GOP Leads Early Voting In County Which Has Voted Democrat Since 1992

Early voting figures for Miami-Dade County reveal the GOP is leading in the presidential election by almost 12,000 votes.

Donald Trump has just surpassed 36,000 votes in the county, compared to 24,228 for Kamala Harris. Interestingly, third-party candidates have received 15,954 ballots among early voters – more than the difference between the Republican and the Democrat. Overall, the figure marks a 15.2% swing for the GOP.

You may be wondering why this is significant. After all, Miami-Dade is located within Florida, which has become something of a guaranteed state for the Republicans under Trump. It also helps that it’s also Trump’s home state, and is governed by the popular Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

But here’s the thing; Miami-Dade has a predominantly Latino population, and it heavily leans Democratic – In fact, it has voted Democrat in every election since 1992.

The Hispanic vote is crucial for both candidates, but losing it hurts more for Harris given the historic preference for Democrats among the Latino electorate. If similar swings are seen among Latino voters in swing states with large Spanish-speaking populations such as Arizona and Nevada, Harris is almost certain to lose the election.

Republicans, therefore, are getting giddy.

Of course, it’s worth remembering that every vote matters in an extremely tight election.

“The View” and Tim Walz *Really* Don’t Like Elon Musk’s $1 Million Petition Incentive

Elon Musk’s America Super PAC has enraged the left with its latest incentive to garner signatories on a petition.

Musk – who previously offered $47 to anyone who referred a signatory in a swing state – is providing an opportunity for Americans to win $1 million if they sign a petition protecting the constitutional rights to free speech and bear arms.

The incentive has enraged liberals, with unfounded allegations that the incentive is “buying votes” and therefore illegal. Of course, this is false. America’s petition is separate from the presidential election, no matter how closely connected the business magnate is to one of the presidential candidates.

It’s also hilarious, considering that Democrats have been buying votes through big government handouts (and promises of handouts) for at least the past century.

Musk’s Super PAC was the subject of daytime whinefest The View, which saw Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz pop by. Host Whoopi Goldberg was not best pleased with Musk’s incentive, questioning its legality in a hard-hitting question to Walz.

“What’s happening?” she asked the potential vice president.

Walz could not give an answer on the legality, instead going on a tangent about key campaign policy ideas.

Fellow anchor Ana Navarro came up with the idea of signing the petition, but then going to vote for the Democratic ticket – effectively disproving any uncertainty over legality.

“Do that!” exclaimed Walz.

Despite the efforts of the panel to berate Musk, the X owner saw the funny side when the clip made it to social media.

Clearly nervous, the Biden-Harris DOJ is already warning Musk about his giveaway in an attempt to stop him.

Many were in agreement over the ridiculousness of the latest liberal meltdown.

Others remembered Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s multi-million-dollar investment in 2020.

Joe Rogan To Interview Donald Trump This Friday

It’s finally happening: Donald Trump will appear on the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) with an interview to be recorded this Friday.

Supporters of Trump and listeners of the world’s most popular podcast have long clamored for the former president to sit down with Joe Rogan. The UFC commentator’s interview style, willingness to explore all arguments, and fascinating anecdotes has always seemed like the ideal place for Trump to engage with Rogan’s tens of millions of voters.

Crucially for the Trump campaign, JRE’s audience demographic align with the Republican’s prized list of potential voters. A 2023 YouGov survey found that 81% of Rogan’s listeners are men, the majority of whom (56%) are aged 18-34. This demographic often sees the lowest turnout at any election – and is also a heavily Republican-leaning demo. Through his appearance on JRE, Trump has a golden opportunity to mobilize young voters who may not have voted otherwise, thus boosting his chances of electoral success next month.

The two men have met before, largely thanks to their admiration for mixed martial arts (MMA). However, their relationship has not always been jovial. Rogan previously described Trump as “an existential threat to democracy”, while his support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – who at the time was running as an independent – irked Trump into a Truth Social rant. RFK Jr. has since endorsed Trump.

However, aside from their fondness for the UFC, both men share allies such as Elon Musk – a regular guest on JRE and a vocal supporter of Trump. In fact, Musk himself began rumors of a Trump/Rogan interview earlier in October.

Although a release date is yet to be confirmed, the interview will be filmed on Friday, Oct. 25. Typically, JRE interviews air within a few days of being taped.

Trump Posts AI Image of Him as a Professional Football Player – Fact Checkers Actually Feel Need to Clarify It’s AI

Donald Trump’s visit to the Acrisure Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 20 upset the right people, namely the mainstream media.

The former president stopped off at the NFL during his visit to Pennsylvania, which also saw him work his first shift in McDonald’s. He watched on as the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Jets 37-15, much to the delight of the home crowd.

