A bizarre conversation on social media has gone viral after the ex-wife of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff called out Usha Vance – the wife of Donald Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance.
Kerstin Emhoff was married to Kamala Harris’ now-husband from 1992 to 2008, during which time they had two children.
On Wednesday, July 31, Kerstin reposted a Kamala HQ video which accused Sen. Vance of “going to war against” childless people.
“Usha’s going to be in the ex-wives club in 2025. Mark my words,” she wrote on X.
Three days later, news broke that the Second Gentleman impregnated his daughter’s nanny while married to Kerstin. Sure enough, the article was quickly shared back to her.
Many on social media expressed their disbelief at the absurdity of the situation.
Kerstin issued a statement to the Washington Post following news of the affair.
“Doug and I decided to end our marriage for a variety of reasons, many years ago,” she said. “He is a great father to our kids, continues to be a great friend to me and I am really proud of the warm and supportive blended family Doug, Kamala, and I have built together.”
What a weird bunch.
