Media Baffled By Motorists Who Refuse to Be Dragged Out and Mauled
You’d suspect that left-wing rioters (no, they’re not “protestors”) are playing a dangerous game with their own lives from watching all the videos of lefties throwing themselves in front of moving cars lately. And it’s reasonable to suspect they are playing a game, they are risking their lives, and they do want to get hit.
Why would they want to get hit? Because “protestors” live to get paid not in money, but in attention. Specifically, they want to be perceived as victims. You see it in the mentally deranged young girls with purple hair and face metal who throw soup on old masters paintings in museums. You see it in the tweaked out men who glue their hands to roadways to “protest oil,” then sit there in the cat bird seat as cops and rescue workers “have to” rescue them from what they did to themselves.
The latest trend among left-wing rioters is cropping up a lot in the disorder and violence happening in Los Angeles. The rioters, many of whom are illegal aliens, say they’re “protesting” immigration authorities who are picking up illegal aliens and throwing them out. The law is optional if you’re brown, “oppressed,” or leftist, you see. Most people have seen this video of a man running backward in front of a cop car and refusing to get out of the way until the car hit him, then made a getaway.
There was another incident on June 15 in Los Angeles, this time with a shrieking young woman in typical leftist poison colors who learned what happens when you join a crowd of people beating on a car. Any sane motorist is not going to sit there and allow a mob to assault them or drag them out of a car, but watch the “activists” scream in horror when the driver won’t just sit still and let them have their way. He ran over the girl’s legs to get away.
The mainstream media, naturally, is framing these incidents in reverse. They’re treating the actual victim of menacing, the car driver, as the criminal who assaulted an innocent person:
We can probably expect the police and district attorney to ruin the driver’s life and charge him or her with murder because he wouldn’t just take it as the mob beat on his car. Truck driver Reginald Denny made the mistake of not plowing through the crowd during the Rodney King riots of 1992, and the crowd dragged him out of his truck and nearly beat him to death.
Let’s see what the tweeting public has to say about the latest “hit and run”:
There are always some who blame the person who refuses to become a victim:
