DEI Pushback

Walmart Becomes Latest Major Corporation To Axe DEI Policies

Wokeness continues to die in corporate America Walmart has announced it’ll be the latest to ditch their DEI policies in response to a conservative campaign on social media by Robby Starbuck.

Anti-woke campaigner Robby Starbuck shared the news on his X account, listing a range of woke initiatives set to be ended by Walmart.

The Human Rights Campaign’s woke Corporate Equality Index has been scrapped from Walmart’s to-do list, while the corporation has also pledged to monitor marketplace sales to ensure inappropriate material is not targeting kids. Furthermore, it will get rid of its Racial Equity Center, which was established as a five-year project in 2020.

Supplier diversity programs will be evaluated to ensure “they do not provide preferential treatment and benefits to suppliers based on diversity”, while the controversial term Latinx will not be used in official communications going forward. Racial equity training through the Racial Equity Institute is out of the window, as is the term “DEI” itself.

“Remember, Walmart is the #1 employer in America with over 1.6 Million Employees and they have a market capitalization of nearly $800 billion,” Starbuck wrote on social media. “This won’t just have a massive effect for their employees who will have a neutral workplace without feeling that divisive issues are being injected but it will also extend to their many suppliers.”

Campaigns by Starbuck have also gotten Brands including Ford, Caterpillar, Toyota, and Harley-Davidson, among others, to reverse DEI policies.

Elon Musk was among those who congratulated Starbuck on social media.

He also received praise from subscribers on X.

Demographic Breakdown Of Trump’s Gain Shows Scale Of Shift Away From The Democrats

A breakdown of the different demographics which shifted towards reveals the sheer scale of discontent towards the Democratic Party.

Not only was the election a blowout – it was a blowout in every demographic relative to 2020.

Traditionally Democrat voters and independent switched towards the GOP, often in 20+ point shifts in some cases when compared with 2012, when the neocon wing of the Republican Party was running the show.

Beginning with race, Black voters were still largely in favor of Kamala Harris with the Democrat enjoying a 72-point advantage over her Republican rival. However, that marked a historic 19-point drop in support compared to 2012. Donald Trump’s largest gain came among Hispanic voters with a 29-point increase, while he gained 17 points among Asian voters and those whose race was not categorized.

Trump increased the GOP’s standing with White voters without a degree by 13 points. Nevertheless, his gains among ethnic minorities was replicated when nonwhite college-educated voters were factored in, with a gain of 21 points. The biggest net shift in his favor came among nonwhite voters without a degree, 35% of whom voted Republican in 2024 compared to just 17% 12 years prior.

While Trump didn’t win over younger votes, he did make gains of 14 points in the 18-29 year-old demographic, and 8 points in the 30-44 demographic. He also gained 8 points in the 45-64 demographics, which he won in 2012.

Trump also gained net votes in every one of the 50 states – and the District of Columbia. In California the gain could top two million when all the votes are counted (and yes, they’re really still counting votes there).

Some on social media questioned whether the shift in support was as a result of discontent with Joe Biden’s administration.

Others called for further insight into the data.

The View Has Started In-Fighting Over “Credibility”

Prior to the presidential election, “The View” was daytime talk show tasked with promoting Vice President Kamala Harris – though they would’ve also promoted literally any Democrat that became the president nominee following the coup on Joe Biden.

The insufferable panelists on the show would regularly follow the Democrat Party line and berate Donald Trump while inviting friendly allies on to discuss the so-called benefits of another Harris term. Unfortunately for The View, Harris lost.

Much like the Democrats themselves, The View has been in turmoil since the election. Whoopi Goldberg’s false accusations against a New York bakery discriminating against her over politics were a sign of things to come, with in-fighting interrupted by the occasional on-air clarification for legal reasons.

As ratings continue to plummet, the co-hosts have ramped up the squabbling, with Goldberg all of a sudden taking issue with Ana Navarro’s fearmongering over the upcoming Donald Trump presidency. This had never been an issue for her before, leading me to believe it’s only because she now realizing how damaging her hysteria has been for the show’s already non-existent reputation.

“I’m not going to wait and see. I mean, this guy has told us he’s a retribution. He’s going to be a dictator,” Navarro said.

“There’s nothing to be done until you know what you’re fighting,” Goldberg responded. “Pissing in the wind doesn’t help – you just get a wet face.”

“What I’m saying is I have no false expectations that at 78, he’s going to, all of a sudden, turn into another human being,” replied Navarro. “I spent weeks telling people that he was apocalyptic. I’m not going to change.”

“You lose credibility in many different ways,” responded Goldberg. “If you don’t know what you’re talking about and you accuse him of something, then they’re going to blow it back. That’s why I say we need to wait and see.”

Watch the whole catfight below:

Many on social media were stunned by Goldberg’s sudden U-turn, with some believing it was a deliberate attempt to improving the dismal ratings.

Others believed the writing was on the wall for The View.

