Judge Rules Columbia Protestor Mahmoud Khalil can be Deported

On April 11, a federal judge in Louisiana ruled that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has the authority to deport a Syrian man at the center of pro-Palestinian and anti-Jewish demonstrations and mayhem at New York’s Columbia University. 

Judge Jamee Comans said Mahmoud Khalil, 30, can be deported and that the State Department has the legal authority to expel green card holders (non-citizens) deemed to be agitating against U.S. foreign policy interests. According to the Department of Homeland Security, Khalil never mentioned to the U.S. that he worked in the office of the British embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, that dealt with Syrian issues. DHS said this made Khalil “inadmissible at the time of his adjustment” because he misrepresented himself and his past. 

What riled the U.S. government was Khalil’s involvement with “student” protests against Israel at Columbia University. During these demonstrations, some students and activists denied Jewish students the right to freely move about the campus, threatened them, and took over university buildings by force. 

Judge Comans ruled that Khalil was “deportable” under a law cited by Secretary of State Marco Rubio that allows expulsion of guests in the U.S. who take actions deemed to be antithetical to U.S. foreign policy. 

Advocates for Khalil and pro-Palestinian demonstrators say this is a violation of “free speech,” and that Khalil is being politically persecuted. His lawyer Sabrina Mohamah told media that the decision was “unjust and alarming,” and “a blatant violation of the First Amendment.”

Department of Homeland Security director Kristi Noem countered this view, stating that it was a “privilege” to be given a visa to study in the U.S. and that the country does not have to host guest who support terrorist organizations. “Good riddance,” she said in reaction to the ruling. 

Khalil has been held in custody in a Lousiana prison since March 8 when he was arrested. The court ruling gives him until April 23 to file for relief in the courts, so he’ll be cooling his heels in the U.S. for a bit longer. 

The protests against Israel kicked off at Columbia and other universities after the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists. The militants breached the Israeli border and slaughtered thousands of young people attending an outdoor music festival, raping women and abducting hundreds. Leftist “pro-Palestinian” demonstrators in the U.S. accused Israel of waging “genocide” against Palestinians through its aggressive military response. 

The White House announced the court decision on X/Twitter, using an image of Donald Trump from the day he visited a McDonald’s. The image shows the president waving “goodbye” from a drive through window.

First Court Decision to Rescue a Child from “Trans-Affirming” Mother Comes from Australia

Is it possible that 10 years of complete madness about so-called “transgender” children may be coming to an end? If the following court case in Australia is anything to go on, we may have some hope. 

X/Twitter user Stephanie Bastiaan brings us the news, based on reporting from The Australian. 

An Australian court has, finally, recognized that telling a child that he or she is “born in the wrong body,” and setting the child on a path to a “sex-change” is just plain old child abuse. The court ruled against the child’s mother, and for the father. As it is in almost every case, “transitioning” a child is the act of the mother, and appears to be part of a maternal psychological imbalance rather than anything allegedly wrong with the child. 

The family members are not named, but Australian judge Andrew Strum stripped custody from the boy’s mother. He gave custody to the father, who had tried to stop his wife’s project of “transitioning” their son. The mother claimed her son had been “gender dysphoric” since the age of six, and began taking him to a so-called “gender clinic.” She also started sewing him custom underwear to “flatten” the crotch and hide the appearance of male anatomy. 

The court found that no doctor or clinician had actually diagnosed “gender dysphoria” in the child, and that this appeared to be entirely the mother’s project. Of course, there is no such thing as a “transgender” child (or a “transgender” person) at all, regardless of whatever absurd diagnoses medical professionals may claim. 

According to the case, the mother was trying to start injections of  so-called “puberty blockers,” powerful chemicals that stop normal puberty and set children up for permanent sterilization and other problems. This is the usual course for what are called “trans kids,” with many left permanently unable to have children, along with a host of other potentially life-shortening medical ailments. 

