Demi Lovato brought a bold beach wardrobe to the Bahamas while celebrating her 34th birthday with an island getaway.
The “Camp Rock” star shared scenes from the trip in an Instagram slideshow posted Monday, putting a cherry red string bikini in the spotlight, as reported by Page Six.
Lovato set the mood for the birthday update with the caption, “Someone’s gotta hold it down in the Bahamas.”

Her carousel offered a broad look at the tropical celebration, mixing swimsuit moments with snapshots of her travel companions.
The collection featured several friends alongside dogs and even pigs.
While the animals and group moments appeared throughout the slideshow, Lovato’s lineup of leopard print clothing and colorful bikinis provided plenty of attention-grabbing vacation fashion.
The first image showed Lovato wearing an animal print dress. She completed that opening look with beach waves and a glowing tan, offering a glamorous start before the carousel shifted into her selection of swimwear.
A quick swipe revealed the birthday girl posing in a cherry red swimsuit. The cheeky shot highlighted the bright bikini as Lovato continued documenting how she spent her 34th birthday in the Bahamas.
The singer also featured the same red two-piece in a TikTok filmed during the trip. For that video, Lovato lay face down in the sand while still wearing the swimsuit seen in her Instagram carousel.
She added the message, “DND except for making TikToks.” The brief statement matched the video’s voiceover, which made Lovato’s desired level of birthday communication especially clear while she remained focused on creating TikToks.
The voiceover declared, “I don’t want anybody to call me on the phone. I don’t want anybody to text me. I don’t want to speak to anybody.”

Lovato’s message left no confusion about her preference while enjoying the island getaway.
The red string bikini was not the only swimsuit Lovato packed for the birthday trip. Her vacation wardrobe included several additional options, giving the slideshow more than one beach-ready look.
Among the other pieces was a black bikini featuring contrasting white ties. Lovato also brought a colorful printed style, adding another bright choice to the collection of suits displayed during her time in the Bahamas.
Leopard print also appeared more than once across the getaway wardrobe. Together with the bikinis, the print helped define the fashion featured throughout Lovato’s birthday carousel, beginning with the dress shown in the first image.
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer marked the occasion with a group of friends. Libby Kelter, Byron Gamble and Matthew Scott Montgomery were among those who joined Lovato as she celebrated her big day during the island trip.
The Instagram slideshow brought those parts of the getaway together, moving between friends, animals and Lovato’s vacation looks.

Lovato’s Bahamas break arrived before another scheduled tour date.
She will return to her “It’s Not That Deep” tour on August 28 in Atlantic City, NJ, following the birthday celebration and its bikini-filled social media update.
