and deeply enraging

UPDATE: they immediately gave her two apartment options and she chose one. She will move tomorrow… Anyway told the girl that was going to be her roommate and move in tomorrow about the situation so she wasn’t blindsided… So 😔 … and I’m still ticked that she has to move because of this

Naturally, Saltzman’s daughter has to move. But the young man claiming to be a girl—you can take one look at him and see he’s a creep—gets to stay. Trans gets what trans wants no matter what.

OH NO! Quad-Demic Is Going to Kill Your Grandma Again!

Are you ready for a return to medical dictatorship and social hysteria over covering your face? Well, your “betters” in state government and public health institutions are ready to start bossing you around again. Drunk with the unprecedented control they developed over Americans during the Covid years, public health mouthpieces and state politicians want to scare the bejesus out of you all over again. 

This time they’re calling it a “Quad-Demic.” That’s the spiffy brand-name health wonks have given to a very ordinary thing that has happened all throughout human history: the presence of multiple diseases in the population at the same time. The “Quad-Demic” includes Covid, influenza, Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and Norovirus. The latter is one of the most common food-borne illnesses, sadly well-known to those who take cruises on ships. 

Doctors seem to alarmed (and they’d like you to be alarmed) that cases of norovirus are “at their highest level for this time of year since 2012.” But. . .so what? News readers will see that exact phrase in almost all mainstream media coverage, but is it actually significant, or is it just phrased to sound dire? Disease incidence goes up and down all the time in the natural world. Just what, exactly, is noteworthy about the fact that the numbers in 2024 are as high as they were 12 years ago? 

Some hospitals and states are putting their mask mandates back in place (many, such as those in Southern California, never ended them-who wants to give up that kind of power?). It almost feels pointless to ask why, but we must ask why. Despite the claims of everyone from Anthony Fauci to  your local general practitioner, masks simply do not stop the spread of respiratory viruses. This isn’t an opinion, it’s not  “in controversy.” Stating that masks stop disease spread is factually untrue. For goodness’ sake, the National Institutes of Health itself acknowledges this reality in published papers. 

It should be clear to any intelligent adult by now that these bizarrely dire claims of disease and pandemic–we never acted this way in history before 2020–are simply a way for governments and dictatorial public health types to exercise power over citizens for “our own good.”

Prolific X commentator Benny Johnson found this map, which seems almost designed to put fear in the viewer with its blazing red “danger” coloring over states where people are getting colds, flu, and the same old respiratory ailments we’ve always had.

New York Post Takes Journos to the Woodshed Over Lying About Biden Senility

It’s rare today to see a major media outlet have anything critical to say of anything, anyone, or any practice in the media itself. While the news business has always been clubby, it did not used to march in absolute political lockstep. But it has done so most obviously since at least 2016 with the first election of Donald Trump to the presidency. 

The New York Post has started off the year with a bang in a long overdue excoriation of the craven lying of basically all of the press regarding President Joe Biden’s obvious senility. It’s not surprising that it’s the Post taking the issue on, as that paper has every reason to be critical of its colleagues and competitors. The New York Post is America’s oldest newspaper, and it was the paper that broke the Hunter Biden laptop story. 

Hunter, the president’s son, abandoned a laptop at a computer repair shop in Maryland. Predictably, the contents leaked, and what contents they were. There was evidence that Hunter and his father Joe were engaged in unsavory, unethical, and possibly illegal dealings with Ukrainian businesses like the energy company Burisma. Not only that, but the computer was full of prurient photos depicting Hunter Biden smoking hard drugs and consorting with what appeared to be prostitutes. 

The All-Democrat-All-The-Time mainstream media either ignored the story, or accused the Post of making the whole thing up. Under its pre-Elon-Musk ownership, Twitter banned the New York Post’s account entirely, preventing it from posting anything on the platform. All this was a far cry from the heroic narrative about the hard-hitting independent press that has lingered on since the days of the Watergate scandal depicted in All the President’s Men. 

Now the Post strikes back. In a blistering editorial, the editorial board accuses its media colleagues of exactly what they did: “President-elect Donald Trump is forcing the Democratic politicians who spent years lying about President Biden’s senility to take their bitter medicine, but we’re more concerned about the toady media who played along . . . Every last [Democrat who covered it up] deserves scorn, but so do the journalists who not only let these fantastical fibs go unchallenged, but even parroted the lies: Biden was showing no signs of mental decline, they insisted — and it was offensive, ignorant and borderline bigoted to even suggest otherwise.”

What’s so infuriating about the press trying to hide Biden’s senility was that everyone could see it. Despite what your Democrat aunt might claim, and despite what talking heads on television claimed, no adult American of ordinary intelligence could not see that Joe Biden has been in dementia for years. 

The New York Post points out, “The entire idea that Biden was anything but healthy — virile, even — was treated as a right-wing, tin-foil-hat talking point.The public wasn’t buying it: Back in February, 86% of Americans thought Biden was too old to serve a second term because they had watched his decline happen in real time, and over the course of several years.”

It’s hard to recollect a time in living memory when the entire press apparatus lied about the most obvious deficiencies in the leader of the free world, and tried to tell sane Americans that it was they who were losing their minds for noticing the truth.