Medical associations and famous clinics are completely captured by the lunatic idea that some children need sex changes. The renowned Mayo Clinic writes approvingly, and falsely, about how “safe” puberty blockers are. 

Not only that, but the court found that the expert witness testifying for the mother was in truth a radical political activist who worked to have children removed from families that would not consent to the barbaric procedure. The entire ruling can be read here.

Until America’s woke phase beginning in about 2015, most of us wouldn’t have believed that our friends, family, and neighbors could believe as they believe, and act as they have acted. When the government violated the constitution during the “pandemic,” the vast majority of adult citizens rolled over and took it. They shut their businesses down, they obeyed illegal orders and stayed inside their homes. But more, millions of Americans cheered these legal and civil liberties violations while turning their own family in to snitch lines. 

We are not the people we thought we were; now we know how many of us would have been good Germans. 

But our compliance, our cooperation with “authorities” who work against our own interests, didn’t pop up overnight. For decades Americans have been under a set of moral myths that developed during the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s. The movement did not merely and only bring fair legal enfranchisement to black people, a goal all civilized people shared. It went further, and made saints out of black people and demons out of whites. 

In 2025, the seeds sown in the 60s are blossoming into rotten fruit. Despite the obvious reality of wildly disproportionate criminal violence committed by blacks, “respectable” media and white Americans won’t tell the truth. They blame white people for the actions of black criminals, going so far as to excuse or justify murders of white people when a black person feels like expressing displeasure. 

The recent killing of white 17-year-old high school track competitor Austin Metcalf by, allegedly, a black teen, is a case in point. According to sources so far, Metcalf was at a track meet and noticed the teen sitting in his (Metcalf’s) assigned spot. When the other teen refused to move, Metcalf allegedly moved the teens’s backpack. This, according to online commentary, justified the black teen stabbing Metcalf in the heart.

That’s right. It’s socially acceptable in 21st century American to justify an apparent murder when the victim is white and pissed off a black man who didn’t want to follow the rules of courtesy. Mr. Baggz calls anyone pointing this out a “white supremacist.”

USA Fencing Expels Female Who Refused to Compete Against “Trans Woman”

The left—which is still every cultural, political, academic, professional, and sporting organization—has been in its temper-tantrum-to-cope “phase” since Donald Trump was elected late last year. No one knows how long it’s going to last, and it’s not showing any signs of slowing. 

Lunatics are firebombing Elon Musk’s Tesla dealerships, Democratic senators with crazy psycho-looking eyes (hi, Cory Booker) are filibustering in the Senate for no reason other than attention. The left side of the aisle, full of women who claim to care about women’s issues, voted en masse against a bill to keep boys out of girls’ sports. And there’s still constant talk of “resistance” by hypnotized leftists who think they’re some sort of revolutionary vanguard in a dystopian novel. 

They’re still not giving in on the most absurd, hysterical plank of the modern leftist platform: transgenderism. It’s amazing. Even 10 years ago, if you had polled the average Democrat voter they would have obviously agreed that it wasn’t fair to allow men to compete against women in sports. They would have looked at you like you were crazy for claiming that a man who declares himself a woman is, actually, a woman. Now they shriek that you’re insane if you don’t believe it. 

It’s an increasingly stupid and desperate “look.” Take this announcement on April 3 from the professional organization USA Fencing:

What “range of perspectives” are they talking about? Debate over the plain fact that men and women are separate sexes. This is fencing’s professional response to public outrage over this:

What you’re seeing is a young woman who forfeited her match because the organization forced her to compete against a man who claims he’s a woman. USA Fencing expelled and disqualified the woman. That’s right–sporting organizations are still pulling this nonsense.

Georgia Dems Walk Out of Chamber in Support of Sex-Changes for Criminals

Democrats across the country are playing Backwards Morality Day every day now. Here’s how you can play along with them:

  1. Find the most unsympathetic cause.
  2. Find equally unsympathetic, even monstrous people associated with the cause. 
  3. Call the monstrous cause and the unsavory people “marginalized” and “victims.”
  4. Dems will go all in on the monster cause and work to make new monsters. 
  5. Profit!

