Concerns Aplenty As Tim Walz Meets Alex Soros At The DNC

While the festivities of the Democratic National Convention entered its final day on Thursday, August 22, attention briefly turned away from Kamala Harris’ onto her running mate, Tim Walz.

The Minnesota Gov. opted to spend a bit of his afternoon speaking with Alex Soros – the son of George Soros – and his new fiancé (and former Hillary Clinton aide) Huma Abedin. Like father, like son, Alex controls a multi-billion-dollar empire capable of funding political campaigns.

Last year, around the time he took over his father’s empire, Alex had a meeting with VP Harris that we only know about because he posted about it on Instagram – as Harris interestingly left that meeting off her public schedule that day.

And there were plenty more meetings. As Fox reported last September:

Vice President Harris hosted George Soros heir Alex Soros at her private residence, along with several other top Democratic donors earlier this year, White House visitor logs show.

The White House released Harris’ May 2023 visitor logs late last week, and a May 31 entry showed that Soros visited her private residence, listed in the documents as “1st Floor VPR.” Joining Soros were supermodel Savannah Huitema and seven other prominent Democratic donors.

Soros posted a picture of himself with Harris on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on June 6, and boasted about a meeting with the vice president. Details of where and when the meeting took place were not previously known, however.

In the event of a Harris-Walz presidency, there will be no doubt who is really pulling the strings.

With their Republican rival being a famous billionaire, the Democrats have sought to wage a war against the rich and wealthy in a bid to secure voters from lower income backgrounds.

This has led to awkward contradictions at the DNC with far-left progressives maintaining a different stance to the more liberal elements of the Democratic Party.

It also contradicts the criticism leveled by Walz to his Republican counterpart J.D. Vance. The Democrat has shown particular hostility towards Vance’s career which he previously claimed was “funded by Silicon Valley billionaires.”

Naturally, the Soros involvement with yet another Democrat also raises concerns among voters. Pumping millions, if not billions, of dollars into a campaign can influence policy and decision-making.