Woke Education

Georgia Universities To End DEI Practices In Wake Of Trump’s Victory

DEI initiatives, institutional neutrality and a compulsory education in the United States’ founding documents are among a number of sweeping new changes instigated by the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents.

26 colleges and universities across the state will be impacted by the changes, as well as the Georgia Archives and the Georgia Public Library Service.

“USG institutions shall remain neutral on social and political issues unless such an issue is directly related to the institution’s core mission,” according to the proposed revisions.

Ideological tests, affirmations, and diversity statements are set to be banned from admissions processes, while applicants will no longer be asked questions about their political beliefs. Meanwhile, recruitment will focus on potential employees possessing “the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with the role, and is believed to have the ability to successfully perform the essential functions, responsibilities, and duties associated with the position for which the individual is being considered.”

Beginning next year, students will study historic documents such as the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, the Articles of Confederation, the Federalist Papers, the Gettysburg Address, the Emancipation Proclamation, and Martin Luther King Jr.’s Letter from Birmingham Jail, as well as the Georgia Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The move follows a recent shift away from DEI initiatives by universities following Republican efforts to eradicate wokeism. Earlier this year, the University of North Carolina axed its DEI programs in changes which were expected to save around $17 million.

Some commenters on social media noted how the changes came into effect shortly after Trump’s victory in the presidential election.

Others called for similar reforms across the rest of the nation.

“The Funniest Idea Ever!” – Could Elon Musk Purchase MSNBC?

Comcast has announced it intends to realign its corporate oversight of NBCUniversal, creating major implications for networks such as MSNBC and CNBC.

The former has been under particularly scrutiny over the past year; a major shift to the left, openly admitted by a producer at the news network, has seen interest in left-wing media coverage plummet in the wake of the presidential election.

Under the new corporate structure, MSNBC and CNBC will technically be owned by different companies within the Comcast umbrella. In short, it’s selling the networks to a new company it has created, effectively differentiating the two from the remainder of Comcast’s content.

The development has led to jovial speculation regarding a potential sale of MSNBC. Speculation over the future of a network which employs the likes of Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow has grown jovially on social media, with some – including Donald Trump Jr. – suggesting Elon Musk purchase the network.

Maddow has already had to take a $5 million pay cut amid the network’s struggles.

Musk inquired how much the network would cost in response to the President-elect’s son on X, who claimed a takeover would be the “funniest idea ever”. Musk later added, “The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely,” with a laughing emoji as if to suggest interest in a potential purchase.

Many remembered the business magnate’s initial interest in Twitter.

Others expected a personnel change on MSNBC should Musk purchase the network.

Ellen DeGeneres Leaves The U.S. Because Of The Election

Ellen DeGeneres decided enough is enough and moved to England in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 Presidential Election.

In a world of celebrities threatening to leave the country in the event of a Donald Trump victory, DeGeneres at least deserves credit for actually going through with it. As was the case for most celebs, DeGeneres had backed Kamala Harris over Trump.

The former television personality, who quit showbusiness after claims of a toxic work environment on the set of her self-titled show in 2022, has since reportedly left the United States for the Cotswolds – a rural area in the south of England. DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi are thought to have left their California home in a decision motivated by Trump’s election earlier this month.

Hopefully she’s a fan of European tax rates.

Their property in Montecito will be sold, according to a report by The Wrap.

DeGeneres reportedly bought the sprawling Montecito property in 2019, and she and de Rossi have made it their primary residence; it wasn’t clear what would become of her other Southern California properties. A former spokeswoman for DeGeneres said she is no longer representing the comedian since her comedy special and tour are concluded.

Let’s be honest, would a single person have even noticed she left if it wasn’t being reported?

Many on social media were far from heartbroken by the news.

Others questioned whether the move was a good decision since the Labour Party took power in July 2024.

Race-baiting Democrat Delivers Insane Anti-White Rant In Congress Over “Dismantle DEI Act”

Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett went on an insane rant on Wednesday, Nov. 20, claiming that white people should not be allowed to use the word “oppression.”

Rep. Crockett said that Black people “didn’t ask to be here” in a reference to slavery – while neglecting the fact that not a single person living in the U.S. right now was forcefully brought here – unless you exclude the migrants smuggled into this country by sex traffickers. Naturally, Crockett is against the sort of hardline immigration policies (which she also thinks are racist) that would prevent that.

“There has been no oppression for the white man in this country!” she exclaimed in a heated exchange about DEI policy in the United States. “You tell me which white men were dragged out of their homes, you tell me which one of them got dragged all the way across an ocean and told that you were gonna go and work.”

The debate was around fellow Texas Rep. Michael Cloud’s “Dismantle DEI Act,” which would close all federal DEI offices and programs.

“It is white men on this side of the aisle telling us, people of color on this side of the aisle, that y’all are the ones being oppressed, that y’all are the ones being harmed,” Crockett continued, visibly animated. “That is not the definition of oppression.”

