Democrats Defend Drag Queen Appointment In Pennsylvania

Joe Biden’s decision not to stand for re-election is unlikely to cause major political turmoil within the Democratic Party.

While arguably abandoning the principle within the name of the party, the DNC is likely to name Vice President Kamala Harris as the challenger to Republican nominee Donald Trump.

From a position of political strategy, Harris’ appointment makes the most sense. She is, after all, the next in line should Biden be unable to fulfil his presidential duties until January 20, 2025. Biden-Harris, as the campaign ticket suggested, is also a close-knit operation. As a result, staffers for Biden-Harris are likely to remain in post for Harris-Whomever, particularly those with experience in the swing states.

Such officials include Eric Lipka, who has been unmasked as “Erotica the Drag Queen” – who was appointed deputy press secretary for Biden-Harris in Pennsylvania.

Lipka’s accounts were quickly locked down when conservative media approached him for comment. Nevertheless, a snippet of Lipka/Erotica’s posts were revealed on the popular @LibsOfTikTok account on X.

In one Facebook post from January 2023, Lipka encouraged Facebook followers to “come get drunk and watch me slam my vagina into the floor”, while also describing a “pussy-power fantasy” in another.

The Democrats have defended Lipka’s appointment with Pennsylvania communications director Jack Doyle telling Fox News that they were “proud” to have the drag queen onboard. “We’re proud to have a team of 200 talented Pennsylvania staffers, including Eric, highlighting Trump’s record killing 275,000 jobs across the commonwealth and his discriminatory and extreme Project 2025 agenda to make life worse for our families,” Doyle said.

Surprise was hardly rife on social media.

Others questioned the decision making within a Democratic Party which is no stranger to being forced to defend the controversial appointment of a communications staffer.

“Clip That Ended Kamala Harris’ First Presidential Campaign” Goes Viral As Joe Biden Steps Aside

Joe Biden’s landmark decision to step down on Sunday, July 21, was expected.

Realistically, the President’s chances of beating Republican candidate Donald Trump were slim to none. Failing to clear an already low bar in the CNN presidential debate in June marked the beginning of the end for Biden 2024, while confusing the names of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin – both of whom are at war with each other – was an international embarrassment.

The Democrats knew their fate with Biden was an inevitable defeat; with Vice President Kamala Harris, there’s an (arguably overly) optimistic hope of securing the White House for another four years.

As she is thrust into the presidential spotlight, it’s worth remembering that Harris has ran for the highest office in the land before. In 2019, Harris ran for the Democratic Party presidential nomination in a year-long campaign. Despite a promising start, Harris’ polling numbers stagnated around 10% before she eventually dropped out in December of that year.

In the wake of Biden’s announcement, social media users shared a clip “that ended Kamala’s first presidential campaign” where Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard criticized her actions as Attorney General of California.

Some on social media took the opportunity to reminisce about Harris’ previous presidential campaign.

Others criticized Harris for her “two-faced” political stance amid fears she may try to “guilt trip” minority voters towards her campaign.

Highlights from her tenure as Vice President were also posted, including her detailed breakdown of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

MLB Players Honor Donald Trump With “Fight!” Celebration

MLB players have been lauded for their pro-Donald Trump celebrations in the wake of the assassination attempt on his life.

Moments after a Secret Service counter sniper eliminated shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, Trump rose to his feet – bloodied – and pumped his first, shouting “Fight! Fight! Fight!” to shell shocked supporters.

This heat-of-the-moment, adrenaline-fueled response was captured in an instantly iconic photograph and has become somewhat of a metaphor for Trump’s campaign.

As well as being a prominent feature of last week’s Republican National Convention, the Trump-style salute has been replicated at other events including the MLB.

During a game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday, July 21, players and management from both franchises expressed support for the former president. Rays batter Taylor Walls raised his fist and shouted “Fight! Fight!” upon reaching second base, while the Cardinals’ bench held their ears with fists in the air as Alec Burleson completed a home run.

The salutes resonated with many supporters of the Republican presidential nominee, including one person who was in attendance at the infamous rally in Butler, PA.

Another user noted that the recent acts of defiance mark a shift from conservatives refraining from political gestures in order to appease the left.

Meanwhile, others indicated that the assassination attempt on Trump, followed by his remarkable response, had produced a more united front among Republicans and conservatives against the extremist elements of the Democrats.

A resurgent Trump will almost certainly face Vice President Kamala Harris at November’s election.

Elon Musk Adds Iconic Donald Trump Photo To #MAGA Hashtag On X

Social media platform X has a new “hashmoji” for supporters of Donald Trump.

A hashmoji is a hashtag on X which features an accompanying image. It is typically used for major ongoing events such as elections, television series or sporting events like the Olympic Games.

When users post #MAGA (Make America Great Again), their post will feature a small version of the iconic image of Trump just moments after he was shot at a rally in Butler, PA, on Saturday, July 13.

