Social media was in stitches on Thursday, Oct. 17 after Donald Trump roasted Kamala Harris (and many more) at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York.

The charitable event is a staple of the electoral cycle, usually taking place in the three weeks before the election. It has historically been attended by both Republican and Democrat presidential nominees, although the Vice President declined the invitation, making her the first to do so since Walter Mondale (who then went on to lose 49 states).

Harris’ absence left an open goal for former president Trump, who obliterated the Democratic Party and his presidential rival.

Trump’s top five moments of the night were collated by Collin Rugg on X, opening with a reference to “Tampon” Tim Walz. The Republican joked he “used to think Democrats were crazy” for suggesting men could have periods, until he met the Minnesota Gov.

Arguably, the highlight of the night (included in the video above) was Trump’s joke about the in-attendance Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. “Chuck Schumer is here looking very glum… but look on the bright side, Chuck, considering how woke your party has become, if Kamala loses, you still have a chance to become the first woman president,” Trump said as Schumer shook his head.

Kamala reportedly stopped watching the dinner after Trump made a reference to her husband Doug Emhoff’s historic affair with a nanny. “A major issue in this race is childcare, and Kamala has put forward a concept of a plan… The only piece of advice I would have for her in the event she wins would be not to let husband Doug anywhere near the nannies,” he told the auditorium.

Trump had some other great moments too. It’s expected for the presidential candidates to make jokes about themselves – which Trump made a joke out of in classic Trump fashion.

He also knocked Walz over pretending to be part of historic events.

And there was also a spontaneous roasting of Bill DeBlasio when Trump learned of his presence in the audience – who was immediately blasted as the worst mayor ever.

Some social media users noted other quips by the former president which made them laugh.

Many commentors loved Trump’s digs at the Democrats.

MSNBC responded to the disastrous Kamala Harris Fox News interview in typical fashion – with allegations of racism and sexism.

Bret Baier tore down the Democrat’s campaign in a 28-minute interview that most described as disastrous for the Vice President. Harris repeatedly dodged questions, or used opportunities to present her policies to a new audience to attack Donald Trump.

Of course, the scrutiny was too much to bear for many liberals, including the left-wing MSNBC. On “The Beat with Ari Melber”, The View’s Sunny Hostin expressed her frustration over Harris being spoken to by a journalist the same way they talk to Trump.

“I saw a little bit of the [Fox News] panel after the interview and one woman said that [Harris] came in hot, and also said that she became angrier,” the Hostin explained. “I thought [Baier] came in hot, and what I am very tired of is this trope of the angry, Black woman.”

“She was not angry; she was in command – of the fact, she was passionate. Passion does not equal anger,” she continued, before complaining about Trump’s recent remarks over the “dumb” correspondents on The View.

Social media users noted that using the race card meant Harris had performed terribly during the interview.

Another user noted that Baier is not renowned for his fondness for Trump.

Kamala Harris faced Fox News anchor Bret Baier in a trainwreck interview on Wednesday, October 16.

The Vice President’s appearance on the most conservative mainstream media outlet was unexpected, though many on the right doubted whether Baier would sufficiently scrutinize the Democratic nominee. Needless to say, Baier proved the doubters wrong.

If you didn’t catch the interview, here’s what you missed.

The interview began with a question on illegal immigration. When the 54-year-old asked for a specific number of illegal aliens the Biden-Harris administration had permitted into the U.S, Harris completely dodged the question.

Harris, described by many as the “border czar”, struggled on questions relating to migrant crime.

She then tried to claim there was a “broken immigration system”, despite previously claiming that the border is secure.

Illegal aliens remained a subject on the next segment focusing on taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners. Harris’ response to a Donald Trump campaign ad in which she expressed her position was to complain about the former president’s expenditure.

A majority of voters trust Trump more than Harris when it comes to the economy; her failure to provide details on her plans when pressed by Baier was a good indication as to the reason why.

For much of the campaign, Harris has struggled to differentiate herself from the administration in which she is Vice President. She refused to elaborate what she would do differently from President Joe Biden when pressed by Baier.

This theme continued into the next segment, where a confused Harris prompted Baier to ask, “What are you talking about?”

With the Vice President on the backfoot, Harris became angry when Baier played a clip of Trump denying one of her campaign’s most prominent attacks.

Although her ascension to Democratic nominee came as a result of an internal scheme to remove Biden from the ticket, Harris could only attack Trump when asked about the President’s cognitive state.