To find examples of white people being oppressed isn’t that difficult; Just under 400,000 slaves were brought to the U.S. from Africa, while over 1 million white Europeans were enslaved by the Barbary pirates over the same time period. And to make a more obvious point, DEI policies that make it harder for white people to attain employment should count as “oppression.” Crockett would certainly consider affirmative action or DEI oppression it was at the expense of black people.

During another negative-IQ part of the hearing, Rep. Summer Lee attempted to attack Pete Hegseth as unqualified, and tie this to conservatives calling Ketanji Brown-Jackson was qualified. Biden literally said his criteria for a SCOTUS justice was “black” and “female,” so if anyone deserves blame for the characterization of Brown-Jackson as a “DEI hire,” it’s Biden.

“When Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was up for confirmation or when VP Harris was added to the ticket, they called them DEI hires. They want you to believe that Harvard graduate with over 20 years of experience is not qualified but Fox personality is qualified to run the DOD,” she said – apparently unaware that Hegseth also went to Harvard, and has decades of experience.

Many were unimpressed by Crockett’s comments.

Others believed her comments were racist and divisive.

Democrat New Jersey Rep. Says Grandfather Flew Boeing B-52s In The Second World War… Nearly A Decade Before They Were Introduced

Although election season may be over, preparations are already underway for 2025’s Gubernatorial race in New Jersey.

With both the GOP and the Democrats fancying their chances – the former perhaps more so given the major shift towards the Republicans earlier this month – prospective candidates are already launching their campaigns.

One Democrat who’s thrown their hat into the ring is Mikie Sherrill, the House Rep. for New Jersey’s 11th District. Having just defeated Republican Joseph Belnome by nearly 15 points, Sherrill clearly has a fondness for campaigning and, on Monday, Nov. 18, announced her candidacy for next year’s Gubernatorial election.

In the 2021 New Jersey gubernatorial election, Democrat Phil Murphy won with 51.22% of the vote to Jack Ciattarelli’s 48%.

Sherrill’s military experience is a key part of her campaign, which also features a blue and yellow logo akin to the Ukrainian flag. One day after announcing her candidacy, Sherrill explained her military background, claiming that her grandfather flew Boeing B-52 bombers in the Second World War.

However, there’s an obvious problem.

The B-52 was never used in WW2; in fact, it didn’t even exist.

As the name suggests, the B-52 took its maiden flight in 1952 – some seven years after the conclusion of the Second World War – and was used by the United States Air Force from 1955.

Social media users were keen to point out this false claim.

Sherrill later corrected this claim, arguing that she meant the B-24. Many were still unconvinced…

Cenk Uygur Wants To Be Put In Charge Of The Pentagon

Liberal media personality Cenk Uygur apparently wants a role in the Trump administration.

The Young Turks host is renowned for his left-wing views, and his disdain for Donald Trump has been well-documented over the past few years. Yet, with the woke left all-but defeated in the wake of the presidential election, Uygur has been critical of the left (while remaining a leftist).

Asking Elon Musk to put him “in charge of the Pentagon”, Uygur said, “I’ll slash $400 billion easy. That’ll get you 20% to your goal of $2 trillion, right out of the gate. I went to Wharton three years before you. I own a media company, so I know how to run a business. If you really want to cut, put me in, coach.”

Musk responded that “specific suggestions” would be welcomed within his new Department of Government Efficiency.

“As you know, you’d need to see the line items in the budget, but I have one suggestion already,” Uygur replied. “The generals are not allowed to get a job with defense contractors for ten years. They authorize so much wasteful spending because they’re going to get hired by those same companies.”

Although Uygur obviously did not get his wish to be “put in charge of the Pentagon,” and never will, he did say he the right seemed “more open and inclusive” than his liberal colleagues. He also argued that the Democrats “hate their base” and were the “less tolerant party.”

Many were bemused by the idea of Uygur joining the right.

Others weren’t buying Uyger’s newfound ideology.

Donald Trump Won A Jail Precinct Despite Losing by 94 Points in 2020

Donald Trump was wildly popular among police officers in Chicago – and surprisingly, he also won the prisoner vote in at least one jail.

Trump won the Chicago Cook County Jail Precinct despite having lost it by a whopping 94 percentage points in 2020.

The jail is one of the few in the country to offer in-person voting, and often surpasses Chicago’s general turnout. Inmates are entitled to vote, having been able to do so since the turn of the decade.

Four years ago, the precinct voted overwhelmingly for Joe Biden, with the Democrat securing 96% of the vote compared to 2% for Trump. In 2024, however, Trump beat rival Kamala Harris, amassing 49% to the Vice President’s 47%.

Trump made a major part of his early campaign highlighting what he and supporters deemed to be political persecution. He was indicted four times in 2023, at federal, state and county level. Social media commentors speculated that this may have boosted his popularity among convicted felons who also believe to be a victim of an unjust justice system, showcased best by the infamous mugshot.

Others were not surprised that a former prosecutor performed so poorly among inmates.