In addition to #MAGA, users who search #Trump2024 will see a flurry of American flags rain down on their desktop screen.

Many users were delighted to by the addition when it was announced on the social media platform.

Others suggested alternative options for supporters of Joe Biden’s campaign.

Of course, not everyone was best pleased with the new addition, with one leftist directing their anger towards owner of X Elon Musk, accusing him of “trying to rig” the election.

Following the attempt on the former president’s life, Musk endorsed the Republican immediately afterwards. Since then, the world’s richest man has defended his position, and said Trump is “obviously better” than the incumbent President.

Musk’s support for Biden’s challenger has frustrated the Democrat. On Thursday, July 18, Biden said he was “sick of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election”. While a somewhat clever post given his recent COVID-19 diagnosis, Biden’s anti-Musk resentment comes due to the billionaire’s influence and power as the owner of X.

“You’re the Cause of Our Country Being Divided” – Marjorie Taylor-Greene Slams Reporter At Republican National Convention

House Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene has been lauded after slammed a reporter’s “ridiculous” questions at the Republican National Convention.

The Republican and staunch supporter of Donald Trump was speaking to Times Radio reporter Jo Crawford about the nomination of J.D. Vance as the Republican presidential nominee’s running mate.

Crawford asked a number of questions on Vance’s previous comments, including about his past criticisms of Trump, as well as more recent remarks over the election of the Labour Party government in the United Kingdom.

On the latter, Rep. Taylor-Greene pointed out that President Joe Biden had compared MAGA Republicans to fascists and Hitler.

“[Biden] completely lied, demonizing him, so much so that a young man – a 20-year-old, which is hard to imagine – actually climbed on to a roof and tried to murder President Trump,” said the Georgia Representative.

Taylor-Greene then took aim at the reporter and other members of the mainstream media, accusing them of facilitating claims and misquoting politicians.

“You’re ridiculous, and you’re the problem in our country,” she added, before accusing Crawford of political activism. “You’re the cause of our country being divided. You’re the cause of President Trump of almost being assassinated,” she continued before terminating the interview.

Give the full exchange a watch below:

Some on social media agreed wholeheartedly with MTG’s comments.

Others pondered whether the exchange raised questions about the mainstream media in general.

Likewise, a well-received comment suggested that it was not the media as a whole which was at fault, but certain reporters or publications which strive to create division.

One-Third Of Democrats Believe Donald Trump Staged Assassination Attempt

One-third of Democrats believe it is “credible” that former president Donald Trump staged the assassination attempt on his life on Saturday, July 13.

As with every major event in recorded history, conspiracy theorists cooked up some ideas of their own over the shooting in Butler, PA. While the motive of 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks remains “relatively unknown,” it is clear that he attempted to end Trump’s life as he addressed voters at the rally.

The events of that day are well publicized. A last-minute head tilt by Trump saw the bullet pierce his right ear, and Trump was protected by Secret Service agents while a counter sniper took out Crooks. Although wounded, the Republican raised a fist (resulting in the now iconic photo) before he was hurried off to a local medical center.

Despite the event’s taking place on live television, and the tragic death of 50-year-old firefighter Corey Comperatore, a staggering 34% of Democrats have fallen for the BlueAnon conspiracy that Trump staged the day’s events according to the Washington Free Beacon

Joe Biden ally Dmitri Mehlhorn has helped spur on the conspiracy, describing it as a “false flag” operation akin to those seen in Vladimir Putin’s Russia. Meanwhile, MSNBC hosts Michael Steele and Joy Reid have even suggested that Trump was not shot in the ear.

Many commenters on social media platform X were stunned by the poll’s findings, with most directing criticism towards the distasteful faction of the Democrats.

Others drew comparisons with similar polls regarding conspiracy theories.

More Young Men Are Leaving The Democrats Than Ever Before

Young men are dramatically fleeing the Democrat Party, according to new data from the Survey Center on American Life.

An infographic with the data was shared on social media by X user @eyelasho. Ranging from 2016 to 2023, the data shows a 12 percentage point drop in the men aged 18 to 29 who identify with or lean towards the Democrats.

In 2016, more than half of young men surveyed said they were Democrats. This figure saw a gradual decline during Donald Trump’s first presidency, rising back up to 47% in the year Joe Biden won the presidential election.

However, under Biden, the number of young, male Democrats has fallen substantially by eight percentage points to 39%. Intriguingly, half of this decline occurred between 2022 and 2023.

The data prompted debate among commenters on social media, with many presenting their own ideas for the flight to the right.

One user suggested the Democrats had “two pillars”, namely identity politics and abortion. He implied that young men would be further incentivized by the Republican Party if it reduced its emphasis on the latter issue.

Identity politics was a recurring theme as to why young men may be put off by the Democrats.