It wasn’t just the scenes on the pitch which got the tens of thousands in attendance roaring on their feet. Trump’s presence, which was only aired once by host broadcaster NBC, prompted loud chants of “U-S-A” during the game.

The Republican candidate clearly enjoyed his visit to Pittsburgh, and even posted an AI-generated image of him donning a Steelers uniform in playing conditions on Truth Social. Remarkably, Newsweek decided this obviously fake image needed clarification, dedicating an entire article to Trump’s post.

Noting that Trump’s torso and arms “have also been altered to appear more muscular than they do in other photos”, Newsweek confirmed their suspicions through two AI-detectors.

The hilarity of the article was picked up by many, including X CEO Linda Yaccarino and owner Elon Musk.

Many were grateful for the clarification.

The Bookies Say There’s Only an 11% Chance Evidence Will Come Out Proving Kamala Harris Worked at McDonalds

Huge crowds, hilarious quips and a jovial atmosphere were the themes of the day as Donald Trump completed his first ever shift at McDonald’s.

The former president visited a Pennsylvania franchise on Sunday, Oct. 20 as part of his campaign to win the battleground state in the presidential election – and mock Kamala Harris for her evidence-free claims to have once been a McDonald’s employee.

Trump arrived for his well-anticipated shift donning a full suit.

He immediately got to work, attending the deep fat fryer…

…before serving customers at the drive-thru.

He also took questions from reporters, stopping only to acknowledge the large crowd gathered outside the restaurant.

The Republican presidential nominee made the visit amid popular demand. It also served as a reminder to one of Kamala Harris’ tall tales; despite claiming to have worked in a McDonald’s in her early career.

“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala [at McDonald’s],” the former president told reporters from the drive-thru serving hatch, labeling her “lying Kamala” in the process.

Amusingly, when McDonalds corporate addressed the event in an internal email, they acknowledged that there was no evidence whatsoever to Harris’ claims that she once worked at McDonalds.

And those willing to put their money where their mouths are aren’t optimistic either. In fact, given the betting odds as of writing, someone would multiply their bet nearly tenfold if evidence did come out proving Harris worked here.

Trump’s shift was equally as popular on social media as it was in-person.

Others noted how Trump’s shift was partly to troll the Vice President on her birthday.

GOP Makes Gains Across Swing States In Early Voting Figures

Early voting figures in several key states show a ten-point swing in favor of the GOP.

Information on voting so far from L2 Data was analyzed on ABC News, showing the breakdown of voters in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin – five of which are key swing states.

The number of ballots cast so far in these jurisdictions is just under 5.2 million – a fall of three million from 2020.

The GOP has made significant gains on the Democrats, amassing 38% of the early vote compared to 32% four years prior. On the contrary, the Democrats have dropped four points to 50%, while third parties are amassing 12% of the vote (down two points from 2020).

A ten-point swing against the governing party would be disastrous for Vice President Kamala Harris, who is seeking to defend the White House on its razor thin majority. Trump lost by just over 40,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin 2020, meaning just a 1% swing across all states would be enough to win the election.

Many conservatives were excited about the early voting results.

Some also encouraged other conservatives to keep up the pressure.

Viral Backlash Over New Rainbow Flag Crosswalk Design In Colorado

The city of Fort Collins, CO, has unveiled a new rainbow flag-themed crosswalk.

Located on Howes Street, the crosswalk was unveiled in time for LGBTQ+ History Month and “National Coming Out Day” on Friday, Oct. 11.

“Coming out is a powerful act of authenticity and bravery that fosters understanding and connection. While we celebrate those who choose to live openly, we recognize that many still feel hesitant to come out at work,” said City Manager Kelly DiMartino. “Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels safe and supported, regardless of their coming-out journey.”

The symbol’s installation forced the closure of Howes Street for several hours, before the crosswalk was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony the following day.

Quite why a painted flag will help closeted homosexuals embrace their true selves was not made clear in the city’s press release, which also failed to recognize the divisive nature of the rainbow flag or the potential distracting danger to vehicular traffic. There was no mention of any cost to local taxpayers, nor was there acknowledgement of previous incidents involving Pride-themed road markings.

Many expressed frustration that taxpayer money was yet again being used on virtue signaling.

Other commentors were simply fed up with more wokeism on the streets.

Is Elon Musk Responsible For Big Tech’s Shift To The Right?

U.S. Big Tech. executives are politically shifting back to the right.

A graph shared by X user @eyelasho noted a divided political split among tech executives in 2024, with most leaning heavily to the left or right. Such support for conservative ideas has not been seen among such a group since the turn of the century.

As the chart shows, in 2000 tech execs tended to donate mainly to moderate candidates, while by 2016 they were *heavily* favoring Democrats, which continued in 2020. However in 2024 a rift opened up, and a number of high profile figures in Silicon Valley have poured money into the Trump campaign.