Men in Women’s Prisons and the Predictable Results are Just “New Normal” Now

Take a look at this individual:

What do you see? If you’re like most people, you probably see someone who looks male with long hair, but “most people” also aren’t willing to say that you see that in public. Noticing real things, such as the obvious sex of other people, has been forbidden since about 2014 when Time Magazine put a transvestite on the cover and told us that trans activism was the “next civil rights frontier.”

The man in the photo is Christopher Scott Williams, a transgender “woman” (male) that was placed in a women’s prison – only to then predictably sexually assault his female cellmate. The inmate is now suing the State Department of Corrections.

That’s right. This man convicted of child molestation was placed in a women’s prison. If that shocks you, you have not been reading the news. For at least 10 years in America and other Western countries, woke prison officials have decided that men who put on panties and claim to be ladies are, in fact, ladies, and should be housed with ladies. No, they apparently see no potential for violent problems. Or, probably more accurately, they know exactly what’s going to happen and they simply don’t care. 

It is impossible to know how many men are in women’s prisons, as officials are actively lying to the public and hiding reality.

In the current case, convicted child molester Williams, who claims to be a woman, got himself a nice spot in a women’s prison in Washington. An actual female inmate (she’s out now) alleges that he raped her, and she’s suing the prison. According to the Daily Mail, Williams beat a male prison guard so violently the guard lost consciousness. 

Yet, between the fact that Williams is a man and the fact that he molested children, prison officials could not see any reason at all to question the wisdom of putting a woman in a locked cell with him. When are we going to wake up from this madness?

Mass Murderer With ISIS Flag in New Orleans “Not Terrorist”: FBI

The Trump inauguration cannot come fast enough. For years Americans have been lied to by the government, obviously, but it’s become unbearable to hear government officials straight up tells us that we’re not seeing what we’re seeing. 

At least 15 people are dead in New Orleans after the latest Islamist attack. According to cops, 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar (laughably referred to as “of Texas” by media) plowed his pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon street, killing 10 and injuring many more on the first day of 2025. Jabbar then jumped out of the rented truck and opened fire on police. Thankfully, none of the cops were hurt, and Jabbar was shot dead. 

Amazingly, the FBI initially claimed that this was *not* a terrorist event.

“This is not a terrorist event,” the FBI spokeswoman declares confidently. How could she even doubt terrorism as a motive in the immediate aftermath. It’s even worse than that – because an ISIS flag had been found on the truck used to carry out the attack. That would, yes, make this a “terrorist event.”

Hell, you can see the flag on a pole on the back of the suspect’s truck!

Why is the FBI insisting on lying about the obvious murderous intent displayed by so many Muslim immigrant men who end up in the United States? No, it isn’t most Muslims, or most Muslim immigrants. But it’s obviously a much higher percentage than it should be. Does the FBI consider itself American? Does it care about its own country, or even the safety of the families of its own agents and employees? 

There’s more. If the report from this X/Twitter account is accurate, Jabbar has donated at least twice to the progressive Democrat PAC ActBlue:

We can probably look forward now to being told by the Democratic National Committee and its adherents that Jabbar was a “far-right extremist,” too. I mean, why not? Despite attack after attack by Muslims, our own government assures us that it’s conservative American white men who pose the greatest danger to our society.

Minnesota: “Whites Need Not Apply”

Modern life seems like a constant exercise in watching society and its people forget reality. Things that everyone knew yesterday are suddenly “not known.” Basic rules of fair and ethical conduct, we find, aren’t so basic after all. Take the issue of “trans.” Before about 10 years ago, no one really believed there was such a thing as “being born in the wrong body.” No one actually believed that people could change their sex by declaration, or by surgery. 

Then, all of a sudden, not only did people “forget” what they knew yesterday, but they punished everyone around  who reminded them of the reality that they too participated in until the winds changed. It became unspeakable to question anything “trans,” even if the surgeons were chafing at the bit to mutilate children. And now, we await a Supreme Court decision on whether the state of Tennessee has the legal right to forcibly stop surgeons and parents from permanently mutilating children’s genitals. 

That’s where “forgetting” reality leads. We have to actually ask the court if it’s legal and allowed to prevent child abuse. 

The issue of race is treated the same. If you’re middle-aged or older, you grew up in a world that watched, or learned about in school, the civil rights movement of the 1960s. The typical American was weaned on Martin Luther King’s insistence that the content of one’s character, not the color of one’s skin, ought to determine how one was treated in society. In short, we learned that racial discrimination was wrong. 

Until we “forgot.” And we have forgotten, but only in one direction. Don’t be fooled: America in 2024 is a quite racist country, but the racism is against whites. The left has successfully shut up, scorned, and cancelled just about everyone who has the temerity to notice it, but those days look like they’re coming to an end. 

It won’t end without more ludicrous tussles over basic reality, though. Take a look at what LibsofTikTok found:

The state of Minnesota is baldly practicing discrimination against aspiring white teachers by dangling financial assistance in front of students so long as they’re not white. It’s incredible. It’s unbelievably brazen. It is the very textbook definition of racism.

And it’s illegal. Federal law has long banned race-based provision of educational and employment opportunities. Everyone knows this. Until they “forgot” it conveniently when it came to white people. 

Will Minnesota pay any price for this? We can only hope that the incoming Trump administration will take action. But the public is fully fed up judging from the reactions on X/Twitter.