It sounds absurd because it is, and it is also true. Remember Trump’s speech to Congress, and how the Dems refused to clap for a 13-year-old boy with terminal brain cancer? Remember how every single one of them, including the Democratic women, refused to vote for a bill that would protect girls from having to play against boys (“trans girls”) in sports or share their locker rooms with them? 

The rules are simple. If you’re a bad person, the Dems love you. If you’re a criminal, the Dems love you. If you’re an illegal alien, the Dems love you. If you’re a normal American citizen, they absolutely hate you and want to do everything they can to drain more of your tax dollars to give away to dangerous, violent, or perverted scum. More below.

It’s not just in Washington, either. The Democrat politicians at the state level haven’t even begun to recover their sanity; they’re still living in woke world. Maybe they think if they keep pretending they’ll wake up one day and find that Donald Trump’s election was just a bad dream. Colorado leftists have introduced a bill that would deprive parents of custody in divorce cases if the parent won’t address their “trans” child (no such thing) by their made-up fake name. California’s legislature just nixed a bill that would have barred boys from girls’ sports teams. 

Now in Georgia, Democrat lawmakers threw fits and walked out of the chamber to protest a Republican-backed bill. What was it? A bill to stop the taxpayer funding of sex-change surgeries for prison inmates. Yes, really. 

Their fellow leftists applauded their colleagues as they left chamber as if they’d all just marched across the Edmund Pettis bridge or re-liberated the slaves. 

Let’s see what the public thinks. 

Hmm. Seems like the Democrats are out of step with sane Americans. Let’s see if we can find some support for the liberal champs.

Most people consider the early 90s MTV show “The Real World” (it launched in 1992) to have launched the reality television era. The show followed young adults as they left home and faced political, economic, and romantic realities on their own for the first time. As we all know, television gushed forth a glut of “reality” shows ever since, with most offerings upping the ante with rude, selfish, and abusive behavior among the cast members taking entertainment center stage. 

Entire generations of American kids grew up in the world of “reality TV.” To them, it’s always been normal to have a camera following ordinary people around indoors and out. Melodramatic and conniving behavior to friends and colleagues became an expected part of the plot; indeed, narcissism is the “drama” that viewers tune in for. It’s a chicken-egg question. Did the selfish diva behavior create reality TV, or did the TV create the behavior? 

It’s probably both. But whatever the answer, we’re living in a very strange world in 2025 where just about any bad behavior is seen as “camera ready.” Time was that stealing a video tape of a rocker and a hot actress having sex was seen as a scandal—Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee were angry and embarrassed when someone leaked their home video. That didn’t last long. Just over a decade later, a sex tape featuring then unknown Kim Kardashian and actor Ray J having sex was released by an adult video company. No one knows for sure, but there are allegations that Kardashian’s own mother leaked the tape to propel her daughter into super stardom. 

This cultural “evolution” may explain why so many criminals seem perfectly content not only to be caught on camera, but to film their own illegal activity for public applause. How else do we explain the brazen destruction of Tesla Motors dealerships by candy-poison-haired leftist activists? If you weren’t aware, the hard left has developed Elon Derangement Syndrome (Elon Musk, owner of Tesla) to complement their unbalanced obsession with Donald Trump. Angry, for some reason, at Musk’s attempts to cut federal government waste through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), these people are spray painting and setting Tesla facilities on fire in broad daylight, seemingly without a care in the world.

Democrats Do a Lucy-and-Ethel At the Candy Factory

In one of the most famous episodes of the classic TV series I Love Lucy, Lucy and Ethel get jobs in a chocolate factory. You know the drill. They’re manning the conveyor belt carrying finished chocolates as they come out of the machine needing to be wrapped and packaged. Slowly but surely, the conveyor belt speeds up and the ladies are having trouble keeping up. 