According to the Financial Times, which is the source of the above chart:

Using data on millions of political donations made by tens of thousands of executives, board members and senior managers since 2001, Steel finds that the median US CEO is no longer solidly on the right. Instead, he or she is now a political moderate, while senior managers today are overwhelmingly left-leaning.

The share of companies with overwhelmingly left-leaning or right-leaning leadership teams is rising, leading to increased rates of disruption when political misfits leave or are pushed out.

The recent splintering of Silicon Valley into an increasingly outspoken conservative venture capital industry and a still left-leaning broader tech sector appears emblematic of this wider trend. Recent changes to Elon Musk’s social media platform X are a reminder that corporations embodying the values of their leadership will not always point in a progressive direction.

The article also had some interesting data on how CEOs and senior managers in general have been leaning politically in the U.S., indicating that CEOs are generally right-wing, and senior managers left-wing.

One social media immediately questioned how accurate the data may be.

However, these are hardly the first data points showing a shift in big tech.

A 2017 Vox article described tech entrepreneurs as “pretty liberal” with three-quarters (75.2%) confirming that they had voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. However, an article from 2022 suggested tech billionaires were shifting to the right, noting a more polarized political climate compared despite strong support for liberals. Interestingly, the article was written shortly after Elon Musk took over Twitter.

Elon’s vocal support for Trump has exacerbated support among big tech executives so far in 2024. The world’s richest man’s beliefs, particularly his commitment to free speech, has led to entrepreneurs becoming more aware of Kamala Harris’ approach to taxation and her largely anti-libertarian beliefs.

Without accurate data, it’s hard to truly measure the conservative shift among tech executives. For all we know, the movement could be far bigger than many believe.

Donald Trump’s Al Smith Dinner Had Everyone In Tears… Particularly Kamala Harris

Social media was in stitches on Thursday, Oct. 17 after Donald Trump roasted Kamala Harris (and many more) at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York.

The charitable event is a staple of the electoral cycle, usually taking place in the three weeks before the election. It has historically been attended by both Republican and Democrat presidential nominees, although the Vice President declined the invitation, making her the first to do so since Walter Mondale (who then went on to lose 49 states).

Harris’ absence left an open goal for former president Trump, who obliterated the Democratic Party and his presidential rival.

Trump’s top five moments of the night were collated by Collin Rugg on X, opening with a reference to “Tampon” Tim Walz. The Republican joked he “used to think Democrats were crazy” for suggesting men could have periods, until he met the Minnesota Gov.

Give it a watch below:

Arguably, the highlight of the night (included in the video above) was Trump’s joke about the in-attendance Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. “Chuck Schumer is here looking very glum… but look on the bright side, Chuck, considering how woke your party has become, if Kamala loses, you still have a chance to become the first woman president,” Trump said as Schumer shook his head.

Kamala reportedly stopped watching the dinner after Trump made a reference to her husband Doug Emhoff’s historic affair with a nanny. “A major issue in this race is childcare, and Kamala has put forward a concept of a plan… The only piece of advice I would have for her in the event she wins would be not to let husband Doug anywhere near the nannies,” he told the auditorium.

Trump had some other great moments too. It’s expected for the presidential candidates to make jokes about themselves – which Trump made a joke out of in classic Trump fashion.

He also knocked Walz over pretending to be part of historic events.

And there was also a spontaneous roasting of Bill DeBlasio when Trump learned of his presence in the audience – who was immediately blasted as the worst mayor ever.

Some social media users noted other quips by the former president which made them laugh.

Many commentors loved Trump’s digs at the Democrats.

The View’s Sunny Hostin Thinks Kamala Harris’ Interview With Fox News Was “Racist” And “Sexist”

MSNBC responded to the disastrous Kamala Harris Fox News interview in typical fashion – with allegations of racism and sexism.

Bret Baier tore down the Democrat’s campaign in a 28-minute interview that most described as disastrous for the Vice President. Harris repeatedly dodged questions, or used opportunities to present her policies to a new audience to attack Donald Trump.

Of course, the scrutiny was too much to bear for many liberals, including the left-wing MSNBC. On “The Beat with Ari Melber”, The View’s Sunny Hostin expressed her frustration over Harris being spoken to by a journalist the same way they talk to Trump.

“I saw a little bit of the [Fox News] panel after the interview and one woman said that [Harris] came in hot, and also said that she became angrier,” the Hostin explained. “I thought [Baier] came in hot, and what I am very tired of is this trope of the angry, Black woman.”

“She was not angry; she was in command – of the fact, she was passionate. Passion does not equal anger,” she continued, before complaining about Trump’s recent remarks over the “dumb” correspondents on The View.

Social media users noted that using the race card meant Harris had performed terribly during the interview.

Another user noted that Baier is not renowned for his fondness for Trump.
