Former Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman, Michael Steele, who held the position between 2009 and 2011, now works for legacy news network MSNC. He recently exposed himself (again) as the irredeemable RINO he always was over Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cost-cutting measures.
Most presidents before Trump have promised to curb government wasteful spending. However, only President Trump had the spine to follow through and confront the nemesis of unchecked government wasteful spending that threatens to bankrupt the country.
Steele recently embarrassed himself in a cringeworthy tirade on MSNBC about Musk’s DOGE curbing wasteful spending. He rallied Democrats against Trump for doing what most presidents, including Republicans, only paid lip service to but lacked the spine to do. “I’d just like you to show that you give a damn!” the former RNC chairman said. “That you get a little emotional about the fact that people are losing their jobs indiscriminately!
“That this individual sitting down at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has given absolute power to one man, who brings his son into the Oval Office, whose son says to him, ‘you’re not the president! You shouldn’t be in that chair!’
“Now, where did he get that from? He got it from his daddy! Because that’s what his daddy thinks of the man who brought him into the Oval Office.”
Steele also fearmongered that Musk’s DOGE was everywhere, from your bedrooms and living rooms to your businesses. I hardly believe that ordinary Americans should fear DOGE unless they are laundering money on behalf of the government agencies under scrutiny.
“They’ve got they got your data, dumb a–! They got all your stuff! Elon Musk has his tentacles in everything you’re doing! Not just off of X, but he’s in the Treasury Department! He’s in the Labor Department! He’s in [the] Department of Homeland Security!” He continued.
The former RNC chairman sounds like a model DEI hire employed to regurgitate the Democrats’ political talking points. It’s also very naive of him to think that any government agency was above the law and not subject to audit. Similarly, it is also hypocritical for the former RNC chair to care about people losing their jobs when those jobs do not serve the interests of American taxpayers.
We recently reported that barely 6% of federal workers report to work daily, and many opted to quit instead of reporting to the office when given the chance. Not many American taxpayers have the luxury of choosing between reporting to work or quitting with advanced pay. However, Steele and his ilk want to convince Americans otherwise.
Musk’s DOGE also uncovered the wasteful spending of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), of which less than 300 out of the over 10,000 employees worldwide are essential.
The department also recently discovered that approximately $4.7 trillion in federal government payments could not be accounted for because their tracking codes were left empty, leaving ample room for fraud.
Yet Leftists continue to fight DOGE for stopping the wasteful spending because everybody else matters to them except the ordinary American taxpayer who bears the financial burden of funding these unnecessary expenses.