Another user suggested that the actual figure of those leaving the Democrats could possibly be higher.

It’s not just America where young men are becoming more conservative than young women. Similar splits have been seen in the U.K., Germany, and South Korea.

Why do you think young men are becoming more conservative? Let us know in the comments.

Alt-Right Leader Announces Support For Joe Biden Over GOP “Zionism” Criticism

Richard Spencer, once branded by the liberal media as the “leader of the Alt-Right” during the 2016 election election as they tried to link him to Donald Trump in an effort to push their endless “Trump is racist” narrative, is voting for Joe Biden in 2024.

The far-right activist Richard Spencer announced his support for Biden following Trump’s selection of J.D. Vance as his running mate. While it took a bit of goading for him to reveal why, Spencer said on social media that “it is only within the Democratic Party where criticism of Zionism is allowed.”

As is always the way with social media, Spencer’s endorsement of the President was met with ridicule.

Indeed, the alt-right’s shift to the woke left may seem miniscule in the grand scheme of things, but it does give Trump a little boost; the White supremacist, neo-Nazi, antisemitic mob are now on the side of those who chastised him for the best part of a decade.

Joe Biden Says He Will Consider Dropping Out If He Had A Medical Condition Hours Before COVID-19 Diagnosis

Joe Biden’s re-election campaign has been a trainwreck so far – and there’s no signs of things getting any better.

Democrats are deserting a President who many voters see as simply too old and mentally absent to serve a second successive term. His gaffes – becoming evermore public and evermore embarrassing – seem to be an overriding subject in his attempt to retain the White House.

The examples are countless. Footage went viral from Biden’s latest interview with the Black Entertainment Television network, where forgot his own Defense Secretary’s name and referred to him as “the Black man.” Biden also said he would perhaps step aside if he was diagnosed with a medical condition in that same interview.

This came just hours before the interview aired, Biden was “coincidentally” diagnosed with COVID-19.

For some, the subject of Biden’s comments had already happened.

Dropping out of the race this early would also raise questions over whether to finish his first term as President.

Riley Gaines had the best take:

Sometimes, it can be painful to watch Biden onstage as his bumbles and fumbles his way through an incoherent sentence.

Then again, his obsession with political power somewhat suspends sympathy. A politician since 1973, Biden has been a lawmaker for over half a decade, and only secured himself the top job at the age of 77.

Even then, Biden’s 2020 campaign initially poised him as a “transition candidate” with many expecting him to relinquish the reigns to Vice President Kamala Harris. Four years on, and Biden is still in charge – whether that remains the case is a subject of ever-increasing doubt.

Joe Biden Mocks Veteran’s Service Record In Call With House Democrats

The recent assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump marked a temporary distraction from Democrat disgruntlement with President Joe Biden.

Calls for Biden to withdraw from the race to the White House have grown since a disastrous debate on CNN – only silenced as political battlelines were temporarily halted in the aftermath of the shocking events in Butler, PA.

As the political theatre has returned to bitter battle, as have the calls for Biden to step aside.

Prior to the shooting at the Trump rally, Biden held a meeting via Zoom with House Democrats to discuss his political future.

Democrat sources reportedly described the President as “rambling”, with one stating his performance “was even worse than the debate”.

Worse still, Biden allegedly mocked a veteran’s service during the tense call – a true blow given that it was one of the few moments where he arguably won against Trump during the debate.

The incident came when Rep. Jason Crow, who served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and received a Bronze Star, expressed concerns about the President. In response, Biden launched a fiery rant about how he had “put NATO together” before claiming his deceased son Beau Biden – also a Bronze Star recipient – had shown more accomplishment than the Colorado lawmaker.

According to one report: “The Biden campaign did not, however, dispute this next part, about Crow and his Bronze Star. In a video of the Zoom that I was able to view, you can hear Biden chastising Crow, who asked about the importance of national security to voters. “First of all, I think you’re dead wrong on national security,” the president says, the emotion at times garbling his words. ‘You saw what happened recently in terms of the meeting we had with NATO. I put NATO together. Name me a foreign leader who thinks I’m not the most effective leader in the world on foreign policy. Tell me! Tell me who the hell that is! Tell me who put NATO back together! Tell me who enlarged NATO, tell me who did the Pacific basin! Tell me who did something that you’ve never done with your Bronze Star like my son—and I’m proud of your leadership, but guess what, what’s happening, we’ve got Korea and Japan working together, I put Aukus together, anyway! … Things are in chaos, and I’m bringing some order to it. And again, find me a world leader who’s an ally of ours who doesn’t think I’m the most respected person they’ve ever—'”

For some on social media, Biden’s ability to continue has been thrown into major doubt.

Biden’s claims were also subject to ridicule.

Biden’s performance – or lack thereof – has left many Republicans hoping he remains in the race to confirm an inevitable Trump victory.