Concluding the interview, Baier reminded the Democratic nominee that she had spent virtually no time talking about herself, instead focusing her entire narrative on former president Trump. Baier said “they” – whom many thought referred to Harris’ spin doctors – were giving him a hard time in the background as the interview was brought to a close.

Kamala Harris’ campaign has been forced to make an embarrassing clarification over a policy which conservatives pointed out is racist and unconstitutional.

The Democrats have resorted to desperate measures as polling among Black Americans suggests a notable shift towards Donald Trump. While the Vice President still leads the Republican among this traditionally Democrat-leaning demographic, Trump’s increasing support among Black voters has rang alarm bells for the Harris campaign in a neck-and-neck election.

The situation is so bleak that Barack Obama is offering patronizing lectures towards Black voters, while Harris herself unveiled a policy manifesto targeting African American males. Featuring policies such as $20,000 forgivable loans and the federal legalization of marijuana, critics argued that the policies were racist (the former specifically) and unlikely to be upheld in the Supreme Court.

Rather embarrassingly, Harris’ campaign has now been forced to backtrack on the manifesto, and now claims their racially-specific pandering was actually for everyone, regardless of race!

That’s despite her manifesto being titled “Agenda for Black Men”…. though I guess we do live in a day and age where you can identify as pretty much anything.

Harris and her campaign were quickly ridiculed when the story broke on social media.

Others noted that Harris’ poor performance among Black voters may have been down to the blatant use of ethnicity to win votes.

And at least one reparations advocate wasn’t pleased.

Kamala Harris, Who Convicted Thousands Of Americans For Smoking Weed, Now Wants To Legalize It

Kamala Harris has announced she wants to legalize recreational marijuana across the country in her latest pandering attempt, with mere weeks until election day.

Pot is legal in 24 states for recreational use, while another seven have decriminalized use of the drug in recent years. The national trends suggests federal legalization is a matter of “when” rather than “if” – and Harris wants credit for it.

Harris said she wanted to legalize weed as part of her policy pledges towards Black Americans. However, as with much of her campaign, it contradicts her previous stances on the issue.

Actions speak louder than words, and as San Francisco District Attorney, the former prosecutor oversaw more than 1,900 marijuana convictions within the city alone. She also aggressively prosecuted weed-related crimes during her tenure as Attorney General for California.

But fast forward to October 15, 2024, and Harris is tweeting about how “No one should go to jail for smoking weed” – despite already having had the opportunity to prevent just that.

It must be noted that the oft-cited cases of “people in jail for marijuana” are wildly overestimated and exaggerated (especially by liberals), and most people “in jail for marijuana” are only there because the drug charge was in conjunction with another offense. And yet, despite as rare as it is for people to be jailed over marijuana, Harris made sure it did happen.

It’s safe to say that many responses saw hypocrisy within her latest policy pledge.

There were also concerns that her focus towards Black Americans was somewhat racist.

The chair of a North Carolina Democratic Party board has resigned after he was arrested for stealing pro-Donald Trump yard signs.

Former Moore County Democratic Party Chair Lowell Simon resigned after he was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 10 and charged with two counts of removing political signs. The crime is a misdemeanor under North Carolina state law.

In a Facebook post, Moore County Democratic Party said Simon had apologized for his actions.

“While we appreciate the hard work and dedication he has shown to the Democratic Party and the community, the Moore County Democratic Party cannot and will not condone the tampering of political signs or any other illegal activity,” the party wrote. “We believe in the importance of freedom of expression and speech, and hope that local law enforcement will continue to enforce such laws that protect those freedoms fairly and without bias across party lines.”

Simon expressed regret for his actions when speaking to local media, adding that he was frustrated by alleged removal of signs supporting Democratic candidates.

Conservatives were less than sympathetic when the news broke on social media.

Another user highlighted a different instance of pro-Trump sign theft.

Kamala Harris wants to create an “opportunity agenda” for Black men, which critics argue is racist and unconstitutional.

The Vice President’s poor showing among male voters has prompted a recent push with just three weeks to go until the presidential election. Former president Barack Obama raised eyebrows for his efforts to rally Black male voters behind Harris, while a questionable new campaign ad is also seeking to boost support.

Even though she could ask President Joe Biden to begin the work on her behalf, Harris has promised to implement a number of new policies for Black men if she gets elected. She wants to issue one million “fully forgivable” loans to Black entrepreneurs, while supporting education training to allow Black men to become teachers.