When the speed gets more than they can handle, Lucy and Ethel try to manage the runaway candy belt by stuffing chocolates in their mouths and shirts. It never occurs to them to just stop, reassess the situation, and take a different approach. They either can’t think differently, or they have no way to convince the operator to slow the whole thing down, so they try to keep it all together in a way that ends up ruining the candy and costing them their jobs. 

That’s how the Democrat party is “handling” the country’s swing to a conservative mood after the election of Donald Trump to the presidency. The usual hysterics on major media just keep doing more hysteria faster—witness CBS’ Margaret Brennan laughably blaming the Holocaust on free speech in Germany.

Or take failed Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz (Governor of Minnesota), whose advice to a recent crowd of party faithful was to double down on the lunacy. Referring to the racist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies that America has soundly rejected, Walz says the Democrats can win if they just push more of those, and harder. 

“We got ourselves in this mess because we weren’t bold enough to stand up and say ‘you damn right we’re proud of these policies. We’re going to put them in, and we’re going to execute them’,” said Walz.

Oh, dear. 

Speaking at a rally put on by the Christopher Street Project, a PAC that aims to elect so-called “transgender” people to political office, the best the Dems can do is to pull a Lucy-n-Ethel. Take this woman, who tells the crowd that “her” “pronouns” are: he, she, they, and them. She works for Planned Parenthood as a nurse, she tells us from behind her Covid mask, and she’s very worried about lots of things.

Next up at the same event, we have Democrat Rep. Judy Chu of California delivering her message “loud and clear” in a strangely strangled, screeching voice: “Trans rights are human rights and human rights are trans rights!” At least she achieved symmetry.

Congress Grills NPR CEO Maher: Will This Be the End of Taxpayer Funding?

Conservatives have called for the de-funding of National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) for years. Now, with CEO Katherine Maher on the hot seat in front of Congress, that may become a reality. 

Most Americans have enjoyed some of public broadcasting’s offerings, like Sesame Street and nature documentaries. With NPR, the long-running Prairie Home Companion variety show was also a hit, at least until the #MeToo movement’s broad claims of sexual harassment took him down just as he was retiring. 

But both PBS and NPR have gone hard, hard left in the past decade, NPR most obviously. Even longtime liberal listeners found themselves turning the radio dial when every single story was used to pitch fringe-left ideas about how systemically racist, misogynist, and anti-environmental America allegedly was. 

Despite the denials of partisanship, NPR’s own Uri Berliner blew the lid off the lies in late 2024 with an exposé of just how biased the network really was. Berliner was with the network for 25 years, and had his own progressive credentials as a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and being raised by, in his words, “a lesbian peace-activist mother.” Writing for The Free Press, Berliner tried to sound the alarm for his colleagues with a warning that their blindness to the radio network’s hyper-partisanship jeopardized not only their subscribing listeners but the support of the American public. 

The most shocking part of Berliner’s essay were the cold hard facts. He discovered that of the 87 members of the broadcaster’s core editorial staff, not a single one of them was conservative. Each of the 87 was a registered Democrat. 

While being grilled by Congress this week, Maher used her patented Mommy-Tone speaking voice so beloved by the Ted Talk set. Watch South Carolina Republican Rep. William Timmons question Maher about the hard-left position she and her staff take. He ends with an implied warning that NPR’s budget might have to be re-jiggered because the network is not “worth saving.”

Throughout the hearing, Maher gave implausible answers on many topics, suggesting she may not have been entirely honest. She claimed not to have any idea about the 100-percent registered-Democrat status of her headquarters staff. She also claimed to have no memory of several of her own posts on Twitter (now X) calling for reparations money for black Americans, and accusations that the country was inherently racist and woman-hating. 

Here’s freshman Republican Brandon Gill from Texas nailing her on her social media claim that Americans were “addicted to white supremacy.”

She’s not getting high marks for her performance as the head of Wikipedia either.