The latter three policies are particularly outstanding; Harris will “protect cryptocurrency investments for Black men so they can “know their money is safe,” will launch a national health initiative to focus specifically on illnesses which may “disproportionately impact” them, and will legalize recreational marijuana and “create opportunities for Black Americans to succeed” in the pot industry.

It’s safe to say that the announcement was far from popular when it was shared on social media, with many calling it racist.

Many also questioned what the reaction would be if Donald Trump sought to implement a similar policy for White men.

Star Wars has released the first image of a new transgender clone trooper which will feature within the franchise.

Named “Sister”, the character has reportedly existed for two years since first debuting in the 2022 novel, “A Queen’s Hope”. However, Sister will officially enter Star Wars lore, leaving many fans furious as they long for a time when the franchise was about awesome battles in space.

Like all other clone troopers, Sister wears a white suit, although her armor is decorated with the blue and pink of the transgender rights flag.

It’s bizarre that Disney believes fans of the series truly care about what a “clone” trooper identifies as. Since it bought the rights nearly a decade ago, many have longed for strong storytelling, captivating creativity and fantastic films, rather than the introduction of virtue signaling and left-wing activists.

For many fans, the transgender character doesn’t even fit in with Star Wars cannon. The Kaminoans, which created the clones, had a long history of eradicating creations which did not meet acceptable parameters. While their views on genetic modification are unclear, it’s unlikely within the Star Wars universe that they would approve of a clone whose priorities focus on personal freedoms rather than serving the Galactic Republic.

Some fans were even confused as to whether the character’s introduction was genuine!

Kamala Harris plagiarized more than a dozen sections of her book, Smart on Crime, including material from Wikipedia, according to an investigation.

The findings by Dr. Stefan Weber, a professional “plagiarism hunter” confirmed multiple instances of unauthorized copying within the Vice President’s 2009 book.

Dr. Weber found Harris had “copied virtually an entire Wikipedia article” into her book without providing attribution. She also fabricated a source reference to a non-existent page number, while correctly cited sections appeared to have been copied and pasted without using quotation marks.

A section on high school graduation rates was copied verbatim from an Associated Press news report, with some statistics merely rounded down to the nearest whole number in order to differentiate her book from the article.

Harris also reproduced a press release from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. State names were written in full rather than abbreviated, while “%” was written as “percent” in an attempt to circumvent plagiarism detectors.

The Democratic presidential nominee may have hoped the changing nature of Wikipedia would prevent detectors from noticing her copy and pasting skills. Unfortunately for Harris, Dr. Weber was able to discover the unattributed article in question through its edit history.

Through references on Wikipedia itself, Harris duplicated material from other sources…

… And she would rarely cite the few she used.

The thread was shared on X by investigative journalist Christopher Rufo, who wrote comprehensively about the findings in his newsletter. When he tried to contact Harris’ publisher, Chronicle Books, he was accidentally sent an internal memo about the ongoing allegations.

Meanwhile in liberal land, the New York Times has framed this in “Republicans pounce!” terms.

Democrats Enter Panic Mode As Trump Tightens Race In Swing States

Democrats are anxious over recent polling data which suggests the race for the White House is tightening in swing states.

Kamala Harris has held a small but noticeable lead over Donald Trump since President Joe Biden announced his intention to stand aside at the upcoming presidential election. A honeymoon period for a fresh face boosted her popularity among would-be voters, but the race has since tightened as the honeymoon came to an end.

This October, Trump closed the gap to what is now a neck-and-neck race between the two, with bookmakers leaning towards the Republican as the next president-elect of the United States.

On Friday CNN shared the latest data on three swing states – Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. The latter with its 19 electoral college votes is deemed crucial for both Trump and Harris, while Michigan and Wisconsin have been the Democrat’s strongest states of the seven up for grabs.

Harris’ 2-3 percentage point lead has shrunk to just over one point in all three, marking bad news for the Vice President’s hopes for re-election. Moreover, her one-point lead is a stark contrast to 2016 and 2020, where Hillary Clinton and Biden led by eight and seven points at this stage respectively. Trump would go on to perform considerably better than polls suggested in both elections.

CNN also found that Democrats were more likely to be upset if Trump wins than vice versa by a ten-point difference, the findings of which soon became clear on social media.

Others believed the writing was on the wall for Harris’ campaign.