Husband/Body Guard of Former ‘Squad’ Member Cori Bush Indicted for Covid Fraud

The room is getting a little warmer for former House Rep. from Missouri, Democrat Cori Bush, as her husband just got slapped with fraud charges. The Dept. of Justice indicted Cortney Merritts for allegedly lying on applications for Covid relief money. The feds claim that Merritts gave false information in order to get his hands on $21,000 from various programs meant to help businesses stay afloat during the shutdowns, as well money to compensate him for alleged economic injury. 

The money Merritts received came from the Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program. The PPP was set up to give businesses what it called “forgivable” loans to keep meeting payroll during a time when (illegal) state and federal shut-down orders put businesses small and large out of commission during the pandemic. In reality, these weren’t loans, but direct grants that did not have to be repaid. Of the $793 billion given out, $760 billion was forgiven. 

Whenever there’s money to be had from the government, there are going to be scams. The inspector general for the Small Business Administration, which disbursed the money, claimed in a 2022 report that up to 70,000 “loans” were probably fraudulent.

The indictment of Bush’s husband Cortney Merritts is new, and not many details are available yet. And while it does not appear that the indictment of Merritts is connected to an ongoing investigation into whether Bush improperly spent campaign funds on personal security, it’s worth noting that her husband, Merritts, was in charge of her security operation. It seems likely that Bush herself may be headed for trouble, though there has not been any recent updates on the campaign finance investigation. 

Cori Bush made a name for herself as a congresswoman whose modus operandi could be summed up as “give me and other black people taxpayer money.” In 2023 she introduced a bill to give black Americans a ridiculous $14 trillion (yes, trillion with a ‘t’) in “reparations” for slavery. She was a member of the colloquially named “Squad,” a group of histrionic Democrat and progressive black and “woman of color” legislators who claim racism, misogyny, and colonialism are oppressing them all day every day. 

Bush lost the primary for her seat in 2024. Badly.

Bush’s most memorable moment was when she camped out on the steps of the Capitol in 2021 surrounded by family-sized boxes of potato chips and cookies. She was sleeping rough to protest the end of the (ruled unconstitutional) eviction freeze illegally foisted on American landlords by the Centers for Disease Control under President Joe Biden.

Are Daily Arson Attacks on Tesla Just More “New Normal”?

During the alleged pandemic, people began using the term “new normal” as if that phrase was itself normal and unremarkable.

Millions of us watched as the people we thought we knew—our spouses, parents, children—immediately buckled under to a world none of us signed up for. Governor issues an illegal order telling state residents they can’t walk outside on the street with someone who doesn’t live with them? No protest, just a shrug and “new normal.”

The president gets on television and vocally yells at people who refuse experimental vaccines, saying his patience is wearing out with Americans? Shrug and “new normal.”

The phrase “new normal” struck fear in those of us who were paying attention to what was going on. We knew that this signaled docility and compliance among our countrymen. We correctly predicted that the majority of Americans would forgo their constitutional rights, and they’d tattle on their own family members who broke any “new normal” decree. 

We’re still living in new normal, and the definition is expanding. New normal now includes leftist violence and property destruction any time the hard left doesn’t like a person or policy. Violent “activists” learned during the BLM riots of 2020 that they could, in fact, get away with burning buildings, assaulting police, and taking over entire sections of a city. No one was going to do a damned thing.

It’s no surprise, then, that deranged leftists have been targeting Tesla car dealerships around the country for vandalism and arson. Our soft-on-crime-when-it’s-lefties policies under Joe Biden have emboldened radicals. On March 18 as-yet-unapprehended vandals set fire to multiple models at a Tesla dealership in Las Vegas. Police say they threw molotov cocktails in what law enforcement described as a “targeted attack.” This is just the latest in a series of arson and vandalism attacks at Tesla dealerships. Why? Because leftist radicals hate the owner of Tesla, Elon Musk. 

And in new normal times, if you hate someone enough, you’re allowed to hurt them or destroy their property. Seriously, readers: It’s not normal to see “another attack on a car dealership” in the news every single day.
